A Cleaning Service

Very thorough with our split foyer, doing all lived-in bedrooms and three baths plus kitchen, living room, family room, office and dining room. Nothing left undone it seems. Even fold the towels and toilet paper like a hotel.

My experience was great! When I first spoke with Beatriz, we made an appointment to meet at my house for an onsight estimate and discuss the regular service that her company provides. Beatriz arrived on time and gave me a quotation that was within the range of other housecleaning services but because she was so personable, I decided to give her service a try for three reasons: cost, the same person would do the work everytime, the work could be scheduled on Mondays. Sonja arrived on time and gave my house a thorough cleaning. After she finished her work, she asked if I wanted to check things out but since I was there during the entire time, I didn't feel like it was necessary. Later, I did give my house a once over and was even more impressed with the care Sonja took like the way she folded the guest towels and that she moved papers and objects to dust/clean under them rather than around them. I called Beatriz today to thank her and to let her know that I planned to use her company in the future--on a regularly basis--and that I hoped Sonja would be willing to take on my account because she was professional, pleasant, efficient and did a fantastic job without needing specific instructions!

The deep cleaning went very well, they cleaned under all the furniture and found every dustball and dirty spot in the house!.

I am not sure why this provider receives an A. I contacted them via telephone 5 days ago, and they never even bothered to return my call. I cannot support nor provide good feedback on a company like this.

My calls with Beatriz were always returned promptly. She sent a representative to work up an in-home estimate which compared very favorably to the others. I was particularly impressed at the personal nature that the company seemed to have. After comparing estimates, we called back to schedule an initial cleaning. While the cleaner showed up an hour early, we were very impressed with the thoroughness and quality of her work. We will be scheduling regular cleaning with them going forward.

I chose A Cleaning Service based exclusively on the reviews on Angie's List. I was not disappointed. Beatriz was professional and responsive to my call. Her team did an amazing job. My house has never looked better. The price quoted was the best I received among other similar services. I would highly recommend this company.

.She arrived on time and brought everything she needed. She did a fabulous job. I can't think of anything that I wish she had done better.

I prefer to have cleanings on Saturdays and that is a little difficult to get from this company. Also, communication with the Beatriz was difficult. but once I got passed scheduling the appointment and getting the quote I was pleased with the cleaning. Carolina did a marvelous job so I would definitely want to use her again. I'm just hesitant to call because I don't know that I want to go through the cumbersome process of scheduling with the owner.

A Cleaning Service has been to the house several times - they have been prompt and courteous and always left the house clean and neat. They have also been good with my daughter and the dog, too.

Overall I'd say the cleanng was excellent although there were a couple times (throughout the year) when little things didn't get done. But then they'd do them the next time so I wasn't too concerned. And Beatriz was always very prompt with responding or dealing with any issues I had. I believe we had the same crew every week. We stopped using them for financial reasons but I will definitely be contacting them again when our circumstances change!

I love this company! They have been cleaning our house for months, and i have never had any complaints. They always send 2 or 3 people who are professional, prompt, courteous, and friendly. My dog even loves them. They clean things that other companies have refused to do, including cleaning my large wrap-around porch in the warm months, and my glass pendant lights in the kitchen (other companies said they could not clean the glass !!??). I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

After reading the reviews,I called this company a week before christmas to set up an initial cleaning date. I described my large home as 3 story with 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms and I was interested in possible biweekly cleaning if the initial job was satisfactory so she was aware this could be an ongoing account for he company. I told Beatrice we would only need 3 of the bedrooms done along with all the rest of the house (teenage kids in the other rooms).We set up an appointment towards the end of the first week in January at 11am well clear of the holidays and she confirmed via email (the best way to communicate per Beatrice) on Dec 26. After spending (wasting) my time "pre-cleaning" the night before and in the morning, I decided to send a email 90 minutes prior to our appointment reconfirming the time and giving my phone number if there was a problem. She reconfirmed OK via email at 10:22. At 10:43 she called to say there was a major problem with the vehicle and could we reschedule. Really? I was still willing to look at rescheduling, when in the course of a call back conversation I realized she was sending me, and had always planned on sending me, ONE PERSON! Yes, ONE person for a initial DEEP CLEANING of a 3 story 4 bathroom 3 bedroom home. Now, I dont know about you but I don't have all day to have someone cleaning my home, and I had some concern for her poor employee. My home is not filthy or cluttered. But I don't care how good you are, if it generally takes 3 people 3 hrs to do a good job cleaning a large home they don't know initially, it is going to take one person at least 6 hrs and they will be tired. This whole situation showed poor planning and judgement on her part and was a big waste of time for me. I could have had a clean home by now. Learn from my mistake and think twice before attempting to use this company.

A Cleaning Service has cleaned our 4 bedroom home several times and they do an excellent job! They are very professional and very detailed. I also have been using this company for approximately 5 years to clean our corporate apartments and I am very happy with their services. I whole-heartedly recommend A Cleaning Service!

We discontinued use of an earlier housecleaning service due to the price. A Cleaning Service quoted us at $85.00 (for a 2 story, 2 BR, 1.5 Ba) and did a wonderful job. Am convinced that there's no better-priced service in DC. Only critique is that the company would benefit by upgrading some of their media/payment infrastructure. They have no website, and the phone number on Angie's List is incorrect. They have no ability to take a credit card number securely, which will be a deal-breaker for some. We made them a spare set of house keys and had no security problems/concerns.Overall, great. We used them every 2 weeks.

