Description of Work: I have used the services of Arlington Heating and Air for three major installations. This one was for a new boiler for the radiator system in my daughter's house. All their work was professional and done within a day. They explained the operation of the boiler and its various switches and valves so even I understood it. The installers were polite and left the area clean and in order. | |I used Arlington twice before for major installations: A/C in my daughter's house and new central air, gas furnace, and water heater in my own house. I also had a yearly contract with them for maintenance of my system. | |Overall I am very pleased with Arlington Heating and Air. Their costs are on the high side, but in my opinion it was worth it for the quality of the equipment, installations, and service.

Description of Work: We used them for years, but the last few service calls they have left some part of the system off - first the furnace was left non- functional and then most recently, the air purifier was left off. In a house with an asthma sufferer, this was really bad since we assumed the purifier was on as it had been, and it wasn't! They also didn't appear in the time window we had been given. And if you have a maintenance contract, they don't call you to schedule the twice-yearly check-ups even though they say they do.

I apologize for your recent experience with Arlington Heating. Showing up late for a scheduled call with no notice is certainly unacceeptable and I would feel the same way if I had to wait around. I looked back at that day and it looks like Steve was stuck on a service call for almost 4 hours that morning. We can't say that we will never miss a time frame because things like this do come up, however, we can certainly guarantee a call ahead of time to let you know. Apparently that didn't happen in this case and it has been added to our training sessions with the office. As for leaving things off, I can't really explain that. Possibly ust human error. I see that we replaced the filter last fall, and the next step is turn the air cleaner back on. Again, I apologize if we made the mistake. In terms of calling for maintenance check ups, we certainly call or contact every customer with a maintenance agreement. These check ups are done throughout the year. If you would prefer check ups earlier in the season, we can set it up in our system so you are called earlier. I hope that you give Arlington Heating another chance to show you our dedication to superior customer service. We truly value the relationship we have and hope we can put this recent experience past us. Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything at all. - Tommy
