I have used many painters in the past, but none provided the quality and service that Solution Painting delivered. I will use them again.

Mario and his crews did a fabulous job! We just bought a new house and it had wallpaper over most of the rooms in the house. We were very concerned about finding the right contractor with high quality at a reasonable price. We ended up interviewing around 5 different contractors, with additional questions for many of them. Of these, almost all seemed like they could do a great job. They all seems knowledgeable and experienced. At first, we thought we could save some money by not having certain parts of the room (ceiling, trim) painted. Mario at Solutions Painting suggested that it would really be best if we have everything done at once, and he was certainly right. Everything they did looks wonderful, it's like a brand new house! They did an incredible job on removing the wallpaper - carefully smoothing everything out to ensure no imperfections due to the wallpaper they removed. We have a circular stairway and I was especially impressed with the workmanship there - everything is perfectly smooth. Another aspect of their work I noticed was the corners on the window frame where they meet the wall. The lines are perfectly straight! Is is obvious that they take great care and pride in their work. The crew supervisor, Ezekiel was also very helpful and professional. He asked us about removing window dressing hardware and put back everything that we wanted put back and followed any other instructions. Throughout the job he answered all of our questions on progress and anything else.I would highly recommend Solution Painting due to their high quality craftmanship, attention to detail and reasonable price.

The painting crew showed up on-time and took lots of care to ensure that they maintained the work area clean and tidy throughout the entire process, and cleaned up behind themselves.. making it impossible to tell that there had ever been a paint crew in our home. The work was precise... The scheduling and ordering of paint colors was extremely easy... and convenient. as well... Overall we were extremely pleased with the professionalism of the crew, scheduling and consultation, and final results. We will definitely call on Mario and his crew in the future...

Scheduling the estimate took a little more communication than I expected so I had to get the 2 other companies to extend their bids by a couple of weeks. However, when Mario came he was professional, demonstrated knowledge/experience, pointed out issues that I didn't even know could be fixed, told me exactly what his crew would do, & gave me the bid right then & there instead of "getting back" like everyone else did (except for one other Angie's List co.). After checking back with a couple of other bidders who had not included materials in their bids & looking on the BBB site, we hired Solution Painting. The work was scheduled for June 15th. I was a bit worried when the "crew" arrived since only 2 guys came. Ezekial, the crew chief, was incredible & his professional approach to the job reassured me. Prep work began & the remainder of the 5 man crew came in an hour or so. By late afternoon, Mario brought another crew from another site & the 8 guys worked into the evening. A different crew chief brought the guys the next morning. There was absolutely no doubt about their competence, but there seemed to be a lot of slack time that day. However, they finished the job in the early evening & told me to give them a call if there was a problem. When we started seeing the paint under different lighting situations, we noted a couple of major issues & a few very minor ones. Early this week, I called back & spoke with Cindy & Mario & we arranged for the work to be completed today. I was apprehensive since our new carpeting had been installed & new furniture delivered since the original work was completed. I didn't need to worry. Everything in the room was completely covered by brand new plastic & clean dropcloths. When they removed it, they carefully rolled everything to the center - I only have to dust the mantle & the lamp we were using for bright illumination. The young man Ezekial left in charge was outstanding! He worked & reworked the problems until we were both satisfied. The rooms are beautiful & I couldn't be happier. I would recommend this company to anyone & will use them again in the future.

A 4-man hard-working crew completed the job in 2 days. All Solution Painting Inc employees were well-trained and experienced; they did a great job. Cleanup was thorough and extra paint was left with us. I highly recommend Solution Painting.

Things went wonderfully from beginning to end. Mario showed up exactly on time for the estimate and was efficient, straight-forward, and fast. Cindy who handles scheduling and operations works over email (which is a huge plus for me) and was very helpful since we had some tricky scheduling challenges on our end (trying to juggle closing on the house, a move, and floor and painting work). Mario's crew did an excellent job cleaning up and fixing the drywall (the previous owners made a mess of it, you can't even tell now) and did an amazing job with the new paint (previous owners had some bright taste in colors that were hard to cover up with the new lighter colors, but the results were great). They finished what seemed to me like a large tough job very quickly over July 3rd and 4th. Very happy with the result, definitely recommend.

We had some water damage in our ceiling and along the wall. Two guys from Solutions came out, fixed the damaged dry wall and repainted the affected areas. The guys were punctual and professional, and the results were excellent. We have previously used Solutions Painting to paint a couple of rooms before we moved in. Those results were excellent as well. I have been impressed with the quality of their work, and they always clean up the work area so it's like they weren't even there. I would use Solutions Painting again.

The first day was great, 2 guys showed up and they worked very clean, but slow and steady. Then I didn't hear from anybody for a while. There was rain coming, but then several days of good weather, and no call. I didn't know what was going on. Then with about two days before I went back to work, they called and came out the next day. They showed up a little late but with four painters, and worked straight thru until about 6 PM and finished the job. The quality was excellent, but we lost a few days and just by chance I was still in town to get it done.

Great job from the start with the estimate to the very end as his crew left not a spec of mess behind. I really appreciated the work done for us.

Despite the fact that the expired coupon from 2009 on their webpage: http://www.solutionpaintingva.com/html/specials.html says that they will service the Maryland and DC area, they were not able to accommodate a job in Maryland, just a few miles from the DC border. I looked on there website to see if there was a map for which they serve and I found nothing. Don't get your hopes up if you live in Maryland.

The job went very well and I was very impressed with quality of their work. Alfredo and the team arrived on time each day and completed this large project within 5 working days. I selected a large number of different paint colors for various accent walls and the team performed without any problems. They removed lights, door bells, recessed lights, ect. to ensure a perfect end product. This was the second time I used Solutions Painting for interior painting - once again they exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use them again on future painting projects.

