Dr Glass Window Washing

We were motivated to have our windows cleaned due to the upcoming wedding of our son and planned celebrations at our home. Because we live on a busy street and due to the completion (finally!) of construction in our area ( shopping center renovation, library and bank construction, road repaving, etc.) our windows were in dire need of serious cleaning. When I called Dr. Glass and left a message, Tim, the owner, responded quickly. He was actually out on-the-job when I called, but phoned back as soon as he was off the ladder. We scheduled with Tim for a date 2-3 weeks before the wedding. Unfortunately, that week was a total washout! Tim sent one of his crews to do the inside work on the scheduled day, and then promised to do his best to reschedule our work when the weather cleared. He fulfilled that promise and did an excellent job! He worked diligently to get the job done before our house guests arrived. Our windows sparkled!!! We highly recommend Tim and his company and will call on him again.

Extremely well. They even had a staffing problem mid-job, but made it their issue not ours and the work was completed on time.

Tim Poly's team were amazing. They arrived on time, working diligently and unobtrusively. I have never been as pleased with a service in my home. My windows were cleaned but so were the screens, the skylights and hard to reach glass window pieces. I wish there were a grade higher than an A+ to give them all!!

Impressed with Angie's List reports of Dr. Glass, and especially by Dr. Glass's website, I telephoned Tim to make a date, explaining that I'm putting my townhouse up for sale. He gave me an estimate over the phone, based on numbers of windows, storms, and screens, as well as type of window, and told me what to expect on the appointed day (who would arrive first, etc.). His two co-workers (arriving ahead of him) got immediately, quietly, and efficiently to work, removing storm windows and screens, and working on inside windows first. I was concerned about the carpets that had just had a thorough cleaning, but the workers donned paper booties whenever they came inside, and took them off to go back out. A light drizzle briefly delayed cleaning the second floor windows. After approximately seven hours on the job, Dr. Glass departed, leaving the cleanest windows I have ever remembered seeing. The screens seemed to glisten. The house seemed so much brighter. Three just-planted begonias were casualties of the window-washing operation, but the perpetrator was truly chagrined, profusely apologized, and deducted more from the final bill than I said was necessary.

I was unable to be home while his crew came but Tim kept me informed of their progress. The process took them several hours. Everything was in place when I returned home as if they were never there. There were a few windows that "I felt" weren't clean and Tim came personally for a redo. Very professional. I would hire them again.

They did an excellent job. We had not had our windows professionally done and we have lived in our home for over 20 years. They took off their shoes when they entered my home. They washed every window, outside and in, and removed very hard to remove storm windows as well. They were timely and very efficient and professional.

Our experience was excellent. Everyone arrived in a timely manner, and the quality of the work was top notch! The team was very friendly, and I hardly noticed they were here, despite the fact that they were here for the entire day.

Outstanding! Tim came out and gave me an estimate the same day I called and followed up the next day (which was a Saturday). We were under time constraints as our house was going on the market and Tim and his crew came out within a few days and did a beautiful job. The windows, which were very dirty, now sparkle. They even cleaned a chandelier in a two story foyer that hadn't been cleaned in ages and got rid of the cobwebs at the top of the same foyer. They showed up on time, put everything back, and were extremely pleasant. They earned the job for our next house too! A+++.

Nathan and Catherine did an amazing job. They were punctual, very courteous and friendly, extremely neat and worked very, very hard to make our windows sparkle. Their job was made more difficult because workmen scheduled to replace the roof showed up a day early (due to impending weather considerations) but Nathan and Catherine never complained and worked tirelessly until the job was done. We couldn't believe the difference in our windows--they look brand new!

Everything was done to our complete satisfaction. They were willing to work with our time frame with no problems. Very personable staff too. We will definitely use them again.

As Tim said, our windows have "character" and they did a fantastic and careful job cleaning - windows, screens, storm windows, and the interior channels. They all wore booties in our house as to not track in dirt, moved furniture and window treatments carefully, and put them back into place. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Excellent work performed. Tim Poly took care to leave the house as he found it (other than the sparkling windows). He used slip-ons to ensure dirt was not tracked into the house. He and the other 2 team members worked quickly, thoroughly, and quietly. I'm sorry we haven't done this earlier and will use his company again. Well worth the investment.

