Mario came out for the estimate. He was punctual, quick, honest and friendly. I got two other estimates and the quote provided by Solution wasn't the cheapest but after the Angie's list discount, they were within about $200 of the lowest estimate but I got a better feeling from this company than the other company so I was fine paying a little more. They sent out a huge crew of guys who busted out the painting in two days. The foreman was very professional, he called me throughout the day whenever they had a question. I had a newly renovated kitchen and they did a great job covering everything and did an good job cleaning up afterwards. I had my hardwood floors refinished and carpet put in after the painting job so I arranged with Mario to have a few guys come back out after the floor and carpet work was done and touch up the areas that got a bit messed up. There was a lot of work that had to be done around the stairs after the floors were refinished and they did a great job. My wife had to stay on top of them at the end to get all the small stuff touched up properly but in the end they took care of everything and did a great job. Rosy in the office was very polite and helpful throughout the whole process. There was one miscommunication on the scheduling of a follow-up visit but Mario came straight over after I called him about it so it wasn't a big deal. The only real complaint I have about the company is that they charge a 3% fee if you want to pay with a credit card. This is on the estimate form they gave me but I didn't notice it at first. I would have preferred to put this job on a credit card but wasn't willing to pay the fee so I had to pay cash which was a bit inconvenient. Having said that, they didn't make me pay until all the work was done which was great. Overall, I was VERY happy with my experience with this company and have already recommended them to a friend.

I am extremely pleased with the work that was done on my home. Mario (the owner) came to my home and gave me an estimate prior to leaving. He was very detailed and his estimate was extremely fair. Once I selected Solutiojn Painting to do the work scheduling the work start date with Rosy could not have been easier. She is always easy to get in touch with and is extremely friendly. Mario spent the entire 1st day on my jobsite working with and overseeing his crew. They did a fantastic job preparing to paint, from sanding walls to patching holes. Both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the final results. I would highly recommend Mario and his team to anyone looking for quality painting work done on their home.

Overall, I am disappointed with the quality of the work. Lots of little bumps and imperfections in the paint on the walls. Some of the imperfections could have been easily hidden with some dry wall plaster and sanding. Lots of bumps in the trim where they did not sand prior to painting. Did not paint the top of the trim over the door, but left it dusty/dirty. They use Duron Plastic Kote for painting trim, which is a thick paint. However, it was applied so heavily to the window sills it left a lot of brush strokes and runs on the edges. Mario, the owner, came to my house to see the room, and gave me the estimate. He told me the job could be done in two days. The guys did it in one day. I believe they rushed through the work as quickly as they could. They left a large section of wall without a second coat of paint. I had to call them back for a follow up visit. He fixed some things, but did not take care of all the imperfections I had marked with little pieces of painters tape. He also touched up the walls around the trim, and in doing so put some white streaks into the wall which weren't there after the first visit. I guess he was using the same brush to apply color as he had used for the white. On a positive note, they did paint sharp edges between the ceiling and the walls and the trim. In summary, I feel like I paid a lot hoping to get a quality job, but got an average job instead.

Shortly after contacting Solution Painting, Mario, the owner, came to my home to provide us a fair "on the spot" price estimate. During our meeting, he made several work recommendations that we both appreciated and accepted. I appreciated that his estimate included the cost of materials as well as labor. Once we decided to hire Solution Painting for the job, Rosy, at the home office, immediately accommodated our needs and scheduled the work to begin the following Monday morning between 7:30 and 8:00 am. Ezekiel and his crew arrived on time early Monday to begin the job. They were punctual, polite, trustworthy and extremely hardworking. They worked eleven hours a day to complete what could only be described as a "huge" residential project in just 6 days. The quality of their work is extraordinary. Now that they are finished, our 26 year old house looks brand new. I will gladly hire Solution Painting in the future and would recommend Solution Painting to anyone looking for a quality wallpaper removal or interior painting job.

Overall Solutions Painting provided an excellent experience. Their Value and Quality was unmatched and they have my highest recommendation! Pros: Rosy (reception/scheduling) was great, responsive and helpful. Mario (Owner) showed up on time and ready to perform a detailed estimate within 2 days of first contact. Quote was well below other contractors!!! Crew showed up ontime and ready to work. They had the unit taped, prepped and ready to go with amazing efficiency. Completed the job in less than one day without cutting corners. Came back to correct minor issues the next day even though I had already signed the final inspection and made payment (awesome!) Cons: None. If you are looking for painters these are your guys. I do not think you will find better value out there. I did substantial research and got numerous quotes. Solutions was significantly less expensive, went out and got the colors and materials I wanted, showed up when they said they, and knocked the job out of the park.

This is the second time we've used Solutions and they exceeded our expectations both times. The crew is punctual, polite, and incredibly careful to use drop cloths, clean up, etc. The quality of their work is excellent, and they take great pains to do things right. This time we had them repaint all our stairwells and hallways (3 of them). They did things like remove the wooden banister and paint it away from the wall to ensure good coverage and no splashing on the walls. They are just top-notch, and I would highly recommend them!

