Mario came out to give me an estimate the same day I called him. He was extremely professional and gave me a written estimate on the spot. After I agreed for them to do the work, they began the job within a matter of days and completed the work in a timely fashion. They protected the plants around the house so there was no damage to them, they cleaned up very well when they were finished, and they addressed a couple very minor concerns I had promptly and thoroughly. All in all, a very good experience and I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to others.

They were wonderful. They went a little above and beyond. They were on time and very courteous. They treated my stuff with care. The are really nice guys, class act.

From beginning to end, Solution Painting exceeded our expectations. They were prompt, professional, and we would definitely recommend them for your painting needs. For us, the company painted two bedrooms, one bathroom, and one hallway. In the process of performing the work that we had agreed upon, they also repaired water damage, and other damage, to our walls-which are more than 60 years old. Now, our place looks wonderful. We could not be more pleased. Also, Solution Painting used Duron Genesis paint, which is odor free! Though the paint colors we had selected were not Duron paints, Solution Painting was able to match the paint colors that we had selected with Duron paint. That was quite helpful. We highly recommend Solution Painting.

Mario returned my call the next day and was out to give me an estimate within 24 hours. The painting crew arrived within 2 days. They were all in uniform, very pleasant, careful with the paint and worked very hard. They were extremely punctual and the crew chief, Mauricio, was very helpful and willing to do everything to make sure the job was to my satisfaction. They completed the job as quickly as possible (rain delay). Mario Vega came on the last day to personally oversee the completed job. He has promised to return to do any touch up work that the construction workers might cause. Nadia who handles the e-mail and phones was always prompt and very nice. It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely use Solution again!

The two men showed up first thing in the morning, and asked if we had any paint with which they could match the trim, which we did. There was a bit of a language barrier, but he was able to get his boss on the phone, and eventually the boss arrived at our home as well. They got started immediately. There was some confusion on the work to be performed on the contract. I had requested the garage doors be painted, and he thought I meant only the trim of the garage doors. The contract price then did not include the doors. They said that it was not a problem to complete the doors. When the job was completed and paid for, we called them to explain that we probably owed more due to the doors being added to the job. They said that that would be complimentary. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and the promptness of their service.

I was sold by Mario on the idea that his crew was going to fix all of the problems created by previous lousy paint jobs. Not "restore" but rather sand out the rough edges, get rid of the paint drips, and the like. He pointed out numerous examples as we walked around the house. The crew arrived bright and early and worked long days. There were lots of guys, especially on the first day. I was shocked when I went into the house at the end of the first day to find that painting had started. I looked over the work and found that Mario's promises had not been fulfilled. The crew did not sand areas that needed sanding, they merely gave all surfaces a quick swipe with a sanding block. They did apply mud and smoothed out some of the rough spots in the walls, but even this was done poorly. I called Mario to complain and we met the next morning at the house. I pointed out the problems and showed him what I expected based on his promises (i.e., rub the sandpaper up and down a few times to smooth out the mess). He asked me to mark all of the bad spots on the second floor, which had gotten a first coat of paint. I marked 75 spots and the crew responded by cleaning those up. Unfortunately, they did not learn from this experience. The ground floor received only slightly better treatment than the initial work on the second floor. Putting the burden on me to do quality control on his crew is not what I paid $6,000 for. I expect Mario (or his brother who was the one present all of the time) to do that. It just did not happen. I actually paid slightly more to this company than the bid from another painting company. I wish I had gone with them.

The wall behind and next to the toilet was crumbling since the building was so old. I also needed 3 carpet joints replaced and 2 refastened. Mario visited and gave an estimate ($1,000), which was higher than I expected. I thought it would be under $500. He offered to repaint the bathroom for the $1,000 price. After thinking it over, I decided that if they could finish the job over the next weekend, the quick service would be worth the price. They said they could do it so I agreed. That Saturday morning, the workers were very punctual. There was a slight language barrier and there was some confusion about replacing the carpet joint. After talking things over with the worker, he seemed to understand my concerns. He didn't have the materials but said he would go to home depot to buy it. When I returned, I was very happy with the results. The bathroom looked great and he made a great choice in the style and color of the carpet joints. One problem I noticed in the bathroom was a slight gap between the existing and new wall. I called the worker and he agreed to touch it up with caulking. There was some misunderstanding about scheduling the touch up work between the worker and the tenant, but it was finally resolved, and I give a lot of credit to the worker's patience and customer service. He was kind and understanding over the phone. I wish they accepted credit card payments more easily, but all in all, I'm happy. What stands out to me, was their customer service and high quality work.

