Excellent. Dimitri responded promptly to my email and came out within a few days to look at the needed work, and take measurements for an estimate. We received an estimate promptly, a tentative schedule for the work and the expected duration of the job. Dimitri was very professional. The work was completed without a hitch and looks great. A pleasure to deal with the gentleman! We are having Intex come back for assessment of other areas of the exterior that need repair. Highly recommended!

Dimitri was very upfront and honest about the stucco repair that needed to be done (the larger cracks and holes), work that would be better performed by painters (crazed surfaces that were primarily cosmetic), and work that he would not do because it would expose major problems that likely would entail a complete rebuild (a freestanding wall that has proven to be problematic in neighboring homes). He could have padded his job by saying it all needed stucco repair, but declined to do so. We have had difficulty finding stucco repair people, so it was a pleasure to find Dimitri. He was easy to work with, responsive, and did an excellent job matching the texture and the color of the existing stucco. His price was also better than previous quotes.

Intex Plastering, as represented by Mr. Dimitri Kovalevski, was fantastic. Professional, friendly, and understanding. Very punctual, too. He demonstrated acute expertise in diagnosing how best to fix the stucco and protect the house from further damage. He worked efficiently and effectively. The fixes look great and permanent. He carefully cleaned the work area before he left. Additionally, he provided options for future maintenance of our stucco house.

I did not use them. I would use them again in the future for an estimates, bids, or quotes.

Dimitri came out for an estimate on some stucco cracking. He was super responsive, ahead of schedule, and gave me a candid assessment of the issue. In my case, no repairs were needed as the issue was normal wear/tear. I really appreciated his honestly and unwillingness to do unnecessary work. I will definitely go back to him if/when it becomes an issue.

We were very pleased with the work that Dmitri and his team performed. Dmitri closely supervised the crew, visited the site virtually every day, and kept us apprised of the progress on a regular basis (generally by text message or e-mail). With respect to deadlines, he consistently underpromised and overdelivered. As another reviewer noted, his crew work long and hard, including on weekends, to make sure the job was completed in a timely way and before the weather got cold. The quality of the work is top-notch, and we're very pleased with how the work looks. Despite the mild weather so far, the EIFS clearly makes a difference in how comfortable our house feels. We highly recommend Dmitri and wouldn't hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to others.

Everything went without a problem from end to end. This is one of the best contractors I have ever used. The entire front side of our house is EIFS. We bought the house last summer and had an EIFS inspection done at the time. The inspector had provided us a list of items that he recommended we get fixed- this included a 13' by 5' bulge underneath one of the windows that he'd told us could become the cause of water penetration if we left it alone. I contacted Intex and Dimitri called me back promptly. He came out to take a look and recommended exactly the same list of repairs as the inspector (without seeing the report). He was very detailed in his explanation of each item and how he was going to work on them. He was also very quick to provide not only his quote and contract, but also his certification and insurance references when I asked for them and he patiently answered all of my questions. He was very clear that the cost of fixing the bulge may go up depending on what they found underneath- and if we needed to bring in a carpenter. They had an opening in their calendar before another job - the crew turned up the following week and got most of the work done during the week. The whole project took less than two weeks from my initial contact. Fortunately they were able to fix the bulge themselves and it did not cost us any extra - so I paid exactly what we had agreed upfront. Dimitri pays a lot of attention to detail and he went out of his way to make his job work to our satisfaction. For example, when we were struggling to decide on the new color of the wall, he asked us to narrow down our choices from a catalog first, and then created real samples for us on large panels so we could see for ourselves what the different colors looked like and made it a lot easier to make our final choice. He also installed some kickouts at the bottom edges of our bay window roof area, they are small and you don't notice them from a distance but I didn't like how they looked - he obliged me by painting them so they blended in with the rest of the EIFS color. They also did some odd jobs for us as they were doing the work without requiring to send out for other contractors and without charging us extra - for example his crew had to remove some of the outside lights to do their work and he noticed they were getting old and one of them was broken - he offered to install new ones if I bought them by a certain day. They also (carefully)removed a small beehive from just under our roof which was in the way. The crew were polite and professional and cleaned up each day after they left. On the last day, Dimitri himself came out with a broom and ensured that every last detail was complete and cleaned up. This is the first contractor that I've used that literary left the work site as clean as the day they came in.

