Mario (owner) came out to give the estimate. Very professional and straight forward. Work crews showed up on time. Quality of work was truly outstanding. They did the correct surface preparation that many contractors seem to skip. Work completed on time. Crews were professional and courteous. This company exceeded all expectations. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The damage was only in a small area, so I was surprised at the estimate of $600.00. But Mario explained that to match the wall and ceiling paint, they would have to repaint the entire wall. Then there was another matching accent wall, that also needed painting. We said yes, and were very pleased with Painting Solution's professionalism and punctuality. They showed up on time and did the work very quickly - to excellent result. Their edging and thoroughness is amazing.

Solution Painting did an outstanding job. The owner, Mario, was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and communicated an exemplary work ethic. His crew was thorough, skilled and polite, worked very hard, and cleaned up carefully at the end. The painting was neatly done; gaps were carefully caulked; rotted wood replaced; gutters cleaned; and windows cleaned at the end. This company exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this company.

Mario, the company owner, came as scheduled but first called the day before to confirm our appointment to give us an estimate. After seeing what we wanted done, he gave us very good suggestions that would make our project more complete, helped with paint suggestions, and then gave us an estimate while here. It only took about a week to set the date for the work to be done. Four painters came to do this work and they sanded, patched, calked, moved furniture, and totally covered everything else in these 3 rooms. In one day these four painters completed all the work except to replace some of the furniture and curtain hardware which was done the following morning. Before the painters left they cleaned up all the work areas. We couldn't be more pleased how our freshly painted rooms look now and highly recommend this company.

Solutions Painting did an absolutely excellent job. I highly recommend them and am already planning to use them again. It was easy to schedule an estimate and Mario the owner walked through our house with me and discussed the work that needed done. There was not a long complicated quoting process, I showed Mario the work, he made a few small notes and gave me a price for two coats on the walls, one coat on the ceilings, etc. Mario's price was about 1/3 less than his leading competition on Angie's List. Solutions was able to get started on the work in about a week's time and they worked their butts off for several days. At one point I think there were 8-10 painters working on our house all at once. This helped to get the work done quickly with minimal impact to our family living situation. The painters were very nice and professional, always showed up on time in the morning and we were never worried about our job being completed on schedule due to always having people onsite on a consistent basis. The painters themselves did an amazing job - everything was taped off (rooms being painted isolated from other parts of our open floor plan house with plastic sheeting) - everything was sanded and painted, all holes and cracks cared for, etc. These guys are very meticulous! The also handled moving all non-breakable furniture, etc. During the estimate, Mario noticed my front door needed painted and he told me if I told him the paint color, he'd have them paint it for me. It wasn't a huge priority to me and honestly I forgot about it. 2 days into the job when he came on site to check their work, he reminded me that he would like to paint the front door. I gave him the color and he showed back up with a small bucket and had the front door painted at no additional charge. It looks great and is a great anecdote to share with all my fellow Angie's List members as to the kind of company and people you are dealing with. Overall, very pleased with Solutions Painting, could not be happier, no complaints whatsoever.

This is the third time I have used Solution Painting and would continue to use them.

Ultimately we ended up hiring another painter for the work, because their quote was about $300 lower. BUT I was very impressed with the company's responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail. My initial call was answered promptly and professionally- I didn't have to leave a message and wait for a call back. They scheduled me for an estimate later in the week- I also got a reminder call from them the day before. Mario (the owner) came over to do our estimate (he was exactly on time, which I always appreciate). He provided a very detailed explanation of their work and also made recommendations that would make the job look even better (re-painting the ceiling and trim, for example). I also received a courtesy follow up email 48 hours after the estimate to see if I had additional questions. I would have loved to hire them but I had to go with the slightly cheaper option. I will definitely keep their information on hand for future projects!

