Member comments; Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the work and the responsiveness of the painting crew. They showed up when promised and began work immediately. They were diligent in their work and there were no noticeable "skips" or "misses" in the paint. The crew put in extra effort to finish the job in one day to give the paint more time to cure before anticipated rains later in the week.. We intend to paint the interior of our home later in the year and anticipate using Solution Painting for that job also.

Crew of 4 showed up at 0730 and quickly began taping, covering floor areas and sanding walls. The project manager arrived and talked about job process and plan for the day. He explained painting techniques and asked about questions. We had asked for a price on an additional room to paint and was quickly provided an estimate. Painters sanded, plastered and painted walls and ceiling all day and finished the job at 1930. House was inspected and was perfect. No flaws.

We are extremely pleased with the work performed by Mario and his team. From Ezequiel who provided the estimate, Alfredo the foreman to the painters all were very professional, courteous and worked hard to provide the best service possible. The project was completed within the time estimated and the workmanship was of highest quality, not to mention the estimate was 30 percent less than the other estimates we received.

Called to get quote, reached answering service which said they would get back in 48 hours. It's been over three business days plus a weekend and no response.

Mario (the owner) came out to the house and provided a quote instantly after a physical inspection. Mario was fast, courteous, and honest about the work that needed to be done. On the day painting was scheduled the entire crew arrived on time, took their shoes off at the front door and immediately went to work. I was shocked at the number of people who were brought in to complete the job and every one of them was very polite and professional. Mario began instructing everyone on what needed to be painted and I was out of the house in approximately 15 minutes. I was quoted 2 days to complete all of the painting and I figured it would take longer. However, when I checked in at the end of the first day I was shocked to see that almost everything was completed!! Mario and his crew were actually able to complete all painting (2 coats) to include fixing holes and cracks in the dry wall!! I truly did not even know it was possible to complete all that work in one day and the quality was absolutely amazing. I do not trust contractors in general. However, I must say that Mario was AMAZING and the interior painting was the BEST I have ever seen!!! I was just amazed at how fast everything was completed and the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING QUALITY!! My wife and I own another home in DC and we will DEFINITELY use Solutions Painting to paint this home and anything else we can find to paint. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to anyone who needs to get painting done quickly, efficiently, and at top quality.

PHENOMENAL!!These folks did a gorgeous job of custom painting. They caulked the windows and the chair rail and wainscotting I had had put up and then did a beautiful job of painting my children's rooms. They very carefully measured and adjusted the pattern of stripes I had requested to fit the area perfectly. I was amazed with their professionalism. There was a little mix-up with an uneven stripe, but they offered immediately to fix it or to refund the cost of the custom painted area. I recommend them to anyone. I am going to contact them right now about repainting my dining room. They are awesome. The movers did leave paint fingerprints on some of the furniture and tore up the carpet in a couple of places moving a dresser that had a nail loose on the bottom.

I like the guy who gave me the quote. He was really nice. The crew that came was also very nice. They were really good about moving all my furniture around. Their prices were reasonable and the quality of their work was really good. They showed up when they said they would.

The team did an excellent job on a tricky room. They worked with new drywall, original plaster and plaster over CMU. They blended everything together seamlessly, skimmed, sanded, primed, and painted. The team was punctual, courteous and neat. Having seen the quality (and value) of their work, I will use them for any future projects I may have.

On insistance of our realtor, we decided to get our townhouse pressure washed before we put it on the market in a couple weeks. I had used Solution Painting for an interior drywall job about a month ago and called them first for the pressure washing quote. They came over the next day and I was able to schedule them for one week later. I did not get other quotes and my impression is that I might have been able to get the job done for less. However, they were very responsive and I knew they did good (drywall) work. It was not worth my time, effort, or stress level to try to save a little money and go with a new (potentially unreliable) company. Yesterday morning they arrived about 8:15am and I left for work once they got started. When I got home, I could not be any happier. The house looks great! The brick and concrete work looks practically brand new! Maybe I could get just as good a job done by someone else for a little cheaper...but Solution Painting is going to be my go-to company for some of these jobs. They are very responsive and twice now have gotten my work scheduled quickly. The work is extremely high quality and I firmly believe you get what you pay for. They also let me wait to pay until after they knew I was satisfied with the work.

On drywall day they showed up with 2 workers who worked all day finishing the drywall to paint ready condition. They even spent extra time correcting ares where I had attempted to finish and made mistakes. The only work I was not completely satisfied with was the repair of two large ceiling holes. There is a popcorn finish that is hard to replicate. Greatwork overall by a very professional team.

Our experience with Solution Painting has been excellent. Their estimates were thorough and reasonable, they were responsive with phone and email communications, they arrived to the job on time, the quality of their work was excellent, and there weren't any surprises in the final invoices. We have been very happy with our experience, and would not hesitate to use Solution Painting for our next paint job.

They finished in one day and did fantastic work! Also their quote was half of a competetors. They were quick to get an estimate and were painting within two weeks. Very happy with service!

