Dr Glass Window Washing

Very satisfied. Technician closed and locked all windows and also lowered the blinds before he left.

It went very well-there were 2 people, one who came earlier, and the other about 2 hours later. All screens were removed first, then the windows were cleaned on the inside first, followed by the outside. They were very neat and finished the job in 7-1/2 hours. The windows look fantastic, and it makes a huge difference in the house!

I called and the owner, Tim Poly, answered. He said he could give me an estimate within a couple of days, and I didn't have to be home. He came over exactly when he said he would, and I was in fact, home, so he rang the doorbell and gave me information about Dr. Glass and the quality of their work along with his written estimate and a range of times when the work could be scheduled. After showing the estimate to my husband, I called the office and was able to arrange an appointment within two weeks. The date was my choice. Mr. Poly told me what time the crew would arrive. I didn't need to do anything. They came right on time. Later in the morning Mr. Poly came to assist the crew because he said he had underestimated the job and he didn't want his crew to have to work longer hours. He stayed about two hours, I think. I said I would pay the difference (the issue was that I have removable mullions which makes the job harder), and he would NOT let me pay more. He just said he hoped I'd be happy with the job and we'd worry about the cost if I rehired him, which I plan to do! The crew as extremely polite and professional. And the work was first rate. They are very, very careful. There was no dripping. They left zero mess inside the house and the windows are SPOTLESS. They told me that they use special towels that don't leave any lint and very, very fine steel wool to erase any smudges. I thought the crew was FANTASTIC. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to get my windows cleaned once a year now, because the difference is amazing.

Tim Poly answered the phone on my first call and came by that same day to do an estimate. He emailed me the estimate the next day and followed up a couple of times while I was waiting for other estimates to come in. He gave me an Angie's list discount as well as an additional discount after a couple of weeks of waiting. On the day of the service, his assistants showed up to do the job on time and were very courteous and professional. Excellent experience overall.

Overall, it went very well. Tim gave me an estimate over the phone and we were able to set up a time that worked perfect with my schedule. Since Tim was going out of the country, he sent Otto, who was professional, friendly and thorough. When Tim came back to the states, he phoned me to follow up on my service and ensure everything was done to my satisfaction.

Tim did an excellent job of summarizing the work that would be done and his selection of Nathan to do the job (since Nathan was an expert in working with my type of windows). Nathan arrived right on time and was a pleasure to have in the house. He worked neatly, quietly, and completed the job with no delays or problems. My windows hae never been cleaner! Nathan advised that I get them washed every year, and I will definitely call Tim again next year to have this done.

Otto was sent out. He was punctual and fastidious in his work.

I contact the owner, Tim Poly, and explained over the phone to him the windows in my house. Later that day he e-mailed me an estimate. We set a date for the cleaning. The gentlemen who came for the job were on time, efficient and professional. They are a little pricey but so tremendous work.

They are very professional, responsive and punctual. They answer all my questions and do a very thorough job. I have been very satisfied with their service.

Dr. Glass did a very high quality job. The windows had not been cleaned for at least 5 years. In addition the windows were often sprayed by in insect prevention company to prevent insects from getting into the house via the windows. That made the sills and the bottom glass portion of the windows very dirty. Mine was the only home that Dr. Glass worked on that day. He was very meticulious. As a customer I appreciated that he had only planned on doing my house. I did not feel like he was rushing through to get to the next job. As I am typing this report I am also looking out one of my very clean windows and enjoying the view of the oak tree in my back yard. It was amazing how much better things looked to me through clean windows and screens. Dr. Glass was extremely accomodating in scheduling the cleaning. We had a couple of rain delays before the work was actually done. Dr. Glass worked closely with me to find a suitable time after mother nature caused her delay.

The overall experience was great. We will certainly use this company again and likely use them on an annual "spring cleaning" routine. The cost was a little expensive, but I didn't check with other companies for price comparison ... maybe that's just the going rate for window washing these days. Also, there was a cancellation for the week I called and we were able to slide into that spot, otherwise, I believe it would have been scheduled for a week following the call. I would still use them again.