We communicated entirely by email (more convenient for me) and I was able to pay via credit card. Everything was very easily organized and the services were great. I was specific that the 'deep cleaning' I wanted first should really be all the dusting, oven cleaning, bathrooms, etc. They did a wonderful job and even got into the little corners around my windows as well as inside the fridge and microwave. They also did an excellent job with the 'regular cleaning' ($90) before we had guests. We can't afford to have them as regularly as we'd like but will probably continue the services every 4-6 weeks.

So far they've cleaned twice and both times they've done an amazing job! I had used another service prior to them that was more expensive, only had 1 person cleaning, and each time my husband felt it wasn't worth the money. After the first time A Cleaning Services came he noticed a difference and the price is very reasonable. Scheduling appointments is very easy through a phone call or email to Beatriz and they are very professional and polite. Thanks for the great recommendation Angie's List!

I was working from home and they came to the door, dog didnt even bark at them. They came in, asked if there was anything special I needed. I said no, then I went to work in my bedroom while they cleaned the bottom and middle floor. When they were done, they did the upstairs. Brought their own equipment, they could have used mine. They did everything, vaccummed all of the bedrooms and even made the beds. It's like they really cared about the house. Everythign was dusted and they even cleaned the inside the microwave, vaccummed the rugs, and everything. They let me know they were done, we talked for awhile and when they left I was very happy with the service.

We use A Cleaning Service to clean our home every other Wednesday, and began using the service approximately two months ago. I waited for a few sessions to go through with them before submitting a report because I wanted to be sure it wasn't just the first time that was excellent. It's been every single time that has been excellent. My husband has been trying to talk me into getting a cleaning service for years and I just wouldn't do it for a variety of reasons. Being too tired to do it and not having any time left in my day finally won me over so we researched cleaners on Angies list to find one that we thought would work for us. A Cleaning Service fit that bill. Affordable, realiable and professional. That's all I wanted. I got that and so much more. They clean areas in my home that I didn't even clean and frankly wasn't going to. Everything is where it belongs and I have absolutely zero complaints on the actual cleaning - my house is spotless and smells wonderful. We have two very large dogs and they tend to stink the place up. Every other Wednesday these ladies bring it back to life and get rid of the stink. We own a two story home with four beds/2baths. It's not a McMansion but it's a pretty good size home. They do everything but the inside of the refrigerator or the inside of the stove. My products or theirs, or I could go green. I preferred to keep using Bona Floor cleaner on my floors vice the product the team used which is not a problem. I set it out on Tuesday evenings and when they are done it all goes back into the cupboard. When we researched cleaners we saw a lot of companies gettting dinged for not puttng a vase back in the right spot, or a lamp had been moved and not put back. On the first cleaning service with this company the ladies didn't get a chair back in the exact right spot - and I don't care. They moved it to vacuum under it and didn't get it exactly right when they put it back. So what, I took five seconds to square it that evening and all was right in my house again. I can tell you I was more happy to see it moved so that I knew it had been cleaned under than upset about the fact that it wasn't exactly right. Now that I have this service I wouldn't trade it for anything. I highly recommend A Cleaning Service to anyone out there. You will not be disappointed with the service and the professional treatment

Had A Cleaning Service come out and do an initial cleaning. Scheduling was very fast. Cleaning was a bit more since our house has not been cleaned in some time. They came when scheduled and cleaned before I got home. I was happy with the service. I have rescheduled them to come out monthly so the house does not get so messy. This will cost 100 dollars in future sessions. I have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with 3 floors.

They sent one lady here and she did absolutely nothing that we talked about during the initial estimate. I waited a couple days before I called because I didn't want her to lose her job. I called Beatrice, the owner, and was upset that I didn't call right away. She sent two more ladies about 2 weeks ago. They did a really good job. They were supposed to come back yesterday, but nobody showed up. I realize I should have called right away, but I really wanted to think about it first. I even gave the first lady lunch. Beatrice said that she would send her back, but I didn't want her to come back. I thought the amount of work I was wanting done was quite a bit of work for one person. I have had both my knees replaced and I have a bad back so I am physically unable to do the cleaning I would like done. I spent $90 on cleaning that wasn't done, and it would be $70 each additional cleaning. She offered to take $30 off for the next cleaning, and ended up doing the 2nd cleaning for free and then the next cleaning would go back to the $70. However, nobody showed up.

They do a very good job. They are very punctual. They are very attentive. They are very reasonably priced. They are very responsive. They charge $85 for every two weeks. I have scheduled their service for two weeks from this past Thursday. I would use their service in the future too.

I was impressed that the cleaning crew arrived early. It just so happened that my doctor's office called that morning and asked that I come in for an appointment, so their punctuality was greatly appreciated. The crew immediately began to work and completed tasks that often some other mediocre companies do not. I have had a very difficult time in the past securing a cleaning service that fits my needs and expectations. A Cleaning Service SURPASSED those! The crew paid immaculate attention to detail and dusted every single piece of furniture and knick knack in my home. Not only were they thorough, they were efficient. A Cleaning Service is the only service I plan to use from here out!

I think their prices are very reasonable. They are thorough and professional. Also, they are always on time, which I really appreciate. I have no problems leaving my home to walk my dog while they work, because they are so trustworthy.

I called approximately one month prior to my appointment to set up a cleaning. Since I would be out of town for one month, the representative was kind enough to go ahead and set up biweekly cleaning and quote a price over the phone. The cleaners (two, a man and a woman) showed up exactly on time on the scheduled date. They were pleasant, professional and did a great job. The condo smelled nice and everything was gleaming when they finished. I am definitely using this service in the future. I highly recommend!!!!!

It was a good experience. I was quoted for $85.00 for the bi-weekly cleaning, but they didn’t tell me it would be $100.00 for the initial cleaning. They did a great job, and they were on time and professional.
