DC Pro Movers

The movers were professional and punctual. They called me 30 minutes prior to arrival to confirm. Their pricing was fairly expensive for some additional moving boxes I needed ($8-15/per box and tape). There was never an accounting given to me for the number of rolls of tape used. A few times I was told that I needed a box for an item or they would not move it unless I accepted responsibility for any damage. I guess I was surprised because I had a moving company move some of the same items previously with no box. I was disappointed with the small size of the truck. When I made the reservation, I asked for the largest truck which seemed to have been ignored. As a result, 2 trips were required to move all of my items, increasing the time, etc. They required payment prior to unloading my items, which they said was an estimate of the cost (however this estimate did not include the materials). The final bill, after the second trip, was about $450 additional. All in all, the service was good, punctual and they worked very fast. I would consider hiring again, however, I would definitely have additional boxes, tape and bubble wrap for items they advise you that require a box or they will not move them, to avoid the $380 charge in materials I "incurred."

This company is the real deal! They not only went above and beyond, but they moved fast and efficient and communicated well. This is from start to finish! Other companies came with word of mouth on price, but they were professional and sent me an actual quote and they did not go above that!
