This guy is a joke. DO NOT hire him unless you want to spend a lot of money repairing the work he does. He gave me an initial quote of $200, as he gets paid by the hour. The job cost $330 (not including the price of the toilet) and he didn't touch the window. First he misdiagnosed the leaking toilet even though I told him the toilet was leaking from the bottom and it had a crack at the base. First he said it was the tank....he ran off to Home Depot and bought a part for the tank. Then he said it wasn't the tank, it was the wax seal. The replaced the wax seal, then he said it was the toilet. He went back to Home Depot (I had to go with to buy it since he was "short on cash") He replaced the toilet. Then he spent 50 minutes snaking the tub (and scratched the tub in the process), but when it didn't work, he put lye down the drain. (It was still clogged after he finished.) He misdiagnosed the outside light fixture and bought two bulbs for it. (wasting $30) I told him it wasn't the bulbs because they wouldn't have both blown at the same time. He didn't listen. After he left I noticed water stains on my dining room ceiling, which is directly under my bathroom. Not knowing whether he had busted a pipe with the snake or installed the toilet improperly, I had to hire another plumber to figure it out. (At that point, I wouldn't let Bobby near my house to cause more damage.) Turns out, when Bobby replaced the toilet, he didn't remove the water from the old toilet and a substantial amount of water flooded my ceiling. The new plumber snaked the tub drain again and got the clog out. And he found a paper towel Bobby had left in the vent pipe. I called Bobby and asked him to return some supplies he had me purchase for the window. Despite calling him repeatedly, he has not returned my property. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this guy.
Description of Work: Hired "Bobby" to fix leaking toilet, snake a bathtub drain, replace an indoor and outdoor light fixture, straighten a sagging screen door, and remove condensation between window and storm window.