Mario, the owner, came out to provide one of several estimates I obtained for the reconstruction of my basement. The basement had been torn down to the foundation for mold removal. Solution's estimate was very competitive, and offerred the best answer to the challenges I faced with rebuilding multiple rooms and matching to existing finished areas. Work commenced within a week. The crew showed prompty, as scheduled, everyday including Saturday, and worked until late in the evening with very few breaks. The quality of work was fantastic. The owner made several visits to check the work of the crew and took time to teach his team. Mario's personal attention showed me that his is a company that values quality and customer service. The job was finshed early and on budget. From scheduling and billing with Rosy at the office to working with Mario and his crew on site, I am completely satisfied with Solution Painting's work and have hired them again for additional work.

Ezekiel and his crew were punctual, professional and did an impeccable job. Very pleased with Solutions Painting and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a good paint job. The price was great and my condo looks fantastic!

The guy giving the estimate had to reschedule. That's ok, that happens. And I have to say that Rosie the receptionist is really kind and helpful when I've talked to her. And I do have nicely painted walls and ceilings, and the quality is better than I could have done myself. But there were a few things that really soured me on the experience. In most places the trim work is good. But other places, it's really wobbly. The windows have grey brush marks well outside the place where the two colors meet. This should have been obvious and easily corrected, but wasn't. There were a few things I feel I should have been told about but wasn't. They broke a light bulb in my bathroom and hid it in the corner, I guess so I wouldn't ask them to pay for it? Never mind paying for it, what if I had stepped on it?!? They also banged up a mirror when they moved it, and one of the towel bars they removed they put back loose and so the next time I dried my hands, it came out of the wall with a piece of wall with it. The supervisor had left the job early, so that may explain why I wasn't told, but if he's going to leave he needs to have someone there who can effectively supervise. Basically, since the work is really good in places, I think the real issue is that they rushed. This was a one and a half day job, but they rushed to do it in one twelve hour day and that's why they made mistakes. The other big issue I have is how I was advised about selecting paint and treatment of my paint. I had a dark color in my kitchen and the guy talked me down from semi-gloss to satin. I don't know if this would make a difference, but the following week I tried wiping the window sill with a wet paper towel and paint came off. I called Solution Painting in a panic and they assured me that in the cold, it takes longer for exterior walls to dry. Three months later and I accidentally spilled water from the counter to the wall. It was on the wall maybe fifteen seconds while I got a paper towel, and it was still noticeable where the water spilled, and paint came up with the towel. Now, it's gotten less noticeable a week later, so maybe it's still drying. But basically, I feel like one of those people who bought a luxury car and is now afraid drive it. Only I live there, so that's not an option. It would have been better if Solution Painting had better expressed the limitations of my paint choice, and also given me more information about the care for my paint. Overall, I like my paint. But for the money- they were pretty expensive but pretty highly rated here, I'd expect better. This could have ben a truly positive experience if some easy steps had been taken instead of the team rushing and not taking the time to communicate.

The job went well throughout the whole two week process. The team was very responsive to my requests.

I chose this painter because they supplied the materials & paint with their quote. I wanted a higher quality paint so all I had to pay was the difference. They came within a week of the estimate, were on time, and were fast! This guys operated like a well-oiled machine. In two whole days the entire job was done and it looks fantastic. There was a lot of wall repair to do, but these guys handled it like pros. The fact that they also performed hand sanding of the walls between each coat was a plus. I've found my painters for life.

Solution Painting provided an in-person estimate on a Monday, December 10th. I called back on Friday the 14th to schedule the job, and they completed the work the following day on a Saturday (the 15th). A crew of 8 guys arrived a little before 8 AM, and they worked until almost 7 PM. The crew was courteous. They covered up all of the exposed furniture, put up a plastic barrier to protect rooms that were not being painted, and patched the walls/ceilings prior to painting.

The painting crew arrived on time, assisted in moving things out of the way, most professional work. Completed in an efficient and timely manner. All work was well done.

We contacted Solution Painting on Wednesday 1/30/13 and Rosa set up an appointment for an estimate for the next day. On Thursday 1/31/13 Mario came out and we showed him what we wanted done and our concerns. Mario understood and responded "no problem-dont worry". We wanted our kitchen repainted and all of our ceilings and all of our woodwork trim on both floors. Also we wanted wall paper removed from one room and the walls repainted. Finally, we wanted our gable storm windows removed and the inside surfaces of the outer window frames recaulked and painted. We were worried about removing these windows as it had been many years since they were last removed; they are heavy and they needed cleaning too. But again Mario assured us "no problem-dont worry". Mario prepared the estimate and told us they could begin work on Monday 2/4 and left. We thought about their proposal and contacted Rosa later that day and gave them the go-ahead. On Monday, 2/4/13 at 7:30 am eleven workers showed up ready to paint! On the second day we had three painters and by late afternoon that day, Tuesday 2/5/13, everything was finished. Throughout the process the painters were very well organized and professional; they were careful and polite.They cleaned up when finished and returned furniture and wall hangings. We are happy with the finished product. There were no surpises or add-on costs and everything was accomplished per their proposal in less than a week from beginning to end! It was as near to being a painless process as possible.

