Darius Arod, using the company name Arlington Appliance Services, came to my house to fix a dishwasher. That never happened. He said it was fixed and not to run it for 24 hours? Really? I wrote the first check to Arlington Appliance Services and he said "that company doesn't exist", make it out to me personally. So I did, but after 24 hours and the dishwasher not working, only worse, I stopped payment on his check. Stay away and buyer beware!

The Technician Dorius came out to my rental property 9/4 . The first time he supposedly fixed the unit and started the dishwasher and left. He wanted 200 for Labor and 230 for the part. I agreed. Later that day the tenants of my property sent me a text message stating that water had leaked allover the floor/cabinet and that the dishwasher was definitely not fixed. I forwarded that message to Dorius and he came back a second time 9/8 to repair the unit. The tenants then sent me another text message stating, the unit was not fixed and the machine had the same message that popped up the first time before the tech came out. I again forwarded the text message to the Dorius. He did not respond that day. So I reached out to him the following morning. Initially he did not respond. I texted him asking if he would let me know if he would be able to repair the unit or should I call another tech. He responded that if I was going to do that he needed to get his part. I tried calling him, He texted he was unable to talk. When I finally did talk to him he stated "Maam you need to allow me to breathe" and that he need at least two weeks to fix the issue. I began to call around to see how long it would take me to get another unit. (Within the week.) I then sent a message to Dorius letting him know that I decided to replace the unit and I would allow him to pick up his part. No money had exchanged hands. He then starting texting me about getting paid for labor. I did not feel like this was fair. I now have a warped cabinet with a broken dishwasher that will now have a part missing. When I told him that I would have to contact a lawyer and see what my rights are he threatened me with putting a lien on my property. Dorius wanted me to return the part and he wanted me to pay $200 dollars or he wanted my whole dishwasher and $85. I suspected that he takes parts from old machines and sells them as if new. Buyer beware. Don't bother taking a chance with this technician its not worth the headache.

I can't give a review based on service as they were a no show. I spoke with someone and said i had a simple issue with my dishwasher and they said they could schedule me in 4 days. That seemed odd that there were no weekend apts. I also should have been concerned that all they asked for was my address and phone number. I asked if they needed any more information and they said no. Fast-forward to today where i took a half day to be available for the repair man and no one showed up during the 3-5pm time window. I finally called at 5 and the same person i spoke to(pretty sure it was the same person) first said i didn't have an apt scheduled and when i pressed him he claimed that i had claimed that I said I would call back. I never staid that as i wanted this simple issue fixed as quickly as possible. I repeated out conversation almost verbatim and he still claimed that it was my fault the apt wasn't confirmed. They need a better system to schedule and confirm apts. Perhaps an email confirmation would be helpful for both parties. So now i need to find someone to fix what should have already been fixed before thanksgiving.
