Great company. Responsive from first contact to follow-up phone call to see if I was satisfied with the job. And I certainly was. The best thing was that Tim, the owner, didn't hesitate to give me a price for what was, comparatively speaking, a very small job. My husband and I had washed the inside and outside of the first-floor windows and the inside of the second-floor windows--but neither of us wanted to go up on a ladder. In stepped Dr. Glass, and our windows are all clean for the first time in about 10 years.

Alan came at 10:00 in the morning to begin. He had planned to leave by 4:00. Since the job was much more than he anticipated, he stayed until 9:00 that night. As we were having my mother's 90th birthday party here the next day (about 40 people), he came back early the next day to finish the job. I never saw windows sparkle the way they did when he finished! He took such pride in the job (well deserved!!!) He could not have possibly done any better job. It was truly amazing, the difference between the start and finished job. Even though he worked all those hours, he still wanted to charge me the estimated price $260. I paid $600 for the job and feel that it was worth even more. I talked to Tim afterwards and said that I wanted them to come twice a year. Tim suggested that they do the outside twice, but only once a year for the inside. They are the most hard working and honest company that I have ever dealt with!!!

Tim was very easy to work with to make the arrangements. He was very courteous and clear. He patiently explained the options. I suggested reducing the number of windows to get the price within my budget and he agreed to that and sent me a revised quote right away. The scheduling of the job itself also went very smoothly. It rained early morning on the day of the job. The person assigned to the job, Otto, called me and when I confirmed that the rain had stopped, he gave me an estimated arrival time and he stuck to it. It was even within the range of start time I had agreed on with Tim. Otto got right to work. You could tell he enjoyed his work and took pride in it as he was explaining a few things to me. Otto finished the job within the time expected. Tim gave me a follow up call later and I was happy to report that the windows were cleaned to my satisfaction.

I must mention that the workers failed to show up when they were supposed to (because it looked like it was going to rain) and didn't call. But the owner was very responsive and adjusted the overall price to make up for it and the workers really did a good job and were so pleasant. Luckily I had been planning to be home that day anyway!

Everything went very smoothly, and I would certainly work with Tim again. Tim honored the Angie's List discount for first-time users, which saved me $30.00. The men arrived a little late from their prior job, but that was not a problem. I had been told an approximate time of arrival, so I was not planning to do anything else that morning, which explains the "B" rating for punctuality. I should say that my price did not include any screens, just windows.

This is an old, turn of the century house with many old and large windows to match. When I first called, Tim was very responsive, providing me with an estimate and putting me on the schedule within a weeks time. One person came on cleaning day, took one look at the job to be done and immediately said he might not be able to do the best job possible in one day and that it would probably take him two days. And it did. He was terrific, thorough and very pleasant to be around and he came back the next day still smiling! He did a wonderful job! This is a wonderful company!

Tim was very responsive to my email requesting an estimate. We scheduled the job right away. Tim later asked to push it out a week, which was OK with me. But then the cleaner was delayed beyond the agreed-upon time. That's why I graded this job a B in punctuality. However, Tim volunteered to give me a discount for the inconvenience, which was very gracious of him. Luckily, I was able to stay home all day anyway, so everything worked out timing-wise. The job was done by Jon and an assistant-in-training. To begin with, my windows were very dirty and the screens and storms were in random crooked positions. I was very pleased with Jon's success in re-jiggering all the window components so that everything is now in the right place. And the windows are now totally unbelievably sparkling clean. I strongly recommend this company for window washing, especially for those who have older houses with windows that are not in great shape in the first place.

I contacted Dr. Glass with an urgent need for window cleaning for selling my house. Tim Poly called me right away and emailed me a very reasonable estimate within a half hour. I was very pleased with what he said he would do, especially for the price - $390 with the Angie's list discount for windows and doors on three floor town house, including cleaning window sill screens, storm windows, etc. But he could not get to me for a couple of weeks. I scheduled the work, but sold my house in the meantime, and canceled the work.

I would strongly recommend Dr. Glass to clean your windows. When Jon arrived, he was professional and worked diligently to clean our windows. Because we are smokers, it was a daunting challenge for him. He even came back the next day to ensure that the windows wouldl sparkle (and they did!!!). There was no additional charge for this; simply attention to service and an effort to ensure that we were completely satisfied. We plan to use Dr. Glass every year and specifically request Jon. Great job!