Mario was very responsive. He set up an appointment and was exactly on time. After this he provided us with an estimate laying out the cost of the job. A couple days later he then followed up and answered all the questions that we had before the job began. Mario's crew was polite and kept our house very clean while performing the work. After the job was over, Mario followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied with the outcome. My wife and I were more than pleased and the final cost was right in line with the estimate. Excellent work and value would highly recommend. Thanks again Mario.

I called the company for an estimate. Mario came to my home the next day and gave a written estimate based on the job specs. After obtaining a few comparison estimates, I decided to go with Solution Painting because they offered the lowest estimate and could accommodate my schedule. I e-mailed my paint selections to Nadia (Mario's wife who handles admin) the day after the job was confirmed for the following week. I didn't hear back for several days. I ended up calling Nadia up a couple of days before the job to get confirmation that everything was set. I was a little overwhelmed when some 6 painters showed up the first day and Mario wasn't among them; I was told there would be 2-3 guys working on the job. While the extra hands helped moved things along more quickly, since I was overseeing things on my own it made it more challenging to keep track of who was doing what, where my belongings were being moved to, etc. But the workers were punctual and courteous and careful about moving and protecting furniture and other items. Marcelo, Mario's brother, was the project manager on site. He was very easy to talk to and addressed my concerns. I selected different brands and colors of paint for different areas of my home. After they finished work the first day, I discovered that they used a different brand for the first coat than the actual brand of paint I had chosen. When I called Mario to question him about this, he said that this was common practice and that essentially the other paint brand was being used as a primer. If you're particular about paint quality and color as I am, I wasn't entirely convinced by his explanation. The next day there were only 3 painters, including Marcelo. This made things a lot more manageable. The job was estimated to be completed in 3 days. They ended up completing it by the end of the 2nd day. Besides the issue over the paint used, overall I am very happy with the results.

They arrived relatively on time and finished the job in half the time they originally anticipated. The walls and ceilings look brand new.

The owner is the one who came and did the estimate and he showed up on time. He did the estimate and also gave me some different ideas and prices on how they could do the job. The workers also showed up on time. The workers worked very hard. They also were nice and replaced the fascia on my house at no charge.

An excellent job. Sent crew of 6 so that job would be finished in one day, which I Iiked. All were professional and courteous. Covered all footpaths and other nearby furniture, and were cautious of everything. Couldn't have asked for more! Mario (owner) is a little reluctant to put details in a signed contract unless pressed. His attitude is "trust us, we do good work." I would not have bought that except for all of the prior top ratings in Angie's List, and he would have completed a detailed written document if I had insisted.

I thought the quote was for just the foyer and stairwell, and still thought it was reasonable for wallpaper removal and stairs, etc. In fact, the quote included the upstairs hallway and all the doors and trim as well as two closet interiors. The crew showed up on time and were very courteous and professional. They finished on time as well, but made the extra effort of taking their time with the trim, especially on the stairs. As a result they returned the next day to check their work and see if any touch up was needed. They removed all the fixtures prior to painting, rather than painting around them. In short, they were my perfect idea of painters. It's clear that Mario takes a lot of pride in his work.

They did an excellent job, they were professional. The owner gave me a really good estimate and stopped by several times to make sure everything was going good. They have a really good crew that knew their stuff and were very detailed. They did a very good job of cleaning up there were very few drips. I would recommend them to other people. They exceeded my expectations.

Solution Painting are true professionals. From the time I met with the contractor for an estimate all the way through the job, I encountered no problem whatsoever. Great attention to detail and a spotless job. I would certainly use this company again and wholeheartedly recommend them. And the price was right. Three thumbs up!

Mario was the only one to actually hand over a formal contract estimate after his assessment. His estimate, which included materials, was higher than two others we seriously considered, but his reputation and his comments during the site visit ultimately won us over. We were never entirely sure who supervised the workers, as we saw Mario only a couple of times. Nadia, his wife, was helpful in responding to our questions. Our palette consisted of 14 Benjamin Moore paint colors. A chart of where specific colors went with paint name and the more useful paint number was provided as well as signs in areas that could potentially cause confusion. The job took 5 days (vs. the estimated 3 days) to complete with 4-5 workers who were professional, arrived on time and worked 10-12 hour days. Although the condo was unoccupied, we had a few items that they moved and/or covered while they painted. They were careful about taping off fixtures and appliances. They completed our closet resize project, installed molding and sanded down the dry wall for an extra $150.00. While not perfect (a few sloppy areas in need of clean up or touch up) they did a good job overall.

