Everything went great! This was my first time using Angie's List and I'm glad I did. The company that cleans my gutters gave me an (unsolicited) quote for power-washing for close to $800. I had wanted to power-wash our house for awhile, but I definitely did not want to pay that. I called Solutions Painting and after a bit of phone tag, the owner Mario came out the same day and gave me a much less expensive quote. His team came today and put in four hours of hard work. It looks like we have a new house and a much cleaner patio and driveway. I wasn't expecting them to power-wash anything but the siding, so seeing the cleaner patio, driveway and walkway was a wonderful surprise! I did have to ask the team to move everything off the lawn (we've left towels on there before and because of the full sun, we'll see an imprint of the object if it's not removed fairly quickly), but they did so promptly. I had a great experience using Angie's List and Solutions Painting!

The crew was punctual, precise, careful, clean, and thorough. I was extremely pleased by the end result as well as the process. My house looks great and I have never seen a crew be so careful to do a thorough job AND clean up after themselves. I had other estimates, but they were up to 3/4 of the estimate given by Solutions, but only offered about 1/3 to 1/4 the work. These people do it RIGHT -- replacing all rotten wood trim with PVC, scraping and priming everything, 3 coats of paint on some areas, two on the others. If you want it done right, this would be a good contractor to pick. If you want a so-so job (like painters who use combination primer and paint, and only scrape and prime where they need to replace trim) then this is the contractor for you.

It didn't. Long story short, we arranged the day around this. By 10:30 no one showed up. We called the number. No answer. We had an impromptu yard sale while we held out hope for someone to arrive but it never happened. Thus we went somewhere else. Will write a stellar review on them. I guess, unless an emergency occurred, businesses should at least call. Otherwise, the customer realizes that their time and money is not being respected and this is a classic no-no in business if you want to make it.

Things went fine. No more need be said.

The team repaired holes in the wall due to curtain rods, fish tank pipes, etc. They repaired, drywalled, sanded, and painted to perfection! They also repainted my entire basement and did a FANTASTIC job. I was very impressed by their prompt arrival, they efficiency in which they moved and protected furniture, covered the floors, patched, painted, and put everything back. I am now working with them to remodel two bathrooms!

The fellow who came to my home was not terribly professional. I couldn't express a complete thought without him interrupting with rude, demanding questions. He seemed thoroughly perturbed with me. He was arrogant and abrupt and he was only there for an estimate. Can't imagine working with him.

This company did a fantastic job on our porch and exterior door frames. The original contractor had simply painted the raw wood, so after a few years the paint was fading and peeling away. The Solution Painting crew stripped off all of the old paint from the posts, rails and slats, sanded the wood clean, primed the wood, and added several coats of quality exterior paint. They also repaired a couple of rotted parts in the wood that needed to be filled and painted over. They did the same for two exterior door frames that were in pretty bad shape. Throughout the day the team members were courteous, quiet, and hardworking. They took the time to do the job right and to clean up everything as they worked and at the end of the job. I recommended them very highly if you want a good quality paint job that will last many years, instead of some slapdash work that you will need to do over. These guys do it right the first time.

Wow! This was the greatest contractor I have ever hired. They did in 1 1/2 day what it would have taken me weeks to do and they did it to perfection. Look no further if want quality painting done as agreed to and at a competitive price.

The crew at Solution Painting is very professional and works hard. Owner Mario Vega emphasizes preparation, and the men who work for him do an excellent job of ensuring that surfaces are ready for the primer, let alone the finish coats of paint. Solution Painting also provides carpentry services when needed. Our 1890 home needed a good bit of preparation, and we are very pleased with the final results, both inside and out.

I could not be happier with my experience and will never use any other painter. Mario is an honest, professional, conscientious businessman who takes great pride in his work. (A very rare breed today.) The finished product reflects this work ethic. I also felt that his prices are quite fair. Once hired, he and his crew arrived at the job promptly each day and worked steadily. You could see that Mario's crew shares his pride in the work they do. Everything was done meticulously, with great attention to detail. All crew members were kind and courteous and kept the site spotlessly clean. All of this plus an amazing paint job! My 80-year-old frame Cape Cod was in serious need of some TLC and Mario and his crew were exactly what the doctor ordered! I cannot believe what a beautiful job they did, nor can my neighbors, who continue to compliment me on how stunning my house looks. I have had quite a bit of work done on my old house recently and have been happy with most of the contractors I've used (taken primarily from Angie's list) but I have to say that, even among this fine group, Solution Painting stands out as a star. Call Mario for your next paint job. You'll be glad you did!

My overall experience was excellent. Mario showed up in person and on time to give me a quote, even though I was 20 minutes late (love that traffic). He came in much lower than other estimates even with Groupon and Angie's List deal offers. I then came home one day after work and the job was done. It was done very professionally and looked great. I would use this contractor for any project around my house. The only way they could be better is if they had an online payment option. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend Solution Painting.

Showed up on time and did a good job. They finished a bit earlier than estimated. At the end of the job, they asked me to do a walk around with them. I found a few items which I wanted corrected and they did so without question.