We live in a "Deck House," which means we have lots of very large windows, some of which are quite high. First, Tim of Dr. Glass came out to our home to assess our proposed job, since ours is a rather unusual house, and to give us a price for the work. On the appointed day, Otto arrived to clean the windows. Using various ladders to reach everything, he did, without any doubt, the best job of window cleaning we have ever had done in the four years we have lived in this house. He was professional, pleasant, helpful and efficient. The result was sparkling windows at a reasonable price. What a very nice experience! We'll definitely have Dr. Glass back in September before our daughter's wedding!

Crew arrived exactly when they said they would. They were very professional and organized the cleaning to minimize disruption to our household. We have pets and we asked the crew to start in a specific room so we could put the pets in that room so they wouldn't "help". The cleaning was excellent - the windows seemed to literally disappear they were so clean. They also cleaned windows in the basement area which were very dirty and they came out sparkling. They were efficient and completed the job exactly when they said they would. We have used Dr. Glass McLean before and keep coming back because they are so professional and do such an excellent job for a reasonable cost. Would highly recommend them to anyone who wants clean windows professionally done.

Representative arrived on time and worked nonstop. Clearly, he was very experienced, especially with our older casement windows. What a difference clean windows make! He did a first-rate job, was very professional and pleasant. We plan to have them back once a year.

Dr. Glass did an excellent job. Tim came for our estimate the day I called, and the cleaning was quickly scheduled. The two-man team was polite, unobtrusive, very thorough, and did an excellent job. The windows are crystal clear, the sills clean, and the large porch screens free of dust and pollen! Tim came by to check on the job and do the fireplace glass himself. I have used other window services in the past, but none compare in efficiency and quality to the Dr. Glass team. I strongly recommend them to others.

They did a fantastic job and we were happy with the service they provided. While he was cleaning a window he bumped a towel rod and it fell down, he was very apologetic and told me he would take care of it with a handymen. I told him that my husband could take care of it, but I really appreciated their honesty. They are expensive, but I do not mind having them out because I have big tall windows. I plan on using them again this Summer.

Excellent. I could not have been happier with every aspect of the service. Tim, the owner (?), was very responsive and called to check on how things had gone. The two workers who washed the windows were excellent, efficient and professional. I highly recommend this outfit.

A single window cleaner arrived a little bit after the agreed upon time because he was unable to locate my house. It was the first time that I had used Angie's list for a window cleaner and was surprised that only one person arrived for the job. In the past, in a smaller townhouse and a comparable single family house, window cleaners that I have found on my own usually sent 2-3 people out on the job and were finished within a short time frame. With one person working the job, it took several hours the first day. And it was necessary to return on a second day because of weather complications and other apparently scheduled work. The company did provide a discount for the inconvenience of having to return the second day. In addition, I was not charged for the special treatment to remove the oxidation residue because it had not been part of the original quote. I did appreciate those adjustments.

I had used Dr. Glass last year. I called again and made arrangements for window cleaning. The price was the same as last year. The window cleaner arrived on time. He did a careful thorough job for a reasonable price and left without leaving a trace. This company does an excellent job and I will hire them again next year.

Based on a written estimate, Tim and I worked to find a mutually convenient appointment date which was set for Friday . He told me that Otto and Nathan would be on site Friday morning at staggered times and that they would try to work around the rainy day forecast. Otto arrived on time and wasted no time getting started. Nathan arrived within the 1/2 hour. After about 5 hours there were 3 windows left that could not be cleaned as the rain was coming down on them. We scheduled a follow up for them and the outside sill cleaning on Monday. Otto called Monday morning and came to finish the job. The outside sills was a pretty big effort, but Tim included it in the price as I had indicated its importance to me as part of getting the job done. In my head I offset the extra effort by the fact that it didn't appear he had included the $30 Angie's List Coupon in the price estimate. My windows are very clean and it was well worth the investment, although based upon one check with a neighbor who paid $6 per window the price might have been a bit high. Next time, when not pressured for time, I may get 2 estimates before I proceed. I certainly would recommend that if you want your windows washed that you talk to Doctor Glass. You will be pleased with the workmanship and professionalism.

Great job! I called Tim Poly and we exchanged info about my windows (number and type) and costs. We had scheduled a day and time but were forced to re-schedule a couple of times due to either weather (rain) or my schedule. The night before, Tim called and left a confirmation message. The crew arrived as promised and did an amazing job. I asked that they have Tim put me on their annual callback list because I'd like to have them come back next year.

This was the second time Dr Glass cleaned our windows. Otto, who did the work, showed up in the promised time frame, and had all the windows in our one-story house perfectly clean in 2-1/2 hours. I will certainly hire this company again and have recommended them to friends and family.
