Dr Glass Window Washing

They were very thorough. There were two guys outside and a gal on the inside doing the cleaning. The owner of the company even stopped by because I had some special windows that would need a special ladder and he did that job himself. I have a lot of glass in this house and they did the job in about four or five hours. They never stopped. They kept right on working. They were very polite. I will use this company again. For what they did, I thought the price was very reasonable.

I chose this company because he was one of the only people to follow up on my estimate request. He stayed within his original estimate. He did the work efficiently. He did a thorough job. I would recommend Mr. Hawthorne.

Tim Poly showed up as scheduled to provide an estimate. They were not the least expensive, but immediately impressed us with the completeness of their quote, including references. Tim called the night before the work was to be done and set clear expectations for how the work would be performed, who would perform the work, arrival times and other details. The next day was like clock-work, they arrived on time and did an outstanding job. They didn't rush through the job, which took nearly 4 hours from beginning to end.

They did an excellent job. The had a team of 3 people working on it. The windows had probably not been washed for close to 15 years. I would recommend them to others as I think the price was fair for what all they had to do. It was a very good job.

It went well and I was very pleased. They went work and it was evident that they had a system from start to finish. Mr Poly came for a couple of hours to finish. The sunroom windows were the biggest job. They suggested that I have those windows cleaned more often due to the tree residue.

I have hired many window cleaning companies in the past, but none as good as Dr. Glass. This was my first time using the company. The owner himself did the work and did a phenomenal job. The windows were spotless-I have never seen such clean windows! He also cleaned all of the aluminum frames around the windows and sliding glass doors. With regard to professionalism, he showed up exactly on time, was very courtesy, and was very neat. I had brand-new carpeting in the condo, and he was careful about taking off his shoes, etc., to ensure that no dirt got on the carpet. Because of my great experience using Dr. Glass, I hired the company again to clean the windows a few months later after some construction had been done on the exterior of the building. The construction company left a great deal of construction dust all over the windows. Once again, Tim Poly showed up on time and did an exceptional job. This time he charged $120 (the normal rate for this size job). He originally charged only $90 because of an Angie's List coupon which he gives out.

We were very happy with Dr. Glass. Our windows were very overdue and dirty and the team came in and made them look like new. Absolutely professional the whole way through, punctual and friendly. Went way above our expectations, when dealing with some difficult storm window situations. Very pleased. Very highly recommended. The price may seem high when calling around, but the project is hassle free, no "nickel and diming", work is superior and we thought they really went the extra mile to get the job done right.

This was a superb experience, top rank. They came when they said they would come. They charged the price they said they would and they did a good job. I plan to use them again.

It went really well. I called them and they got back to me right away to book the appointment. They came when they said they would be here. They told me I would not have to move anything. They took care of that. They did break my window but they came and told me and are having it fixed at there expense.

It was wonderful! Dwight introduced himself, inspected the windows and gave me a price in writing before beginning. The actual price was slightly cheaper than the estimate I got over the phone, so that was great. The other gentleman started washing the outsides while Dwight scrubbed the screens. Then Dwight followed him and did a second wash. Boy, did those windows need it! When they came inside, they wore booties over their shoes. They moved the furniture and let me sneak behind the couch and vacuum after they moved it away from the windows. I game them a B in price only because you can probably get someone to wash windows cheaper. However, I don't think you'll get anyone to do it the way they did. I will only use them. My screens are so clean, I thought Dwight forgot to put them back up. (Really!)

Vendor was very responsive; gave a clear outline of how the service would be done; scheduled it at my convenience; service was on time and performed as described; I received a follow up call to ensure I was satisfied. The windows definitely sparkled upon completion.

"Doctor Glass" aka Tim Poly responded to my email query within 24 hours and came the same day to do an estimate. His pricing came in at about double what I had paid from a competitor the last two years, but he distinguished the quality of his team's work and how they go about the cleaning. He said they will come back and redo anything I am not pleased with, and they guarantee customer satisfaction. Desperate to see out of my windows again, I contracted for the service. We agreed on a date and a team of four showed up on time as expected. They worked all day (compared to 3 hours for a team of two from the former competitor firm I had used) and the windows truly shine. The team was courteous, moved and replaced all furniture and knicknacks. Dr. Glass even inquired what position I preferred to have the screens and storms in to allow fresh air or not before the team left. They did a great job, top to bottom and they take their work seriously. The team also worked well together and planned their work well. We have a large picture window and Dr. Glass and another team member handled that personally to ensure it didn't break.

I decided to work from home on the day of service. They showed up at the agreed upon time and started promptly. It was a big job and there were some moments where we all were not sure if they would be able to reach the higher windows. But they were determined and had good teamwork, so they got the job done. It was an all day event, but the windows looked great. I highly recommend this company.

They came promptly and set to work quickly. Each person had a portion of the job that they were to do. Every screen was removed and cleaned and also the interior window sills. It took three people part of the day and two the last half of the day. I highly recommend them.

I called and spoke to Tim and he scheduled one of his teams to take care of my request. Dwight's team was due to arrive about 9:00 a.m. I looked out the window about 8:40 a.m. and I saw their truck and they were beginning to unload their ladder, etc. Dwight introduced himself and I gave him a tour of the house and all windows. He wasted no time and his team went into action. They were very polite, courteous and just really pleasant. They did a fantastic job, they were very efficient. I plan to call them next year to come back and repeat their magic to ensure that our windows are kept in good order. I wish to thank Dwight, Eddie, Carmen and Emily for their good work! Tim Poly called me after the job to make sure that I was satisfied. I was sorry that I hadn't reached him first! He can be very proud of the people he employs. I will definitely use their services again.

Our windows are rather old and we had just completed some outside work on our home, so our windows were quite dirty. Dwight and his assistant worked hard to get each window spotless and were even able to open some windows that had been painted shut. We were very pleased with the results.

Contacted Dr. Glass via email after reviewing Angie's List. Tim Poly contacted me the following day to discuss requested work and available times. He discussed approx. estimate over phone, then followed up with home visit within 3 days for exact estimate. Tim was very professional, provided full explanation of the process he uses and the amount of time spent for an excellent outcome. He offered a service date within 2 weeks or less of confirming job. On day of service, 5 staff inclusive of a working supervising leader arrived on time. Staff brought complete supplies and ladders. All staff were professional, worked quietly, were organized and respectful of all belongings in the house. They used shoe coverings to protect interior of home and returned all furniture moved to access windows. Tim Poly, owner had phoned during the day to check in with customer, confirmed staff who were assigned to do the work and whom to speak with if I had any questions or concerns. Prior to completing job, I was asked to review work. One storm window frame was noted to be missing a screw and storm window could not be put in. Supervisor offered to come back and reinsert when frame was fixed. Windows looked excellent!!!

Overall a great experience. I'll hire Tim and his crew again for sure. Punctual, professional, proficient, polite. Showed true concern about doing the job right in spite of the extremely hot day.

Tim Poly answered my calls quickly, performed a free estimate the next day, then set up an appointment for my earliest convenient time. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Crew arrived on time as promised, worked all day, got most done & then it rained. Tim came back first thing the next morning to finish the job and to re-check all the windows for rain spots. The windows look better now than when we moved in 13 years ago! We will use Tim again and highly recommend him to anyone who appreciates fine work and fine service!
