I found Mario on Angie's List and was impressed with the positive feedback he has gotten from previous jobs. He came on schedule to do the estimate and explained how they would do the job. I hired him Wednesday and his team came that Saturday to paint. His office assistant Nadia said to expect them between 7:30 and 8:00 am. They didn't show up till about 8:30 but then again it had been a rainy couple of days before. Once they got to work they were an efficient team. Mario was like a general deploying his men, explaining what needed to be done and I liked the sense of having someone in control of the project. The prepping of the work space was thorough and well choreographed. Care was taken so that the furniture and flooring were fully covered/protected. In the end, the quality of the outcome was outstanding. Mario came by twice to check on the progress of their work and again at the end of the day when everything was done. I pointed out some bubbles (due to the humidity it was explained) and they were happy to fix these areas. Their efficiency applied to the clean up after too. I would happily recommend him and call him back for another painting job.

I couldn't have been more pleased. The crew was a heads-down, get-it-done team. The job went without a hitch. We had planned on 4-5 days, but because of their professionalism, they finished in 2 1/2 days. With all of the work required, I thought his estimate and final price was very fair for the excellent quality of work. I've found with other projects, that you get what you pay for. I will recommend Mario and his crew to anyone who will listen.

I was so pleased, that I called them back later to power wash the side of the house and paint most of the exterior of the house. The work was top notch and they even painted more than I had contracted for when they saw that it was needed. I offered to pay more for this service, but the owner refused. Further, they do a great job of clean up and want to make sure that you are satisfied

Received estimates for the exterior and interior painting of our house in May 2009. I found Mario Vega to be knowledgeable, informative, and easy to talk to concerning the painting of the house which had not been painted for nearly ten years. I thought that the price was fair and I agreed to have the exterior painted immediately, and the interior to be painted during the winter months. The exterior painting was scheduled to begin in June, but I requested it to be rescheduled in July, which Nadia from Solutions Painting was able to accommodate without difficulty. All in all, I am very satisfied with the cleaning, preparation, and caulking, and the quality and timeliness of the painting that included all wood siding and replacement of some boards, fascia and soffits, shutters (removed), front porch, gutters and downspouts, exterior trim and railing, and pressure washing of our flagstone patio, walkway, and concrete surface leading to the detach shop. The house was finished in less than a week, but the detached shop took longer due to the need to replace 20+ boards and the carpentry work needed to do so. The work resulted in an additional charge for the labor and materials, and it was acceptable to me. As a matter of fact, Mario would not collect payment in full for the entire painting job until the work was completed satisfactorily to me, something that is unheard of in this day and age. I certainly recommend Mario and his painting company to anyone who is in need of good quality house painting at reasonable rates.

Mario showed up on time to evaluate the job and provided an estimate before leaving my home. I scheduled the work several days later. Mario and his crew showed up on time and completed the work on the schedule promised. We had a misunderstanding about whether the garage painting was included in his estimate. Mario agreed to paint the garage at no additional cost. I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the work and highly recommend Solution Painting.

We came to know of them through Angie?s List. They had come on time, were very clean, and had done everything that they said they would do. They were fantastic and their price was extremely reasonable. They had walked away with nothing undone, and it was a pleasure working with them. Their price included all the trim and the windows. They were not super cheap but were super good. The quality of their work was excellent. They were very responsive in returning phone calls too. The only slight problem was that occasionally there was nobody who spoke English. They would come up and try to tell me something about the windows and so forth, but it was difficult for me to understand. We had then called the head of the company, Mario, and he had ensured that there was always someone here who spoke English. We are very satisfied with their work, and would hire them again.

Called and left message requesting an estimate. Call was returned in a timely manner. Mario Vega, the owner, arrived right on time for the estimate and gave the written estimate before leaving. Working out the co-ordination with Nadia was a pleasure. Mario arrived with his crew exactly on time and after seeing everything get under way he left. The crew was easy to communicate with. They worked very intensly for the next ten hours with a break for lunch. Prep work was thorough. Painting was very well done. Clean up was also thorough. We are very pleased with the result and would definitely use this company again.

I scheduled the work within several days of my first meeting with Mario Vega. A crew of six turned up promptly at 7:45 a.m. on the scheduled day. They power washed the house, did extensive scraping of loose paint, applied a primer coat to everything and then a final coat. Some of the trim boards along the roof line had to be replaced as did some of the shutters. After the first day the work was interrupted by two days of rain, but they then finished within the next two days. Mario stopped by during the project and also at the end to go over everything with me, and make sure I was satisfied. I felt they were very thorough, competent and professional. I felt that it went very well and that I received a high quality job. I'm entirely satisfied.

