Description of Work: We obtained bids from four companies to refinish the oak hardwood floors in four bedrooms/closets, hallway and stairs. Beaulieu Floors was the lowest price of the four (even after we added an extra finish coat beyond what the original quotes were based upon). Price, however, wasn't the primary reason we selected them. Louis (Louie) Beaulieu was the most responsive of the bidders and gave the impression that he had a personal stake in how well the job turned out. We even had a recommendation from a friend who had used one of the other firms from whom we obtained a quote, but we still chose Beaulieu. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work they performed and how well they controlled the inevitable dust. The floors turned out better than we had expected. We couldn't be happier. Based upon the refinishing quality, we elected to have Beaulieu install a broadloom carpet runner in the hallway and on the stairs. This, too, turned out beautifully. Louie spent considerable time and effort with us to ensure that we found the carpet style and color that we wanted. He went out of his way to obtain a particular carpet that we had seen at another dealer - customer satisfaction is his motto. We recommend Beaulieu Floors without hesitation and will use them again if the need arises.

Description of Work: The owner, Louis came personally to help us choose carpeting. He was personable, professional and explained everything in detail. Whatever he promised, he followed up on and on the date he stated. The worker who installed the carpeting was very careful, kept the area covered so as to keep things from getting dirty, etc. He finished in less time than they stated and we enjoyed having him in our home. Louis called to follow through to request an appointment to return to give the job a final inspection. We are very particular about who we deal with and would HIGHLY recommend this company. They exceeded our expectations.

The head of the company, Mr.Louis Beaulieu, skillfully analyzed the type of wood flooring that could be installed in my residence and that matched the color scheme I wanted. His three-man team was highly efficient as well as very flexible, and they finished the job within 4 days during a time convenient to me. I highly recommend Beaulieu Floors to anyone looking for a competent and trustworthy firm with a great staff and excellent products!

Description of Work: they installed beautiful Bruce engineered wood flooring, a butterscotch color which I love. They were efficient, serious, and experienced -- they pulled out all the old carpet in no time and installed the flooring plus moldings in 3 days! Luis is extremely professional as is his team; he communicated with me fully and accurately on products, price, and timing, and was patient in answering my questions and waiting for my decision on various issues. It was not inexpensive but the quality is high. (The only very minor issue was that the window in the second bedroom was cracked during installation and they did not tell me, however it did not matter as I was about to install new windows. I recommend them highly, and really love the flooring!