I had a very positive experience with Solution Painting Inc. They were reliable and came on time. They were polite. They worked hard and got the job done quickly, I thought they did a good job.

It looks amazing. They got everything done in 2 days and I have received many compliments from my neighbors. I would highly recommend this company. They used quality paint, had very nice workers, and their managers spoke english very well. The house went from peeling and dowdy to the nicest on the block.

Showed up on day of work on time, and worked hoard to complete the project in just one day. The individual who did the work worked hard, and did a decent job. Wasn't until after we painted the walls that we noticed a few spots where he could have smoothed out better. Overall though, I was satisfied with the job for the price, and would recommend to others for work too.

First, let me say that I never write online reviews, which is partly why it's taken me a month to write this one. I'm a very busy person and I figure that once I've paid for a service, I'm done. Any comments I have to make are made to the service provider. Mario and his team, however, are so special that they are worth this effort and more! I found Solutions Painting here on Angie's List last month and immediately called for an estimate. Mario and his niece were prompt and extremely professional. When Mario asked how soon I needed the job started, I held my breath and said, "Tomorrow (Wednesday) because our movers are coming on Monday." Needless to say, he was shocked, but he took a deep breath, added an extra charge (which was fine, fair enough), and said, "The house will be ready by Monday, guaranteed." I'm not one to trust people very easily but something told me I could trust Mario and his team. Sure enough, they called at 7:30 the next morning to be sure they had access to the house (which was empty) and they were on their way. This team was the most professional and hard working team of painters I've ever met. No matter what I threw at Mario (a long list of paint colors and custom instructions), he remained professional and calm (even though he may have gotten exasperated with me a couple of times :) And best of all, their painting is truly a work of art! My home has been transformed! And the work was completed on Friday, by the way. All of that is to say that Mario and his team will not just slap some paint on the wall and call it a day. Their goal is transformation. Mario even had the team redo a wall because he didn't like how it looked when the sunlight was shining on it. He is a true artisan and craftsman and I cannot recommend him highly enough. As much as I'd like to keep his work secret so he doesn't get too busy to finish my house (I'm bringing him back to do the exterior trim), I thought it was time to stop and give him the compliments, in writing, that he completely deserves. We chose this contractor because it had very high ratings from Angie's List. I would not recommend this contractor.

The estimate was the best price we received, Mario came out to us very quickly for it. The crew arrived on time and was very professional. The quality of their work was outstanding. I only gave them a B on quality and overall because they could have been more careful around my landscaping. The proper care was not taken to protect the garden in my frontyard from the powerwashing or paint but we did not lose any plants just some leaves. Also, a piece of equipment was left on my front lawn too long and all of the grass under that rectangular item is now completely dead. I would use them again, but remind them to be conscious of my lawn and landscaping at the estimate and again before work begins.

It was all exterior work. I thought their price was good. They were reasonable.

Quick to come with estimate; scheduleing was smooth, crew of four individuals moved furniture, repaired, move back in (no small task), cleaned up well on job completion. Beautiful work, as always! Walls were uneven in places and several dings had to be repaired. The results were excellent -'you cannot tell it wasn't perfect before.'' I have engaged Solutions Paintins before for interior painting, and will call tham again for exterior work.

Perhaps this review is a little premature, since I've yet to make an official decision and select an official contractor for the work that I am looking to have done, but I still wanted to give credit where credit is due. The owner himself made contact with me shortly after I made a verbose inquiry via this website and was happy to make a weekend arrangement to come look at my ceiling. Since I live in a gated condo association and the front doors of the buildings are locked, the poor guy remained persistent even though his calls to my phone were not heard (not sure why!) He could have just given up and left, but he stuck around an, in spite of all that, was on time for the appointment! I did feel a little rushed by his estimation of my situation in my condo unit, as I had some difficulty communicating to him that I did not yet know WHAT I wanted to do with the ceiling, since knowing what the possibilities were and what the costs would ballpark out to be would influence my eventual decision. But other than that, it was all straight forward and his suggestion of tackling both the ceiling plastering AND the painting all at once, while more expensive than with other estimates I got, would also accomplish more and more conveniently than if he only did the minimal necessary work and left my girlfriend and I do wade our way through the inevitably messy and redundantly inconvenient aftermath. Though I'm in a bit of sticker shock over the cost of removing popcorn, plastering, priming, and entirely painting just two rooms, it wasn't far off from other estimates and included more actual work accomplished... so this contractor remains at the top of my list of choices when I've stashed enough cash to proceed.

The Solution's team arrived on time and every employee went "right to work". Everyone seemed to have a specific responsibility while they worked in unison to effectuate a professional outcome. Even the owner of Solutions Painting showed up later to check on the job and ensure we were getting quality work. My daughter commented "they were like a machine" in that they coordinated their efforts and performed a very precise, professional job in a very timely manner. I had my doubts that all the work would be accomplished in one day but was extremely pleased with the results after completing the job in about 6 hours. It was very important to me to have this painting project performed in a timely and expert manner as my 88 year old mother was scheduled to move into her new "suite" in one week and I was under alot of stress trying to coordinate various tasks. I could not have been more pleased with Solutions Painting and would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone requiring expert interior or exterior painting services.

The service was great. The only thing I would recommend is that they communicate with you when the painting is delayed due to weather. I had to call and ask the status of our job. Thank you to your team for their excellent work and service ? they were great. I am most appreciative that you sent them out on Saturday to complete the job. They were prompt, courteous and professional and the house looks great.
