J's Squeaky Cleaning LLC

I wish I would have read the reviews on Yelp before I had bought this Livingsocial - apparently, my experience is not unique. I had an appointment for 11am today. When no one had showed up at 11:15, I called. No answer and straight to voicemail where I left a message. I repeated that process at least three more times. Finally, at 12:45, someone answered the phone and said she didn't know why the crew didn't show up and that she would call me back after she checked with the driver. 15 minutes later, when she hadn't called me back, I called her. She told me that the crew had been to my house and I never answered the door. That was a straight up LIE. I had been sitting on my couch, right next to my front door since 10:30am. When I tried to reschedule for the same day, at first she said she would see if she could, and then a few minutes later said she had nothing available for today. Granted, I was frustrated and wanted to know how she was going to fix things, but instead of listening to my frustrations, she cut me off, told me to ask for a refund from Livingsocial, and hung up on me. Livingsocial needs to get it together and stop offering companies that have this poor of a reputation. Livingsocial's site says: "LivingSocial is the local marketplace to buy and share the best things to do in your city." If anything, J's Squeaky Cleaning is the worst in this city. Livingsocial has proven to me that my time is better spent doing my own homework and spending my money elsewhere. After J's Squeaky Cleaning did not show up, and I had changed my entire day around to be home, I called cleaners recommended by some friends, Maids in Black (http://www.maidsinblack.com/). I made the appointment at 1:45, they were at my house by 2:30, and had the entire house spotless by 4:30. Clearly, it's not worth the headache of going through Livingsocial. If I had just gone with Maids in Black from the beginning, I could have saved the time, money, and effort of dealing with J's Squeaky Cleaning.

I purchased cleaning services provided by J's Squeaky Cleaning Service through Living Social. I was moving out of my condo and wanted to make sure the process was as stress free as possible. I scheduled the cleaning for just after the movers came and just prior to our tenant moving in. I tried multiple times the week leading up to the cleaning to contact J's Squeaky Cleaning Service to ensure the cleaning crew knew that this was for a move out, because I was going to be renting out my condo. I never was able to speak to a person, it always forwarded me to a voice mail, which no one ever called me back. The day before cleaning, I did receive an e-mail reminding ME that I had a cleaning appointment the next day. I took off work to ensure I was there for the crew. After waiting for over an hour and a half for them to show (after the scheduled time), they never did show. There were no phone calls stating that they were running behind, or that they were on their way. I began calling J's Squeaky Cleaning Service and again, was never able to speak with a representative, it always forwarded me to voice mail, with NO ONE ever calling me back. For a period of time, I called every 15 minutes. I sent multiple e-mails, with no response. I had to call Living Social to tell them that the crew never showed, and they (Living Social) were not able to get in touch with J's Squeaky Cleaning Service either. The crew never showed. J's Squeaky Cleaning Services, although never responding to me, did send me two e-mails after the fact stating they appreciated my business and hoped that I was satisfied with their service. Nope. Not satisfied. I had to do the walk-through of my condo with our new tenant with the condo a mess. It was not cleaned at all. I was not able to find another company to cover last minute for the failure of J's Squeaky Cleaning Services.
