 + 2 moreHe's not the cheapest in town (not the most expensive either) but he is absolutely the most responsive and detail-oriented contractor we've ever dealt with. Always on time, clean, and the only contractor we have ever given a key to our home and not worried. We've done a lot of work on our house and twice chosen other contractors based on price and both times regretted it. Now anything we can't do or don't have time to do ourselves, we go to Maurice. He's the best!
Description of Work: Over the past 5 or 6 years we have had Maurice remodel 2 of our bathrooms, a laundry room plus install some exterior doors and change a double door to a bifold door for the closet in our daughter's nursery. He and his team have scraped and skim coated ceilings, removed wallpaper, painted, removed flooring/subfloor and installed tile (even slate, which can be a pain). He has modified our piping to install new shower/bath hardware (including a rain shower in our master bathroom), he has moved walls and toilets to make our bathroom seem bigger, and has facilitated purchases with other suppliers like custom glass doors for our shower. He has helped us with design and budgeting and even purchasing materials.

 + -1 moreMaurice showed up everyday until job was finished. Stayed on task and worked quietly without chatter. Pricing was reasonable and he could be creative with problem solving.
Description of Work: Kitchen remodel. Knocked out 2 walls and installed cabinets. Did plumbing and some electrical. Drywall repairs and some tile work.

 + -1 moreOverall, it went well. We are pleased with the end result. The only disappointing part of it was the final touches, they were not too great at this. They were very busy at the time and they did not finish some trim and quarter round on the floor. Prices were a bit high.
