Description of Work: we live in a large older home with lots of windows,old storms and screens etc.Tim gave a phone estimate based on my count which was inaccurate.He felt badly and wanted to split the difference,even though it was my mistake.The crew did an unbelievable job.All were very professional,clean,polite and easy to have around for the day and a half it required!I discovered one of the crew actually removing old ivy from the screens by hand....beyond the call of duty!Yes,I will definitely use them again!

+ -1 moreThis is now the third year that I have used Tim and his gang to clean my windows. Again, they did a fantastic job! The day that they were to clean the windows, they ran into some traffice and gave me a call to let me know that they were on their way and would be there soon. Once here, they survayed the work to be done and went right to work. They were quick, efficient, nice, professional and above all competent. I have already made arrangements to have them come back out to my house this spring. It is great to have clean windows done by a professional crew! I would recommend them to anyone.

It has made a dramatic difference, especially in our living and dining rooms. Tim called several days later to check on how we liked it, and whether all was done to our satisfaction. We will most definitely put Dr. Glass on our list of annual tasks/events to ensure we keep our beautiful views clear. Thanks again to him and his professional crew.
Description of Work: We purchased a house in Nov that had been used as a rental for the last 14 years, and probably had not had its windows washed in all that time. There were layers of dirt, crud, and hundreds of dead bug layers on the 1971-era windows and their accompanying storm/screen window coverings. Totally disgusting, and made even more so by the fact that the house looks out to a wooded area and has huge windows that are the focus of each room. I looked up the best rated window cleaner and called Tim, who attempted to give me an estimate based on my inexperienced count of windows (I did not know the difference between sash and non-sash or double paned, etc.). He was extremely patient, despite my phone cutting off every 5 minutes, and I ended up doing a separate count based on his advice, then emailed him. I had an estimate the very next day, , which included the Angie's List discount, and when I called him I lucked out and he had a cancellation two days later so I had my appointment right away. They came promptly in the morning on Friday (two gentlemen) and worked all day (it was a big job). It began raining near the end of the day, so they were going to come by on Wed to finish it up (they saved the outside until the end so if they had to stop early and return, they could do it without me having to be there). I was amazed to find out that they, in fact, had come by on Monday, earlier than promised, to finish it up. They cleaned the outside windows, inside windows, pulled off and washed down the screens and storm windows, and removed broken and damaged window clasps. They even scrubbed out the layers of dead bugs and debris on the inside sashes! The two gentlemen were extremely professional and polite, and we barely knew they were in the house cleaning during the day. They worked straight through and were very thorough.

+ -1 moreContacted Tim for an estimate. He wrote up and returned an estimate the next day. We wanted to try and get the windows cleaned quickly because we are preparing to sell our house. Tim contacted his crew and made arrangements to have them do the job on a Sunday! Luis and the crew arrived between 9-9:30am -- as scheduled -- and completed all the work by about noon. They were polite, friendly, and efficient. Most importantly the windows look fantastic! A great experience from start to finish.

The two gentlemen who arrived to do the cleaning were extremely professional and detail-oriented. They moved all necessary furniture and were careful to secure window treatments away from the windows while cleaning. They were very gracious about working around a crew working on my back deck on the same day. I'm thrilled with the results - the windows absolutely sparkle!

As it turned out, I was called to see if I wanted the windows done sooner, since they had a cancelations. I took the earlier appt. I knew what to expect because we used this company before. One man did the work. He arrived right on time and got to work. He was there approximately 3 and a half hours.
Description of Work: All of our window screens and windows were washed. The screens and storm windows were taken apart and cleaned.

+ -1 moreTerrific service from the 1st telephone call. Did a telephone estimate with follow-up mailed written estimate. Easily reached an agreeable date for the work. Due to circumstances beyond their control the team was late arriving, but I was kept aware of the delay and status by telephone from the owner, Tim Poly. The team, led by Jon Tyler, was terrific in every way - efficient, cheerful, skillful, and hard-working. They stayed until almost 7PM to finish since they had started later than planned. They even did several small windows I had not expected to be touched. Bottom line: The service is not inexpensive, but my wife and I are delighted with the outcome and believe it was worth the cost.
Description of Work: Crew of 3 cleaned all windows, inside and out, and all screens and frames. This is a large house with three floors, 5 bedrooms, and large areas of glass, including some difficult to access from both sides. No assistance or preparation required by the owners, and everything was returned to its original position.

+ 0 moreI called Tim Poly to get an estimate of what it would cost. In about 15 minutes I had an estimate of what it would take to clean all the windows in the house. Tim was friendly, professional, and courteous. I made an appointment for later the same week. Otto came out-was on time and very kind, professional, and courteous. He did a wonderful job on all the windows inside and out even in the cold weather. He was done in just a few hours and they all looked great. If I wasn't happy with anything he said he would redo it till i was happy. Very friendly people and customer oriented. Would definitely use them again! Great people.
Description of Work: We were getting our house prepped to put on the market. Windows needed to be cleaned on the entire house--inside and outside. A lot of windows in the house can make a huge difference in the way it shows when put on the market. All windows were cleaned inside and out--basement, main floor and second story.

As a result of that the company gave me a 10% discount on the price to make sure that I was satisfied. I would use them again. They did a good job.

+ -1 moreI contacted Tim Poly to get an estimate for window washing. He responded promptly with what I considered a reasonable estimate for the number of windows (26) that needed to be washed. Tim remained in contact over a period of time (about 6 weeks) that I was unavailable due to job, travel and family commitments. I am so glad that he continued to follow-up on my initial inquiry. Last week, we decided on a date and time. Tim called and emailed to confirm the appointment. Otto and Carmen arrived early and did a fabulous job! They were organized, efficient, meticulous and thorough. My windows sparkle! It is wonderful to look through glass that is so clean. Whatever window washing product they use leaves the house smelling fresh and and natural. (Not a hint of chemicals or amonia; how wonderful!) I will use Dr. Glass again in the spring to wash the windows in my sunroom. I highly recommend Dr. Glass and I thank Angie's List for the service provided to consumers.

+ -1 moreMy experience with Dr. Glass was outstanding. Tim Poly called me back within minutes of my initial phone call to Dr. Glass and provided an estimate by email within a day or two. We arranged for the window cleaning to be done the following Saturday afternoon. The two-person crew arrived exactly when promised, was friendly and efficient. They unobtrusively cleaned the interior windows, carefully moving drapery and furniture to have full access to the windows. Everything was returned to its proper place. The outside was done thoroughly as well. They even cleaned my outdoor light fixtures--desperately in need of some attention. In total, the job took approximately two hours. The increase in natural light was amazing, and the windows sparkled. I plan to have the windows cleaned at least once, if not twice each year from now on and will definitely call Dr. Glass. I can't imagine anyone doing the job better.
Description of Work: Cleaned the interior and exterior of 20 casement windows plus sliding glass doors and a storm door. Windows had not been cleaned for a few years, so they were quite dirty on the outside. I do not have storm windows and just one window and the sliding glass doors have screens.

+ -1 moreThe entire experience was exceptional. One call to Tim and within a few minutes an estimate was emailed to me. The team appeared exactly as scheduled for this two day job. They took exceptional care of our furniture and floors and shrubs and plantings outdoors. Nothing was bothered or damaged and everything that needed to be moved was returned to exactly the same location. This job wasn't easy as the back of our home is three stories tall and involved several Palladian type windows plus other double hung windows. Our windows and doors haven't looked this good since the house was new. We will use Dr Clean again and highly, and I do mean highly, recommend them to anyone wanting to see the world through brilliantly clean windows and doors.
