A Cleaning Service continues to provide the same quality commercial service it started nearly two years ago. The company regularly employs individuals with developmental disabilities in support of government run programs that assist these individuals with coaching and improved learning skills that equip them to become more independent. The company also provides specialized floor care which is performed semi-annually. The result is mirrored floors that last month after month with regular buffing. Quality control enhances the ability to address any issues before they get out of hand. This may be the reason why there is so little negative feedback. Daily checklists that are reviewed and spot checking of worker performance contribute to a smooth operation with minimal disruption. From a residential perspective, A Cleaning Service is absolutely the best. I have employed this company for many years and will continue to do so. The staff remains committed to performing outstanding service. They have never become complacent and continue to be attentive to completing the job as efficiently as possible. My home sparkles. I think it is the cleanest home in Woodbridge because of their attention to detail.

OK. The company offers good service and punctuality. There are decent for a light cleaning, but if you want a more deep clean, including dusting of blinds and furniture, you may need to pay more or lessen expectations. When I questioned the quality of the work, the owner was very responsive, but I did not see a great improvement in the next cleaning, so we have not used them since. Good in a pinch if you do not have time to clean.

They did a horrible job. They didn't sweep part of the stairs, they were incredibly dusty still. The floors looked like they dragged a dirty rag across it.

One cleaning person shows up and cleaned my single family home, adding nice touches like arranging any items left on the bathroom counter our the kids stuffed animals in a decorative way in addition to cleaning (it was like being in a hotel!). She was very efficient and did a great job. Our kitchen floor wasn't as clean and shiny as I had hoped when she was done (it's a a dark wood and hard to clean), but I'm sure that would be easily remedied if I used them more frequently. On top of that, she went above and beyond and did some vacuuming and dusting in the basement that wasn't in the original scope. I purchased 4 hours and she stayed slightly longer to get it all done. They were also very reasonably priced - I recommend them!

A Cleaning Service is a great value. They do a good job cleaning our 1600 Sq Ft house every 2 weeks. When something comes up and they (or we) need to reschedule or cancel, Beatriz gets back to me quickly. Over all very happy with their work.

They are dependable, honest and trustworthy. I have never had an issue with them; nothing ever broken or missing. When extra attention is needed in a specific area, I e-mail Beatriz and ask and voila, it is done. Her prices are extremely reasonable. In the past 3 years there was only one time they couldn't make it because the lead was down with a serious case of the flu. They contacted me and rescheduled right away. When I have asked to rearrange days or times they do their very best to appease me. NOT ONCE have they ever neglected to reset the burglar alarm. They are more reliable than my husband and I in that respect. AWESOME!!!!

This team does excellent work, everything is spotless. I recommend them often to others as well. The owner, Beatriz is especially responsive if we have any special requests. Try them out. If you hire them, you will not be disappointed!

These ladies were GREAT. They did a fantastic job on my apartment, even though they'd never been there before and it had accumulated quite a bit of dust because I'd been traveling a lot. I've tried out several different cleaning companies and always been somewhat disappointed. I'm so happy the search is over!

The two person team arrived at the time provided in the email. Unfortunately, I received the email the previous day, and did not have an opportunity to read the email regarding preparations, etc. Do read the email that is sent the day before service. The house was cleaned thoroughly, and the team cleaned more than I had expected (ex.,- hand held mirrors were cleaned, the oven door was cleaned). I would definitely recommend this company and plan to schedule another cleaning.

They came and worked quickly and efficiently.

A Cleaning Service has been cleaning our office space weekly for almost 2 years. Beatriz's price and responsiveness were so good that 2 employees (including myself) now get their homes cleaned every other week. Beatriz is a true professional who is easy to reach and maintains high standards for her crews. She came out to the office to see what was required before she quoted a price, and her price was very good. It was so good that I hired her to clean my home in addition to the office. The office is cleaned weekly. All 6 bathrooms and 3 kitchens are cleaned and mopped, as well as floors vacuumed, trash cans and shredder emptied, and surfaces dusted. The crew is conscientious about coming when employees are not working. My home is cleaned every other week by a separate crew. They do the same basic cleaning, as well as ceiling fans, mini blinds, baseboards and beds changed. If we want anything additional, we just leave a note and it is done. The crew comes at different times due to traffic, weather or other problems, so we gave them our key for both of our convenience. We have found them to be totally trustworthy. We have an elderly dog and they have no problems with him.

I have used A Cleaning Service for over a year. We love this team! Not only do they do a great job cleaning, but they are really nice to our dog (which is very important to us). The staff is very friendly and care a great deal about doing a thorough job cleaning. Oftentimes because of our work schedules, we have to change our cleaning day and/or time, and sometimes at the last minute. Beatriz is always flexible and responsive to our requests. This is extremely valuable to us and is one of the many reasons A Cleaning Service will continue to be our preferred Housecleaning Company.