Company owner Dimitri is certified to do EIFS coating work, and his many excellent references convinced me to call him. Dimitri carefully studied my home inspector?s report (which we commissioned prior to purchasing the house) and then the house. He spent almost half an hour studying the job to properly prepare for my briefing. He then fully briefed me on all the repairs that were recommended. He asked me if I had questions, which he slowly and carefully answered, and asked if I wanted to address all or only some of the items he recommended for now. I decided to ask him to make it like new despite its being 20 years old, accepting all his recommendations. That, amazing as it might seem, is exactly what he did. The thing is, EIFS is tricky stuff. It?s soft and has several coats of mesh, sealer, and paint over a thick sheet of foam. Each layer has to be applied very carefully. You really have to know what you?re doing to properly repair it without creating potential moisture problems and leaks later. The work crew that showed up were prompt, courteous, and conscientious about their work. His team didn?t just repair the EIFS. I looked very closely at their work after it was completed, and I was surprised to find it wasn?t just a repair job, it was a craftsman-like work of art. All the seal joints were perfect. The caulking was perfect. The paint was perfect. They trimmed all my window EIFS baseboards which had been installed incorrectly on the house originally, to the proper 20 degree slope, and applied mesh, sealer, and then fresh paint to the trimmed areas. This could not have been easy, and it was all flawlessly accomplished. The paint was almost a perfect match, only a slight shade lighter since the original paint was 20 years old. It?s the best I could hope for, and I?m sure after a year in the sun it will be a perfect match. As it is, unless you look closely, and I mean really closely, you can?t even tell any repairs were done. That?s how good Dimitri?s team is. Dimitri imay not be the very lowest price out there, but he was lower than most. But with EIFS, a bad job will be costly later, and so I?m convinced I received tremendous value. His price was very competitive, yet his execution was extraordinary. I was *extremely* impressed. I expected it to be good. I didn?t expect it to be a work of art. Wow! I recommend Dimitri and his team highly and without reservation, and can share that doing business with him was a real pleasure. He?s a good guy.

Dimitri Kovalevski and his crew did an outstanding job for me. He knew I was in a bit of a rush to get my house ready to sell and went above and beyond what I would expect to help me out. My house looks amazing! I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thanks again, Dimitri!

Working on a Project and will most likely be using his service.

Dimitri and has team did an outstanding job on this DC project. The original structure had three layers of siding applied over a wooden structure built in the early 1900s. The siding allowed moisture to seep into the structure and rot parts of the framing. Dimitri's team removed all the siding. He then recommended two carpenters to apply a new wood framework and plywood to the old structure. We selected one of the carpenters...Brian Haynes to do the work. Once Brian was done, Dimitri and his team returned to apply the synthetic stucco to the new plywood. They then cleaned up the entire area and removed all the debris. Excellent work. I highly recommend them.

Dimitri and his team did an excellent job. They were responsive and efficient. They even worked the weekends in order to get the work done before the weather turned too cold. All of his staff was excellent. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

There are only a handful of companies listed that do stucco repair and I believe I made the right choice in choosing Intex Plastering. Dimitri came out and fully explained to me what he thought needed to be done to repair the stucco finish. While his estimate was more expensive than another estimate I received I believe the repairs he proposed were more thorough and were more likely to be the long term fix to the stucco issues we were having.

We cannot over state how happy we are with Dimitri and Intex Plastering. Dimitri is a craftsman who prides himself on delivering the highest level of customer service and professionalism. He and his crew arrived early each morning and worked an entire day The crew was always cordial and polite and they concluded each day by cleaning up after themselves. Dimitiri closely supervised his crew to ensure that he caught mistakes and had them corrected before we ever knew about it. He carefully and thoroughly explained each and every step of the process along the way and showed us pictures of what he was going to do. We encountered some unexpected problems with the house and Dimtri helped guide us through repairs with solutions that made the most sense. He was a great partner during our home renovations and we came to rely on his counsel. Dimitri was even nice enough to advocate on our behalf with the company that installed our windows improperly. He does great work, that is honest and fairly priced.