We have a very large house with many windows. We have used window cleaning companies before but none like this. They came right out when I called for an estimate and came when they said they would. They came out at 9 and left at 6 in the evening and were here the whole time. The crew was a man and a woman. They were extremely pleasant and did such a fine job. Our windows look incredible! After the work was done, our furniture was moved back and there was no mess to clean up. They also reported to us on every window where they saw a flaw or possible problem and we were very impressed with that. They were relatively expensive but they were worth it. I think you get what you pay for and we got superb workmanship for what we paid. I also think their prices are right in line for what they deliver. We intend to call back Dr. Glass next year and have their crew come back and clean our windows again.

What an amazing job Nathan and Carmen did! The windows are spotless, and our outlook has improved immeasurably. Our windows probably hadn't been cleaned in at least 20 years, so the difference is truly remarkable.

The work went extremely well... we had no complaints whatsoever, and in fact, it was done so efficiently and so well that we tipped him the amount of the "Angie's List discount coupon" ($30). We liked the fact that all screens were removed, brought down from their windows, cleaned, and then returned to the windows from which they came. That was necessary due to maintain a fit. So many window cleaners in the area think they have a more efficient (read "quicker") way to do it, and they will tend to get the screens out of order, resulting in a jigsaw puzzle to get them all back in place properly. There was none of this nonsense with Dr Glass. He knew precisely what was needed, and very quickly got to work and did exactly that. Unfortunately, he found some bees or yellow jackets or whatever under at least one of the shutters, and was stung in the course of doing his good work. All the more reason for a tip. He did outstanding work for us.

Tim visited the house while we were at work to give us an estimate, and I then made an appointment for Friday, October 19th. They arrived on time and set up in our kitchen, where they washed the storms. I told them I'd just had some of the carpets cleaned, and they were careful to take their shoes off or cover them. I had tried to move things out of the way so that the windows were accessible, but they moved furniture as necessary and replaced it afterwards. Because it started raining in the afternoon, they weren't able to finish everything that day, and Tim came back by himself the following Tuesday to finish the job. They worked very carefully and very thoroughly.

Excellent experience. Large house with several large windows had not been cleaned in the 5 years I've lived here. Tim Poly & his crew spent 2 full days doing the job right. Tim pointed out that my old metal screens had left quite a bit of residue over the years. He used steel wool & worked all day Sunday in order to complete the job before my scheduled move the next day. He also honored the Angie's List discount for a new customer.

Excellent job. Tim left an estimate right after calling and set up the appointment very quickly. All of the work was done exceptionally well. I recently purchased the home and the screens and windows looked as though they had not been cleaned in years. I felt comfortable leaving Tim in my home, left for work and when I came home everything was beautiful, all furniture put back in place and windows were sparkling. Will definitely use Tim's services again.

They did a really good job. I had been looking to get my windows professionally washed for some time now and I chose these guys since they had a very reasonable price and I had heard good recommendations about their work. They did exceptional work, my windows are spotless.

Walking my usual route home from work one day, I suddenly noticed a neighbor's house. Wow, what have they done - it looks fantastic. I learned that Dr. Glass had recently cleaned their windows. We had had our windows cleaned by a different firm - they had done a good job and cleaned up after themselves and we were pleased. But after seeing the Dr. Glass house, I realized they had enjoyed a completely different level of window cleaning. Tim Poly, owner, came when he said he would to give us an estimate and schedule the job. He was friendly and professional, efficient, careful, and very particular. Nice to have around. Had a systematic approach and special equipment, even wore shoe coverings inside the house. Knew how to open old windows and access difficult to reach spots. Left everything spotless. Now when I arrive home, I enjoy MY sparkling house. It looks great from the outside, but I especially enjoy my clean windows from the inside.

I emailed the company and Tim Poly, the owner, replied the same day to set up an estimate. He came by the next day and left us an estimate for all the windows and glass doors in the house (over 40). His team of 3 people arrived for the job right on time and were very pleasant. Tim came in the afternoon to help finish up. They did an excellent job and we had some very high and difficult to reach windows. We will definitely use them again.
