JES Foundation Repair

Mike Burgess visited us and after we explained what we were concerned about, he thoroughly inspected the crawlspace and beams and joists that may have contributed to the problem. His conclusion was that the foundation was in great shape and that the problem was simply seasonal shifting. I think the sign of a reputable company is their honesty, particularly in something dealing with something like foundation issues where he could have made up problems for his team to come and "fix". I would use JES again in a heartbeat.

Salesman/expert indicated need for a 70’ drain, a sump pump and other costly items. The installation crew showed me that I didn’t need almost half of what was originally recommended.

The only complaint is there was a lot of mud. One of the workers stated they were contractors not cleaners.

Team was very professional and work was completed in a timely manner. Team also cleaned the area that they repaired!

Personnel were punctual and pleasant. Checked in with us and kept us verbally informed of work accomplished. Work completed in a timely manner. Pictures of work were provided.

The work was completed when they said it would be done. James Monell and Kenny Tanks showed up right on time and performed excellent work. They were able to lift concrete to allow drainage away from the house and align the sidewalk with the stoop which was nearly 3” out of level. Highly recommend.

Work site was kept extraordinarily clean. Completed job was beyond expectations; very well done. Get these young men to do your crawl space encapsulation and you will be as pleased as we are.

Inspector laser measured the surrounding wall and foundation. Found no underlying concerns and recommended an inexpensive repair (honest, experienced and responsive..thank you JES

The system was installed on April 29th. We had a heavy rain on April 30 and the system did the job. There were a couple of very minor leaks that were resolved by Derrick with a final inspection on May 8th. The work was performed in a sub basement (no problem with our actual basement)

went fine, but the time was 8:30-10:30 and he got here at 0945. He did call to say he would be an hour late.

Great! Derrick Schmidt was wonderful. Found a problem with the dehumidifier and showed me photos of the problem. He was able to replace it at the time he was here. Problem detected and problem solved. Great work!!!

They arrived on time, completed as estimated, answered all my questions, and were very profrssional.

Everything went great. They thoroughly explained the process and costs ahead of time. Once they began they found asbestos we didn’t know we had and had to stop working. Even though it’s not a service they offer they were able to help us find a company to remove the asbestos and once it was removed they quickly started working again and got the job done very fast.

They finished, cleaned up their work area and asked if we had any questions. Everything went well. A great company to deal with.