I setup an appointment with Mario to get an estimate. He arrived an hour early and because I wasn't there, he called me on my cell phone. I told him that I would be there to meet him at the appointment time, but no earlier. He sounded very annoyed and agreed to wait. I met him at the appointed time, but he still seemed put out that I was not available earlier. He quickly scanned the condo that I needed painted. He offered a more expensive ceiling paint option, which I told him I wasn't interested in. Again he seemed annoyed. He quickly scribbled down a quote, which was THREE TIMES, more expensive than other estimates I received.

We have used this company twice this year (also wrote a review in November 2012) and have been very pleased with Mario (owner) and his crew. We've had our family room, dining room and a bedroom painted. They have also put in some fans upstairs and a chandelier in our eat in kitchen area They also did some minor carpentry. Every project has been done with care. They leave your house cleaner than before the job started. They take great pride in their work and obviously have the expertise to do the job right, Mario gave me an immediate estimate and it was very competitive. They may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. In this case true professionalism, efficiency and a great finished product, done quickly and correctly. I highly recommend this company and I'm sure we'll be using their services again.

They were very friendly and professional. I was very impressed by the fact that he gave me an honest opinion in that he didn't think I needed to spend the money and paint at this time.

They performed - as before - superbly. They showed up on time, went straight to work, did everything in an excellent fashion, and cleaned up before they left. We will continue to use them on other efforts. A great company.

Exceptional service! Mario Vega, the owner supervised the job himself. The painters took great care to protect the furniture and floors. They did a high quality job and were very professional.

Mario provided us a competitve, but reasonable estimate for the work and his crew was very thorough in their execution of all tasks. The crew showed-up on time, were very professional in their interactions, and completed the entire project the same day. Moreover, they took much-appreciated measures to ensure surrounding floors, furniture, plants, etc. were all protected from paint splatter and any incidental damage. The finished product was superbly done and even after more than nine months of regular use, still look great. We will definitely use Solution Painting again for future needs.

Solution Painting painted the exterior of my house recently. I was really impressed by the professionalism of their office staff (Rosy) and crew. They were able to accommodate additional carpentry and painting projects after the job started. The prep work that the crew did was extensive, even my neighbors commented on how hard the crew worked. They did a fantastic job and thoroughly cleaned up the site prior to leaving. They even polished my gutters so that they were as white as the new trim! Mario, the owner, seems to care greatly about doing high quality work and satisfying his customers, as well as taking care of his employees. I chose this company largely due to their excellent consumer reviews and reasonable estimate. They exceeded my expectations!

Went very well. Prompt, courteous,through. Excellent results went the extra mile.

Although the condo was practically move-in condition, I figured new paint to 750sf of space would be a nice makeover for the condo before the next tenant moves in. My coworker recommended Solution Painting, Inc. I met the estimator, Mario, on 2/19. He arrived on time. His visit lasted about 15 minutes. He noticed the condo was vacant so he recommended painting it all including ceiling. While not important to me to have it all painted, I was restricted on budget but Mario worked with me to a number I was comfortable with and it the best, if not perfect opportunity, to do so before the new unit is occupied. Once we agreed upon the SOW with the price, I entrusted Mario with my rental house key. I had flexibility since the unit had not been rented out. The job was completed in 1 day on 2/21. Mario called that evening to let me know he had returned the house key. He called again the following day to follow up since he hadn?t heard from me. I did not return to visit the condo until 2/24. It was not a surprise that the new paint made the place more beautiful. Upon further inspection, the holes in the wall that I had disappeared without a trace; there was hardly any noticeable paint splatter/spill around the floor, the window ledges were painted with semi-gloss with care around the mounting brackets I had installed on the window ledge to support new string-free window blinds. They did a very neat job. But the most noticeable difference is the lines in a room and how the room appears. Since I had the rooms painted in different colors?the area where ceiling and wall meets, that line is impressively straight. Mario is spot-on when he said I should consider painting the ceiling because my walls looked crooked during his visit. I would have never guessed what a difference it made. Wow. This is by far the best paint cutting job I?ve seen including the professional painting jobs from friends? homes. I am happy to say it was money worth spent. Not that I had any doubt for renting it quickly, it just made the place more attractive to the prospective tenant. Two months have passed since the painting, a couple other positives surfaced. I learned from my neighbor, who witnessed the home painting work from the outside, that the painters sanded the walls. I didn?t even know. She said they were ?sanding madly? which may explain why the paint finish looks so smooth. I remember my walls having imperfections. And another look around, I started to pay attention to the wall plates and light switches and realized that the painters removed the covers to paint under and installed them after they were done painting. They did the same for the bathroom hook, towel bar set and ceiling vanity light fixture. While it would go without notice to many, it is not common for a painter to take the time. Most cut around the covers. That is an example of level of detail and quality. Having said, if you?re looking for quality and detail this painting contractor is an excellent bet. Their rate is pretty competitive. I have had painting by other professional painters for less but no other projects have gone smoothly and seamlessly. I would use them again.

I really had a positive experience with my first Angie's List company. This company had a reasonable quote, came on time, did a quality job, cleaned everything, and most importantly communicated with me frequently. I would definitely recommend using them and if I need to repaint the entire apartment again, I would use them again. Thanks Mario and team!
