Mr. Vega came and gave estimate for work in kitchen, family room, very friendly and to the point. Gave good advice about the job we decided to give him extra work. The painters came in on the 6th and they were very professional.

Professional staff, timely, respectful, detail-oriented, neat, quick work, took time to explain what work will be done and time frame, stayed on site until home owner returned to inspect the work, efficient, but cut no corners; friendly, but not chatty, quite pleased with work and staff.

As in the past they more than exceeded our expectations. We had had the work done on the roof and shutters by another company several years ago and the comparison of how Solutions did the work versus that company is like night and day. We were definitely happy with their work and will definitely use them again. Their price was fair, they were totally professional and competent. We highly recommend them to others...as long as you don't steal them from us! :O)

Overall well done, but very expensive for the square footage in my opinion. However, I'm discovering that there were many nail pops that were painted over rather than fixed, so the finish is now damaged and will need to be repaired. I wish this had brought to my attention when the work was done - I would rather have paid more for them to be fixed up front rather than have the nail pops simply worsen over time.

A large team of painters arrived on time an quickly and efficiently began working on the assigned projects. They were careful, thorough, and finished ahead of schedule!

Mario was on time for the estimate. He was very detailed in his examination of the house and showed me areas that needed paint and trim that had rotted. He provided an estimate on the spot. I got a follow up call from his office several days later. I had a couple of questions and called him directly. He was very responsive. On the scheduled day start day, I was expecting the crew to arrive at 8 am, but they arrived before 7:30 and went right to work. There were 14-15 workers. They worked hard and completed all of the preparation and most of the priming on Day 1. They worked until 8 pm. I was very impressed with the prep. They stripped all of the paint from the trim. No more cracks! The trim looked like new. They were back by 7:30 on day 2 with a slightly smaller crew. They worked until dark and finished with 2 coats of painting and the trim repairs. I expected to see them the next day for an inspection, but I didn't see anyone. I did my own inspection and called with a few items: painting of a screen insert, re-attaching cables to house, repairing a hose holder and properly attaching a light fixture. We agreed on a day and they came back and made it all right. I would use Solution again. They worked hard and because of the size of the crew were very fast. It was a lot of money, but I feel confident it was a fair price. The competitors gave lower quotes, but with fewer coats and less meticulous preparation. Mario was very focused on insuring we were satisfied customers.

Solutions Painting did an excellent job. After reviewing the quality of work he did on the exterior of my home I will now use him for my interior. I can not decribe how happy I am with this job. The price was well worth it. It is true you get what you pay for.

He appeared at 7:30 AM on the scheduled date and brought with him quite a large painting crew, 16 I believe, including a couple of carpenters. They worked 11 to 12 hours each day. By the end of the first day, they had completed all the surface preparation on the siding and trim (except for some rotted trim and siding boards still to be replaced) and had applied the full coat of oil-based primer. From what I could tell, they did a meticulous job of scraping and surface preparation and the surfaces were smooth. The crew sizes were lower on subsequent days, but by the end of the fourth day, they had completely finished the entire job. At the end of the third day, they asked me to look over the job and point out any imperfections. I did so, and found four or five minor drips and flaws which they quickly corrected. At this point, I would be hard pressed to point out any even minor flaws in the work. I was particularly impressed with the carpentry. Both the carpenters and painters did a complete and meticulous job. Given the favorable reviews I had read about Solution Painting, I expected a high quality job and was not disappointed.

Many other places did not want the job because it was too small for them. But I'm glad I found Solution Painting through Angie's list and the consumer checkbook. The owner promptly came by to give me an estimate. Three guys came a couple weeks later and did the job in a day. They did a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier.