My fiance and I were having problems with interior water damage caused by a faulty stucco wall. Dimitri and his crew were amazing from the start. Dimitri provided a reasonable quote and walked us through his proposed solution - an exterior insulation finishing system. He told us that not only would this system prevent moisture from entering the home, it would also increase the home's energy efficiency. He was never pushy and wanted to make sure the project was something we were comfortable with. When we decided to select his bid he spent a great deal of time discussing the details with us in-person, over email, and on the phone. He even spent several hours with me at the DC permitting office to help get the necessary scaffolding permit. When it came time for the job to begin, his crew was on time and extremely professional. They continued to discuss the progress and various finishing options with us as the work went on. For example, Dimitri would send us daily photos of the job site and ask for our input. The job finished early and was extremely well done. We only found one minor finishing issue that was a mistake by a member of his work crew. Dimitri went back that day to fix it. What great customer service! Overall, Dimitri was extremely easy to work with and completed the project at a very reasonable rate. After several weeks with the new exterior insulation finishing system we are very happy with how the wall looks and performs (we have already noticed a difference in the warmth of our home). We would definitely recommend him to others!!

Dmitri was awesome, very responsive! We were in the process of selling our house and the home buyers were very nervous about outdated information they had read on the internet regarding EIFS problems from 15 years ago. In the end, we agreed to replace the caulking but it had to be done by a certified EIFS repair person. So, it cost a lot more than my normal handyman, but we really didn't have much choice in the matter, either. (None of this is reflective of Intex, but rather our buyers) Dmitri saved the day and got it taken care of quickly! The home inspector provided a written report, so from that standpoint the job was pretty straightforward and became a matter of scheduling. I wish more contractors were like this!

Dimitri came out at the time/date we scheduled for the initial review. He was very professional and assessed the problem in short order; offering two different solutions at two different price points so we had options. After we choose our preferred solution with his firm, and reviewed that against different quotes we received from others, we had decided to work with him. He was able to start the work immediately and had everything completed in less than 5 days. His team and he cleaned up the whole area, included some spill over in our neighbors yard (our neighbor even said how nice he was to do that). More to the point the work came out very well! I definitely recommend his company.

He was good and did a nice job. He spent the time with us and really listened to what we were looking for. He really tried his best to make it the way we wanted. It was expensive but it was a lot but I think he could have made the price better.

I felt other consumers considering this company should know that the pricing extended by this company is going to be way above and beyond what you'll find from other contractors for the same work. I needed basic caulking around my home and a stucco fireplace repainted to cover minor grill smoke stains. I also needed a metal railing sanded and two walls and a small flight of outdoor steps pressure-washed and painted. We are talking about 2 days of work (MAX) with minor materials, i.e., some paint, sanders and caulk. Of course some tools would also be needed but from a pure cost and outlay standpoint the needs were very minimal. The quote I got was over $3,500!! This is a $2k-$2,500 job "at most" and I asked provider to drop price from $3,524 to $3,000 even. Not only did he not agree but he insulted me by coming back with $24 off and re-pricing job at $3,500 even. When I kindly shared I thought he was high and I would not be needing him he sent back a "Good Bye" email which to me was condescending and unprofessional and tells me this provider would not have been one I would have enjoyed employing, for any work. That is my feedback for others considering this company, good luck.

We were prepping my late mother-in-law's house for sale, and noticed that the chimney was a mess. I called Dimitri at Intex, and he responded quickly and we set up an appointment. As luck would have it, our appointment was during the last snow storm, but I think Dimiti would have happily driven out anyway, but we rescheduled for a few days. Dimitri arrived promptly and explained to me the options. His frank and honest answers were refreshing. When I received his quote, it was considerably lower than the other 2 quotes I had received (less then 1/2 of one of them!), so I was actually a little skeptical about what was really going to be done, but Dimitri assured me it would look great, and he was not wrong! The work was completed ahead of schedule, and looks fantastic. Dimitri was in constant communication during the repair, even sending me pictures, showing that the work was in process and when it was completed. The team did a great job and cleaned up nicely after themselves. I would definitely recommend Dimitri and Intex to anyone looking for Stucco work.

While it was John West who did most of the actual hands-on work, Dimitri pretty much laid out how it was to be done in consultation with John. It began with the outside work to repair stucco on the east side of the house. The job was done expertly and looked like new after the painting was done. The ceiling of the inside room was next, drywall had to be cut out, replaced, cracks Spackled and the ceiling painted. Then the living room wall was repaired and painted. The color was not right after the first coat, so Dimitri got fresh paint and the next coat was a match. Then the third floor room ceiling had all loose materials removed, new stucco applied and painted. Dimitri was present to inspect, give suggestions and point out areas that would need more paint, etc. When a piece of stucco on a different part of outside wall that had not been worked on fell off, Dimitri and John fixed it at no extra cost. In all, a very professional job by two men who know their business.