It went very well. They arrived on the day they said at the time they said. The job took two days, but the second day they finished early afternoon. They did excellent prep work and cleaned up after themselves so there was very little we had to do after their departure. They replaced wood that had dry rot and did a terrific job. We are very pleased and the house looks great!

The company was very responsive to calls for estimates, scheduling etc. My only complaint may seem odd in that they stayed too long. I was told the project would take 3 days - which was fine, since we had three kids who needed access to the house. Instead, they tried to finish in one day, arriving at the expected time, but instead of wrapping up at 4, as we were told, they were still here at 5:30 when I got home. And because of the large crew, the kids could not get into the house on arriving home from school. I told Mario that we needed the house back, but we would go out to dinner, and I assumed they would be gone by our return. Instead, they were still there, with every main access to the house tied up, at 8pm. They must have taken on another job that started the next day (just an assumption), because they were reluctant to leave even then - hoping to finish in one day, what originally was scheduled to take 3. Certainly this is better than drawing out the process - but my family needed access to the house, homework locations and the computers. They finished the next day by noon. They sent what seemed like a swat team - would be great if we had known we had to race out of the house. This was a communications problem, as we had discussed how the work would progress, and this was not what I expected. The quality was generally very good - except there was apparently one guy (they were all men) doing trim work who was not very neat. And since Mario didn't do any kind of walk through with me afterwords, I did not get a chance to discuss this. On the other hand, they did clean up well, moved lots of large heavy things (and put them back), and were reasonable in last minute changes (I asked if adding a bathroom to the task was feasible and the charge was fair). If you use this company (and they would be fine) just don't plan on being in your house when you have this much work done.

I thought they had an extremely fair price and they did an excellent job.

Mario met my schedule to come give an estimate, and he and the team completed the job while I was away. They painted every wall and ceiling, did an extraordinary job with the crown moulding, all seamless and a beautiful, professional job. They're "my" crew from now on.

They did an excellent job and did all the prep work right away. Four gentlemen came and it took them 2 days to complete the work. While the paint was drying, they asked if I would like anything else done. So, I had them remove wallpaper (painting, plastered it, sanded) in my dining room, and it turned out great. They cleaned up after themselves and I am happy with their work.

Estimate given within hours of when I called. They arrived 1 minute before the set time and worked on cleaning the gutters (which were full of leaves and debris) for 3.5 hours. All debris went from gutter to plastic bags so there was no damage to or mess on the plantings below. They pointed out a potential problem area on the roof where a tree limb probably hit the roof in the past. Even thought the estimate was $25 higher than two others that I received, it was worth it and I plan to use them again.

After accepting Mario's estimate, he scheduled us within about a week. Said crew would show up between 7:30 and 8 each day. Crew was on site by 8:00 am each day. They began on a Tuesday with the interior family room and foyer and finished on Wednesday evening. The exterior work began on Thursday, worked all day Thursday and Friday and then worked from 8 till about noon on Sat to complete the work. The foreman on hand spoke English so I was able to communicate easily with the crew. They worked hard and took pride in their work. They did a great job of cleaning up and protected all of the areas both inside and outside and their were no paint spills. The left us plenty of "touch up" paint for use in the future. My wife and I are extremely happy with their work and would recommend them highly. If we have future large scale painting projects, we would hire them without hesitation.

It is some of the best work I have ever seen. Mario came out and reassured us that everything could be taken care of. They were extremely reasonable with prices. He was competitive in pricing and high in quality. Excellent.

Mr. Vega, who conducted the estimate, clearly instills in his workers his company's commitment to a job well done. Moreover, every time I called the office, the staff person remembered me, was familiar with the scope of work, was quick to respond with any questions I had and very delightful to work with. The crew at the house was outstanding to the degree where I feel the fantastic job they did at my house was "business at usual," and even stayed late one evening to finish up rather than extending work to an additional day. My home looks great - 60+ year old details (original doors, garage doors, beadboard, etc) were restored.