The owner took my call and provided an estimate over the phone. I also received a writen e-mailed estimate, and the reference that I called was very complimentary of his work. I did receive 2 estimates for the work; I ended up going with this company even though their estimate was higher, mostly because of the professional helpful attitude of the owner. The other glass cleaning company dismissed the film on my windows right away to broken seals, but this company at least described another cause that COULD be the problem and seemed to be willing to work the issue. He arrived right on time, and explained about the film which could possibly be caused by broken seals. This apparently was the case, as the film could not be removed. The owner wore covers over his shoes so he wouldn't track dirt into the house, which was very nice. Overall I'm satisfied but disappointed in the broken seals (not his fault!) I must say, the other windows in the sun room look great. I've tried cleaning these windows on my own before and it took forever as they were very heavy and I usually gave up after doing about 3 or 4 of them. But these guys were done in 2 hours. It was a satisfying experience overall.

The window cleaner showed up 15 minutes early, did an excellent job with both the windows and the screens. He was extremely careful with the screens. Other times, window washers have bended the frame and left holes in my screens. Each window was thoroughly cleaned inside and out and the window sills were wiped clean. He was efficient and yet took enough time to do the job right.

Otto arrived right on time and did not stop until job was complete. Job took about 4-5 hours. Very professional leaving no sign that he was at my home, other than the clean, shining windows. The owner Tim, kept in touch from begining to the end, and made a follow-up call to ensure that we were satisficed with the service we received.

My experience with them was very satisfactory. The quality of the job done, cleaning things up, not making a mess, and being pleasant, all together made it a satisfying experience.

Came on time, did a fantastic job (sparkling windows), and even came by to check on the job when I had a question. Best customer service ever and very good price.

Upon completion the glass was spotless and clear. I never it would be possible to get them so clean after not having been cleaned for three years. The entire house was brighter. I would recommend Dr Glass and intend to have yearly washings from them.

Tim was prompt with his estimate which seemed quite reasonable. He and his crew were here when promised and did a very thorough job cleaning our windows inside and out. Glass, sills and screens were all cleaned thoroughly. They offer a 10% discount to Angies List members. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Tim called me back right away and was in quick email contact also. Within a short time he was here to look at the house from the outside to access the work. He drew me up an estimate and the price was reasonalble so I booked it at a convenient time for me. He emailed me the night before to confirm their arrival. His assistant showed up a bit earlier than expected, but that was fine. They wore shoe covers in the house which I thought was very caring of their quality of work. He came across a problem with my windows due to the old siding and showed me what the problem was. He assured me if it caused a problem after he left, he would return and take care of it. They thoroughly finished the job in about 5 hours (took longer than thought since his assistant was called away for a family issue).

Excellent. We just moved into this house and we needed some help installing the screens in the windows. Even though it was a small job, Tim was happy to come and get it done. He was pleasant, professional and offered good advice. We plan to call him again to have the windows washed after the pollen clears the air.

We were very impressed from our initial telephone conversation. We scheduled a date for an estimate and Tim arrived right on time. Our estimate was very detailed with Tim explaining the options available given our diverse collection of windows. Once we accepted the estimate a schedule for the work was proposed, weather permitting. On the evening prior to the scheduled work date, Tim called to confirm and tell us what time Otto would arrive to begin the work. Otto arrived promptly the next morning and explained to us in detail how he would complete the job. He then went to work in a VERY professional manner and in less than 5 hours our windows were sparkling clean and our house was completely undisturbed. We will certainly call on Dr. Glass again and highly recommend them to anyone who wants good value for their money and brilliantly clean windows.

From start to finish the experience was exceptional. On time, Nelson and Jose were very neat and careful. They did the inside of the windows on Thursday and because of rain, came back on Saturday to finish the job. I plan to use them again next year. Also, I received a discount because I am an Angie's List member. Great work!!

Everything sparkled, and the glass in the skylights was so clean that it looked as though there was no glass there. I have never, ever had such a wonderful job done on any house that I have had. Tim was immediately responsive over the phone, scheduled us quickly, and then did an incredible job. We were preparing for an open house, and I'm sure that the sparkling clean made a difference in how the house showed. Thank you, thank you, Tim, Otto and Carmen.

Tim was on vacation but his crew came to do the work. He came to the house after he returned from vacation to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. The windows sparkle and it is obvious that Tim takes enormous pride in his work and reputation. If it works within your time frame, make sure that Tim can be on the job when your windows are washed.