Was on time and reasonably priced for the amount of work they had done. Sent three vans of men and finished one day earlier than expected.

They were great!! Responsive, quick and reliable. They were flexible when we asked for additional work to be performed. Their rates are reasonable and the work performed was great. We had drywall done by another company 2+ years ago. Their work was much better. We hope to use them soon to re-drywall the upstairs.

We experienced water damage to our plaster walls as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Solution Painting repaired plaster in our kitchen, dining room, and two bedrooms, painted to match our existing colors (we provided the paint) and painted one additional bedroom (again with paint we supplied). They were prompt for every aspect of the job including the estimate and the repairs themselves, and were flexible when we asked them to paint two additional rooms that were not a part of the original estimate. Everyone we encountered from the company from the estimator, receptionists and the work crew were friendly and professional. The crew worked extremely quickly and did everything they could to minimize the effects of plaster dust within our home (though we did have to do a thorough dusting and mopping, and clean our kitchen from top to bottom, though this is to be expected). They were extremely respectful of our things and did a magnificent job on the cleanup. We found not one glob of plaster, chunk of old plaster, splash of paint where it didn't belong, etc. They did a great job and we are thrilled with the results. Would totally work with them again, especially knowing that they perform other handyman services. UPDATE: They came back on 7/24/13 to resurface and repaint the walls in our living room, stairwell and upstairs hallway, and to repaint the trim. They did such a fast, thorough and beautiful job. Once again, everything was cleaned and left sparkling. It took 5 guys about 10 hours and cost $1800. Professional job all around. Thanks!

I'm really pleased. They were very responsive and friendly - particularly the woman arranging the schedules. She was wonderful. The estimate was performed exactly on time, and was fair. The workers arrived on time, covered everything - from the walkway through my living room to the kitchen, to a couch nearby, and the entire kitchen in plastic before starting. All work was completed in a timely manner, and the workers took their lunch while the drywall was drying, which was very efficient. They used my paint, and did a great job putting my kitchen back together. I would recommend this service to my friends.

Owner met with me immediately after I bought the property and painted my condo before my move-in date (less than a week). When a problem with the paint type was identified on the day of the painting, the correction was made quickly without any need to contact the owner. All work was completed by the end of the day. The quality of the work was outstanding.

They arrived on time and were very nice. Asked how the service was at the office to ensure their customer service was good, and I mentioned they had given us an estimate before but we saved money by having friends paint. Then he proceeded to point out the imperfections with their work, and even left saying how I had done a lousy job painting the door - you could see brush strokes. I get it and I'm sure they provide great work but they need to watch insulting the customers.

I called the company and Mario came out to the house 2 days later to give me an estimate. He provided the estimate on the spot and said his guys could start ASAP. I called the office # to schedule and that was that. A crew of about 5-6 guys came to the house for 2 days and finished all the work outlined above. They were very professional and covered all the floors plus the counters in the kitchen. They even touched up a few other items that needed some paint.

After water damage from super storm Sandy, I got an estimate from Solution, based on Angie's List reviews. I also contacted another A-rated company which took longer to respond. I went with Solution because of their responsiveness. First, I had exterior work done, 4 windows, to be sure roofing repairs were holding up before proceeding to the inside. They were willing to do it on my schedule and on my days off. The 3 men were friendly, competent, conscientious & thoughtful. Everything they did looks as good as new, in my very old house, where nothing really ever looks new!! Ceiling drywall repair created a lot of dust, and I have a dust allergy. I appreciated that they did their best to seal off areas from the dust & to clean up afterwards. There was still a lot of dust for me to clean off surfaces, but they vacuumed everywhere when they finished. They were careful with moving objects & helping put everything back in its place. The interior job was completed in one day which was terrific, b/c we had thought it would take two. I would definitely use this company again. An added bonus: their new receptionist, Rosy, is very responsive & lovely to deal with.

Timing of the work to coordinate with another comany's reflooring went as arranged. Completed work on schedule -- very expeditious, courteous, and cleaned up well. Upon inspection, I asked them to fix some minor escapes on the edges of some crown molding (uneven edging), which they did on the spot. I would give them all As but for issues with the paint and painting methods applied. I had carefully picked the paints and finishes I wanted. Progressive said there would be an extra charge unless I used their paints. I agreed to use their matches. The colors truned out fine, but the wall finish has a slightly higher gloss than I desired. Also, had I to do it over, I would specify that the doors must be brush painted -- not rolled. I don't recall them bringing up these method options. Finally, I was assured that the white trim paint would not have the typical stickiness, but it does. I wound up with acceptable, but higher gloss walls and lower gloss doors than intended -- 'aw sucks'. Use your own paint selections and specify rolling or brush painting where applicable.

This company was excellent and fast! The quality of the work was excellent and they completed my 3 story townhome total paint out in 2 days! The also did detailed window trim and crown molding/chair rail work. They were very responsive to my specific concerns and even worked around my huge dog in the house at the same time! They arrived on time ~8am with about 12 guys to get the job to efficiently and with high quality. Maybe a little pricey, but worth it for the care and detail they applied.
