The service went well. It became much more expensive than the $95 Big Deal because they said that I needed a new vinyl that pulls the door and I accepted it. I paid $400 more because they did stripping on top of the door too. Their punctuality was good.

When they replaced the springs they were smaller then the old springs, I could tell because of the screw indentations. So I asked why they were small and the tech said it was because they were new. Not really knowing anything about garage doors I believed him. Recently I had another garage door company come out to service the garage door because of the increasing noise since the old springs were replaced. The new company said that the springs were too small for the garage door and was putting a huge strain on the garage door opener. He said he could replace for about $300. I said I paid over $500 for these and they were the wrong ones. I called Avalanche and the owner was supposed to call me and have ignored my multiple phone calls to them asking if they were going to fix the issue their tech did incorrectly. Now my opener has been straining too and will probably need to be replaced. I would do it myself before I hired this company to do anything on my house again!

Door opener broke. They came out the same or next day — it was quick — and fixed it and all is still good. And was very nice.