Of all the estimates that we got, this was by $1500 more, the highest estimate. The estimator was friendly, yet a bit aggressive about getting the job. He did have a portfolio book, which was impressive, but the cost was the number one reason that we choose not to have Solution Painting Inc. paint the house.

Excellent experience, start to finish. Mario was right on time for our initial appointment, and once I had reviewed the estimate I was able to schedule the work promptly. A substantial crew showed up exactly as scheduled and went immediately to work -- I left them to it and went to work myself, and came home that evening to find the job almost completed and the house in great shape (cleanup done, no equipment lying around, etc.). The crew foreman was there first thing the next morning to finish off the last of the project. Not only did they do a beautiful job, but they did so while working around another contractor who was there the same day finishing up some last-minute projects for my recent kitchen remodel -- one of which involved creating a large hole in the wall, which Solutions patched at no extra charge. I'm extremely happy with both the quality of the work and their professionalism, and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Mario arrived with his whole crew at 7 am. At 7pm the same day they departed and the job was complete. The work product was spectacular. The crew was extremely efficient and polite. The house looks new again. Months later when a piece of vinyl siding had come off during a wind storm, Mario's team came out within 24 hours of being called and put the siding back into place at no cost. I will definitely be working with Mario in the future.

Mario provided an estimate and a start date soon after I called. Nadia was lovely on the phone, helpful, detail-oriented and returned calls promptly. The work started on exactly the date promised, even though it was almost 3 months after. Everything was done carefuly, but quickly, a very hard-working crew. Small things were corrected with no problem. The house looks like new!

Mario's crew did an amazing job. He originally told me it would take 2 days to complete but they showed up with 5 workers around 8:00 AM on Monday and completed the entire job in one day. They came in and started work immediately and were very courteous and professional. They moved everything out of the rooms and completely covered the floors, counters and cabinets with plastic and paint tarps. They even covered the walkway into the house. When the job was finished they cleaned up all of the work areas. I'm pretty picky when it comes to having work done but I had a great experience with this company and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

I was extremely pleased with the entire process, from the time the estimate was requested through the walkthrough to ensure my satisfaction with the results. Mario is knowledgeable and professional and strives for perfection; his crew lived up to his high expectations. They did an amazing job, and I am just thrilled with how great it looks, inside and out. The attention to detail is exceptional, and the prep work and clean up was thorough. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family, and will use them again myself for other rooms.

I am very pleased with Mario and his crew. They did an excellent job. The guys were polite and punctual. They took care to make sure all the furniture and floors were properly covered before they began work. They were also very thorough when they cleaned up at the end of the job. They even re-hung my blinds and curtain rods. My living room, dining room and kitchen have been transformed especially the kitchen cabinets. I was considering getting new cabinets when Mario suggested painting them instead, using a better quality paint than what was used the first time they were painted. Mario was right the cabinets look new. All my friends say it looks like a totally different house. When I get ready to do the upstairs I will definitely be calling Mario again.

Mario promptly scheduled the appointment and was on-time and very professional. I had to schedule the painting in a rush due to a scheduled housewarming party and vacation, and his staff happily re-arranged their schedule to accommodate my request. They sent a staff of 3 painters to my house who arrived on-time and were very polite and professional. They did a terrific job of painting, and quickly fixed the minor imperfections I pointed out. They cleaned up very well after they were done, and I was left with a wonderful looking condo! I would definitely recommend them.

The entire process was a very pleasureable experience (I've never said that when it came to any home remodel project). Mario and his team showed up on time and swarmed over the project. They performed like a well oiled machine and their work was absolutely first class.We'll never paint again - we will call Mario and his team and then get out of the way!

I called Mario to get a quote. He made an appointment and came to my house to measure the rooms and to discuss paint varieties. He told me about the different finishes and brands that his company uses, and he recommended a Duron plastic coated paint that would allow me to wash off marks on interior walls, but would still provide a matte-appearance. After meeting with 3 other companies, I agreed to hire Solution painting, and then I met with Mario's assistant to finalize my colors and to discuss installing crown molding. We scheduled the painting date for 3 weeks later. His team arrived the first day to prep the walls. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and did a good job of clean up the first day. The entire house was completed within a day and a half. I was stunned by the quality of the workmanship. They did a wonderful job. They had managed to strip away old, chunky layers of paint and give my walls a smooth polished appearance. They built a pipe guard to finish the crown molding in the living room, and they cleaned up well. My only comment about clean up is that I noticed a few spatters of paint around the baseboard in the master bedroom, but I was able to flick those off. with a steel wool sponge. Also, they took my copy and original page of paint colors and color wheel, so I don't have a list of each color in each room. That is why I rated them a B in professionalism. Otherwise, I was so pleased. The color suggestions were perfect, and my house was transformed into a beautiful home.