Excellent work! We had exterior painting done (porch, door, garage) and they did thorough, careful work that looks great! They took care to protect our garden plants, etc. Work was on schedule, on budget, and extremely good quality. We added a small addition to the job that was not included in the estimate, and they gave us a fair price for the addition and completed it the same day. The work crew (5 workers) meant they were able to do the job quickly and efficiently.Would definitely hire again - in fact am planning some future interior painting with them.

Great experience. Mario gave a very fair price. His crew arrived on-time and went above and beyond. Their prep work (sanding and priming was immaculate, and they did two coats of high-quality paint. While they were on the ladder they even fixed some of my gutters at no extra charge. Also, since their ride was late and they had extra paint, they paint my garage door free of charge!

Called and said they would be a little late due to traffic. They put down drop clothes and moved any furniture that got in the way. They spent six hours working on my second floor hallway. They did an excellent job, all the nail pops are gone and everything looks great. I was surprised they could caulk and paint my ceiling medallion because it was in really high spot but they made it look easy. They cleaned up after themselves and moved the furniture back to the original location. I would definitely hire them again. Good find on Angie's list!

Reviewed Angie's List for painters--saw that Solution painting received overall "A" ratings. Call the company, got an estimate and signed the contract. I am enjoying my "new house"! ... and yes, they deserved the "A" rating!

I scheduled an estimate for our drywall ceiling and they came out within a few days, right on time for the scheduled appointment. The price was not the cheapest but it was fair. They quoted a painting job as well. Although the price was fair, I chose the 'sweat-equity' route and painted myself to save money. Even though I didn't book them for all the work, they were willing to squeeze the job in within a week of my calling them back; they had said standard time was 2-3 weeks to get on the schedule. The 2-man crew showed up Saturday morning and measured for drywall before going to buy the materials. They returned an hour later to hang the drywall. They setup full drop cloths to protect the flooring and worked around a shelf unit I was not able to remove from the room. They took a small lunch break while the first layer of mud was drying and when they left at the end of the day, they had done a second sanding and the ceiling was clean and ready to paint. They vacuumed up their drywall dust and left the room cleaner than it was when they started. Since I don't like drywall or mudding, I will probably call back for future jobs; this was a great experience.

They were excellent. They were really good, professional, did excellent workmanship, they were very responsive, and a good bunch of guys or workers to have in my house. I give them high ratings and will use then again in the future.

There are terrific folks. They paintied the exterior of our home last summer. We got 4 bids for the interior painting of walls and ceiling this year (all Angies List A-rated) and they gave us the best price. Having been completely satisfied with the exterior work, we were delighted when they were the low bidder. They came promptly as scheduled with a full crew of 7/8 men and worked diligently for 2 very full days to complete the job. (Estimated time for the job was 3-days.) They sanded the walls and ceilng. As they sanded each area they taped off the space with plastic to minimize the dust. Of course you can't eliminate it completely. At the end of the first day, they vacuumed up and left things tidy. They moved furniture from room to room to protect it. The baby grand piano was moved to the center of the room and completely wrapped in plastic. They go beyond the letter of the contract to do an outstanding job and seem genuinely concerned with satisfying us. They take great price in their work and I hightly recommend them.

Company was very professional, neat and did an outstanding job. Ezechial arrived on schedule to estimate on a Wednesday and 3 people arrived early Thursday morning. They did an outstanding job painting - very neet, organized and professional. I will have them back and recommend them to friends. PS - my wife was thrilled when she returned from her trip and closets were all painted.

These guys were absolutely fantastic. We used them once before to paint the exterior of our entire house, and at that time we were sceptical because their price was literally 1/3 of the next best price, but we went with them with our fingers crossed and they did a fantastic job. Not only was it the best exterior paint job I've ever seen, but they did extra carpentry and repair work on the windows without charging us extra. Fast forward a few years and we've built bookcases in our house and need them painted. A big job but also becuase we needed the walls repaired, the textured ceiling skim coated, and a bunch of carpentry done on the mouldings and baseboards. We didn't ask for quotes from anybody else, and the same guys came out and showed up when they said the would, and finished the entire job in three days. It was an amazing thing to see - and they were polite, kept dust down and everything clean, and did some additional work that needed to be done that I hadn't noticed. These guys rock, and I am looking for more painting on our house just to bring them back. I'm never painting again, these guys are inexpensive and do a much better and quicker job than I ever could. I cannot recommend them enough.

Overall the job went well and the employees did their job quietly. Instead of it taking 2-3 days as we were told originally, the workers stayed until around 7 or 8 the first night and completed it. When we did the walk around on the first morning we were asked what color to paint the pickets in the stair railing as well as the doors. We let the lead employee know and when we did the final walk through at the end of the job we noticed that the pickets were the wrong color. There seemed to be a bit of a language barrier there and so we let it go to see if it was something that we would like or not. The rest of the basement was painted as we told them and overall it looked very good. No visible runs, splattering, or blending of the colors.
