Three women came to my house promptly at 11. They worked hard, thoroughly, and quickly for almost two hours and cleaned my four-story townhouse. (Basement and attic are half-floors, so it's the equivalent of three stories.) They dusted, vacuumed, and cleaned the kitchen, 2 bedrooms, living room, and 2 1/2 bathrooms. As it was a first time, I did not ask for anything special (except sweeping the porch), but I was satisfied with what they did and I will have them back on a monthly basis. I think, for the price, it would be hard to beat this cleaning service. I hope they keep it up every month! (And if they don't, I'll let you know.) I paid $90, because I had a $10 off coupon for first-time service for Angie's List Members. In subsequent months, I'll pay $100.

Overall, my experience was very much to my satisfaction.

The contacts all went well. We exchanged information and set up the apointment by email. All email was answered promptly.

So far, the arrangement is proving to be decent. The women who clean my home are efficient and courteous. They tend to be a bit late in arriving at my place and recently rescheduled due to the fact that they arrived so late on the assigned day. I also have to get them checking items off a checklist. I want things cleaned on a regular schedule in my home, and I think I am going to have to manage them to make sure that happens. The business does not seem to offer that service to me. So far the cleaners broke a tray on which my cats' water dispenser sits. It was an inexpensive, plastic tray; but it would have been nice had they pointed out to me that they broke it, rather than leaving me to find the damage.

Beatrix called me immediately and gave me a very good price for weekly cleaning. We set a date and time to begin. At 30 minutes late, I called her. She called me back 15 minutes later and said she would find out what was going on. 15 minutes later, I called her back. She said they were lost and would call me for directions. When they finally called, they were about an hour from my house (with traffic) -- I live in Kingstowne, they were in Old Town and said they didn't know the area well. They suggested coming after the weekend (it was Friday). I explained that wouldn't work since I had company coming that night and had wanted the house cleaned before they came. I told them I would not be needing their services. Beatrix called back and left a message saying, sorry, I can't help it if they got lost. Yes, she could have. When you take on a job, you make sure you get directions for your staff beforehand so that they do not get lost. I was very disappointed, but have hired someone else from the List.

ACS has been cleaning our house for about a year. They had the best price and do an awesome job. We are very happy with the service.

I used them once last week. The quality of their work was great for certain things, but no so great for others.

They give senior discounts on the price. I think they are very professional and they do a good job. They come on the day they are supposed to come though I can?t always count on the time; I think that is understandable. Mike, the guy that runs it, is very prompt in replying and keeping in touch.

Went great. They arrived on time, performed well and left the house much cleaner than it was before. I expect I'll call them again for an occasional deep cleaning.

They do basic stuff; they do floors and countertops, vacuum the house, empty the dishwasher, take out the trash and clean the bathrooms among other things. They do both upstairs and downstairs. They don?t do windows. They come out once every two weeks, and it is $100 a visit. We pay the company and they pay their taxes - it?s all on the up-and-up and legit. Their rates are very good. I don?t know anybody that gets more service for less, or service that is equivalent. We have some regular people that come, and they do a fantastic job. They?re always prompt and do everything that we ask them to do. I couldn?t say enough good things about them. They are absolutely fantastic. We love them the best. We have had nothing but the best experiences with them. I always recommend them to my friends. I would continue to use them in the future.

Pretty well, some weeks there are some short cuts. Some weeks the wood and tile floors are not done well, laeve a film. Do not always clean the shower completely

They spent about 2 hours at my house working quickly the entire time. They use their own cleaning supplies. I have two dogs and they worked with me to the maximum extent. Overall, the house looked great! This company is professional, responsive, trustworthy, and they leave your house sparkling! I highly recommend A Cleaning Service!

She is really flexible, she was very easy to reach. She did professional work. I would leave her the keys and I felt comfortable with that. I would recommend her to anyone.

The company covers the Metro area. The workers at least one of the pair will speak enough English to be able to communicate. I have used them for many years and will continue to use the housecleaning services. The work and their price is very good.