Mario is a true professional. He is passionate about his work and takes great pride in the quality, which is truly excellent. He has trained his team of painters to do the jobs required with the outmost quality. Mario and his team completed the job in one day. It was absolutely amazing and our upstairs has never looked so good. His quote was very reasonable. The team did a great job removing mirrors and fixtures and blinds. Everything was put back just as it was after the job was completed and the place was very clean after they left. We have already recommended Mario to another friend and she has spoken very highly of Mario's team as well.

Mario was very punctual in showing up and he gave a very reasonable quote. They did a very good job with the painting and they completed the task in the agreed upon in the time-frame, quality, etc. I was very pleased with the final quality of service provided and the price quoted (much better than the other quotes we received from painters who tried to take advantage of the fact that we had to complete the painting quickly (3 days), before the movers moved in our furniture). We added one bathroom to the initial quote on day into the process, which resulted a price bump of about a 10%, which I thought was quite high, but all in all it was still in the price range we were happy with.

I would recommend them to anyone and I was pleased with them. There was one thing that they had done was that, they hadn?t completely signed off on it. So, when we took a look at it we thought it wasn?t right and spoke to the guy who was in charge of the job. He immediately agreed with us and redid everything. They swept the entire area and did the whole thing from scratch. They certainly made every effort to please us. It took them almost an entire week to complete the job. They also stained and oiled our deck. We had a significantly lower bid from another company, but they couldn?t get to our house as soon as we wanted them to. So, we went with Solution Painting. I don?t have any serious criticism of anything that they did. They were very pleasant and conscientious. There was always somebody around who could speak English. Once, when there was a death in the bosses? family, we had to reschedule and move it back 3 weeks or so. However, when the new schedule was given, they came early in the morning and were there continually till the work was done. Their price in a way was sort of a question mark to me. They weren?t terribly high or low in their price. It was a reasonable price and not like a bargain one. I would have put it out for a bid but I would have certainly asked them for an estimate. On the first day of work they had an accident and cracked the outer glass of an insulated door. They asked us to get somebody to fix it and said that they would take care of the price.

Mario is a perfectionist with a tremendous eye for detail. He spent a full day in the house going over every inch before he would give us a price. When the work began, he worked quickly, and insisted on the highest quality. He took generations of paint off our baseboards and moldings. He skim coated our walls so that they are smooth and nice. He stripped the paint of the beautiful door knobs and fixtures throughout the house. And he repaired windows that had probably been painted shut for decades. It was, frankly, amazing to watch Mario and his team work. Mario is an exacting person, and he demands a lot of his crew. Their standards are incredibly high, and they know that their business depends satisfying their customers. Given the incredible scope of work that Mario and team undertook, I feel like we got a great deal. Mario takes pride in doing a good job, and there is no substitute for that.

They were amazing. They had a great price and worked so fast. They were able to give me recommendations and the owner came out to check on his team and make sure they were doing a good job. They were all so polite and I would absolutely recommend them to others. Their price was the best that I found by a long shot.

I selected this company based on Angie's list reviews and after having Mario come out to the house to give me an estimate. They were prompt in providing the estimate. Mario went through the house pointing out poor quality details that were done on previous paint jobs and indicated that they do not do that kind of work. I liked his attention to detail. Based on that and previous reviews my expectations were high. During the job, I had the same experience as another reviewer in that if I pointed out poor quality areas, they would be fixed but as they continued to paint other areas, the same problems occured. I have to say MOST of the areas were done well. However I was left with paint on my floor, on the ceiling fan and on the shoe moldings. I asked Mario at the beginning of the job to ask the crew to be sure and lift the furniture as they move it and not slide it across the hardword floors. He said they did not do that. I also asked the crew leader several times to remind the guys about that. But they must have slid it anyway; I have scratches on my hardwood floors. The areas around the molding that Mario pointed out were not done well on a previous paint job still had uneven edges. I figured I was maybe just being picky but this bid was by far the highest and I was impressed with Mario's attention to detail during the bid process. I was expecting commensurate quality. I did e-mail the company and let them know some of the problems and asked them to give me the leftover paint so I could do the touchup myself. I got an e-mail response that Mario would call me but that has not happened yet. The crew worked long days, arriving at 7:30 and staying until 7pm most nights. They have a lot of crew members working on the job, at a couple points during the job there were as many as 8 people in the house.