It went great! Once the crew arrived, I left to go grocery shopping so I would not be in their way. I came home to a spotless house! It was nice to be able to place my shopping bags on a squeaky clean surface.

What can I say about this company that I haven't told every single one of my friends in the DC area in the last 3 years? This company continues to provide the single best cleaning service of any kind - and at the kind of price where you assume there MUST be a catch. No catch. The service really is that good, and at a fraction of the expense charged by others. I chose this company in early 2012 based on a lot of research into pricing and service. The high marks were well deserved. I had never hired a cleaning service before, other than a Groupon deal here and there. So you can imagine my surprise when I saw the quality of the first service! Our house sparkled. The couch cushions had even been vacuumed, and toothbrush holders cleaned. Over two years later, the service had continued to be top notch. Beatriz (owner) is also extremely attentive to requests for service, even at short notice. She personally responds to every email. We have been able to reschedule services with no problem. The staff is highly trustworthy and gentle with our kitties. You will not regret going with the best!

I recommend this company without reservation.

This is the worst cleaning service I have ever encountered- and I have used many. I spoke with the owner the weekend before service and was told the crew would bring their own supplies and products and would do a thorough cleaning of my house. On the day of service, two ladies came to my house and left it in worse condition than they had found it. They used paper towels to "dust," leaving paper residue over everything. They also knocked two different wall hangings off the walls (which they did not put back up) and left another completely crooked. They completely missed the back of my tvs (which were covered in dust), a few baseboards, the fronts of cabinets, window sills, and even one side table. And when I asked what they were going to use to clean my wood floors, the lady replied "water." I pointed out a few of the missed things to the ladies, which they quickly "cleaned," but it wasn't worrh my time to show them everythjng they missed, since I knew they would not be coming back. These women did a sloppy, careless, and unprofessional job cleaning my house, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I've been quite happy with this cleaning service. Both my husband and I trust Beatriz' crew...she's responsive when I email and reliable. Never had a problem with the crew, cleaning is great and good price. It's great to come home to a clean house.

We've used A Cleaning Service for a little over a year, for cleaning our house every other week. We have been very happy with them. They are extremely reliable and trustworthy, and do a good job of basic cleaning. I don't think we've ever had any breakage or had anything missing, and our house looks clean! For a while, we had four pets with us, and they were comfortable with all - which was great, because I was crating the dogs with previous services. Communication is excellent. We only had an issue once (and it was very minor) - but we just asked them to do things a bit differently ad it was done as we asked from that point on. Highly recommended.

I like the continuity of the staff. There is not a lot of people dropping in and dropping out. We have the same crew cleaning our house now for about probably two years. They know what we like. I like their sensitivity to our request and requirements and just worked out very well. They've been always very responsive.

Cleaned two to three floors of a large home each week. (Home has total of 5 1/2 baths, to give idea of size.) We unexpectedly lost our housekeeper, and were not sure if we needed one. We tried to manage our complicated lives with once a week cleaning, a dog sitter etc. We ended up deciding to get a close to full time housekeeper again, and thus stopped using this cleaning service . But A Cleaning Service was just excellent at what they did. They managed to keep a large house basically clean, with a once a week cleaning. Each week they did the two main floors and alternated weeks for cleaning the finished third floor and finished basement. They sent the same team of two workers each week, which was good; one of them spoke English quite well and communicated for the team. The head of the company, Beatriz, was professional to deal with and very responsive. The team sent to my home were also professional in their approach to cleaning, pleasant to deal with, on time, and thorough. On occasion small items (like plastic drinking cups in master bath) were misplaced, but on the scale of things, we thought they were quite good and I would definitely plan to call them in the future should the need arise. We used Angie's list to help identify this cleaning service and we were very happy with the result.

In several instances, I had to change or cancel the dates of service and the owner, Beatriz, was very helpful and professional. I appreciated that she gave us a price estimate and set up our service based on our phone conversation. In addition, A Cleaning Service does not require a first extensive cleaning like a lot of other companies. I found the company's charges to be much less than some of the national chains.

I used them for about 6 months and they were amazing. They were fantastic. They were like a cleaning force. They will tear it up and be done. I have a two-bedroom apartment and they would knock it down and be done in an hour and a half. They would wipe the walls, scrub the kitchen and bathroom. They will really scrub the grout, the tubs, the toilet, everything. I didn't expect that kind of cleaning. They were just really amazing. They were also reasonably priced.