I checked Angie's List for recommendations and got 3 estimates. The other estimates were $2800 and $3000. Although Mario's estimate was the highest, he looked at the surfaces that needed work and described exactly what he would do. He said the white trim and metal doors would need oil-based primer (after preparing the existing surface by scraping and sanding) and two coats of paint. He was very knowledgable about what needed to be done and assured me they could make it look good. He also said that if he found any unsound surfaces during the preparation process, such as rotted wood, he would fix them at no additional charge. I was concerned that if the existing surfaces weren't properly prepared, the new paint would just peel again, so I felt more comfortable hiring Solutions. They arrived at the first mutually agreeable date (we needed to get some landscaping work done first to provide access to the back of the deck and trim the bushes in front). They came before 8 AM on July 7, and there were about 5-6 guys working pretty constantly until about 6 or 7 PM. Before they left they asked me to inspect their work. I pointed out a few things that they had missed. They let everything dry on August 8, then came back on August 9 to finish the job, making sure to complete everything. They asked me to look at it again before they left. After they finished, I realized that they had done several things that I had not specifically asked for: cleaning off the front of the gutters. We have Gutter Helmets, so I don't know how much they cleaned inside the gutters since I can't see them. They painted the trim around the basement windows, which had never been painted before. They stained the wooden basement steps, which had never been done before. They repainted the drywall on the inside of the basement stairwell, which I had wanted done but didn't specifically ask for. The reason I scored price as "Excellent" is because I believe I got my money's worth for this particular job.

Everything was great. Completed in two days. About a month later some of the wood work at the roof bowed out slightly from the summer heat and they came out next day to repair it at no cost.

What a great company and a great crew!! They worked really hard for us and did an AMAZING job!! Don't wait as long as I did to decide to go with them! My husband and I just bought our first home....an older home....with a TON of dings and holes and TERRIBLE previous paint jobs....at first we just wanted to get some ceiling drywall re-done by them - as that was going to be a bit expensive alone the guy who gave us a quote figured in other areas that we were going to paint and patch ourselves to make it worth our money and worth their time - we are talking painting ceilings, trim, molding, walls, hallway, and kitchen – would take us at least a month to really get it right! Not only did he give the BEST quote (out of 3 companies) he was very patient with all my questions - I called 3 times one evening and he talked me through my all my questions, great customer service! Then when we decided to go with them they fit us in the next day (Saturday!) - came with a large crew and did the job in one day - WOW! They did more than we were anticipating – fixed some crown molding and sealed our cupboards with caulking and then painted over it. As our budget is limited and we wish we could hire them to paint our whole house we will really enjoy looking at their professional job vs what we would of tried to fix/paint on our own - we just LOVE our main living area now! The only improvements they could make would be that a couple of our cupboards and our kitchen ceiling fan did have some paint on them, which I have already removed and parts of the baseboards had to be touched up – they gave us the leftover paint so I just used that. Besides that, excellent excellent work!

After seeing this company had the best reviews on Angieslist I gave them a call for a drywall estimate. The drywall just needed a final coat of joint compound. All total about 15 pieces of drywall. The person who gave me the estimate said it would cost $1400.00. He was very pushy trying to get me to skim coat all the walls in my house because they are plaster. I told him I was not interested in trying to make my house look like it was all drywall and that I was ok with the plaster. He continued on even after I told him I didn't have it in my budget to do all the work he wanted to do. Horrible experience and they will not get my business.

A crew of 5 arrived on time and began working right away. The team was very efficient in there use of time and quality of work. The residence was painted in two days with double coats. Two accent walls were completed with one requiring four coats of paint. The workers were very well mannered and were careful not to damage any items. Everything in the home was covered and protected from dust and paint. The team moved all furniture and replaced it back to original configuration when finished. Would have preferred they not have staged equipment in grass, browned out a few areas but other than that I have no complaints or issues. Solution Painting did a great job and I would recommend contacting them if you are taking numerous estimates.

Solution painting painted my exterior fall 2011. We rehired them because they did such a wonderful job, using many men, and good paint, plus cleaned everything (+ moved lots of furniture in & out).

It went fantastic! We walked through the house and reviewed the written estimate that Ezequiel wrote up. After that, they knew just what to do and just did it! Very pro. I had called in before they arrived about an additional patchwork for drywalling, and they knew about it, looked at it with me and we made the work job order adjustments, and they took care of it. The crew hit a few snags .. for instance the patch in the living room ended up being a much larger painting area because the paints were not an exact match in color. They did not muss or fuss, they just did what they had to do. There were 6 people who did the work and it was done in a day! They were very organized and worked well as a team. It was a great way to do it. The whole house was covered in plastic and paint cloth and they were very careful. They did a beautiful job in every chore.They did a thorough job cleaning up after their work.

From the estimate to the completion, they accommodated us on our tight schedule. They brought in an extremely professional team who kept everything clean and neat. They were very meticulous with their precision. We are very satisfied.

The workers were on time. They worked steadily and thoroughly. They had a very professional demeanor and work ethic. I would hire them again.