I was not able to be home to keep the appointment for an estimate but my wife was and let the estimators in the house. Estimators were punctual. In order to save money, I had done some painting myself in the downstairs rooms/hallway. This involved a great deal of labor that involved taking off old wallpaper, sanding, and carefully prepping the walls before painting. I was just interested in getting a price for someone to paint the ceilings of the rooms. I am told by my wife that as the estimator walked around doing the estimate, he made several remarks critical of the painting I had done and wanted to know why I wasn't home for the appointment. So in addition to an estimate to paint ceilings I also received an insulting critical review of my own painting skills. I don't know how this company has the audacity to come into my home and behave in such an unprofessional and rude manner and will not be considering them for the job.

We whole-heartedly recommend Solution Painting, Inc. Mario and his crew are extremely good at what they do. Professional and honest, they take great pride in their work. We could tell from the first minutes of watching them that they are not your average painters. We have a large house and they hand-sanded every inch of it, then cleaned all the wood with TSP (not just pressure washed) to ensure all the surfaces were ready for the primer. Then they applied a coat of primer on the entire house (not just spot priming). Finally they applied 2 coats of high quality paint. Amazing results. They spent an entire day on our wooden shutters?hand-sanding, filling holes/gaps, and priming! We were astounded--painters that will take such care to ensure that the surface is prepared so that paint will last. Wow. The crew arrived and were working by 8am every morning. They worked until 7:30 pm, carefully cleaning up after themselves. They spent 5 days on our home, doing it right. No short-cuts from this crew. They were professional, friendly and honestly wanted us to be satisfied. We are more than satisfied, we are thrilled. It is hard to compare Solution Painting, Inc. with work done by other painting companies?it's definitely not apples to apples. We got several quotes from other companies and Solution's price was higher. However, their price was more than reasonable considering all the prep time and the careful work. They did not just pressure wash and spot prime. What you will get from Solution Painting is the highest quality work that will last for many years to come. They do things the right way, from start to finish. Our house has never looked better!

Mario responded to my request for an estimate promptly and met me on time. He was professional, gave me his opinion on what he thought was the best way to perform the work and gave me an estimate on the spot. I appreciated his honest opinion on what he thought was the best thing to do. In retrospect, the small adder to the scope of work saved me plenty of time in trips to the paint store and resulted in a much better looking job. It was a two day job. His crew arrived as promised, they were polite and prepared. While it seemed to me that some of the guys understood English but didn't speak it very well, the crew leader was well spoken and there were no communication issues. I had done some prep in moving and covering furniture, they went a step further and moved some items outside and covered everything completely with plastic sheeting. I noted how thorough they were in preparing the walls and ceilings properly before painting. Any rough or uneven areas received a skim coat of spackle, were sanded smooth, and primed. On the first day five guys showed up at 8 AM, they took a one hour lunch break, and worked until 7 PM. The second day was a smaller crew as most of the work was complete. Again they showed up on time at 8 AM and worked until 4 PM. I really appreciated that Mario came by on both days to check on progress and see if I was satisfied. He didn't just poke his head in the door and then leave right away. He inspected the work being performed and stuck around a bit. I found him to be an interesting and cool guy who obviously takes pride in his work. That's something I can't say for many contractors I've come across. The crew cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and checked in with me to see if anything else needed to be done or fixed. Understand that"clean" means "broom clean", which is standard. I hired drywallers and painters, not merry maids. So there was of course some small amount of moping floors and vacuuming because drywall dust will make it way onto some areas no matter how well things are covered. Everything received two coats of paint, old colors did not show through the new paint, painted lines were straight, and they used the right colors in the right rooms as requested. They did a nice job and I am considering hiring Mario again for other work I have planned.

Consulted with the owner about some drywall repair. We had used him a few years back for painting our home the cost was about 13k. This time when I called him back (which I had to do twice since my first call was not returned) he acted as though he couldn't be bothered. He was rude and impolite. I called anther company and they performed the work for a lower price.

My wife and I just had a ton of electrical work done in our home and as a result we had about 40 holes cut into our drywall and ceiling all over our house. We called Solution Painting to ask to schedule a free estimate and they were able to come the very next day which was great! Mario, the owner came to do the estimate and had a lot of great suggestions in terms of what types of paint to use, etc. He was also able to work with us on the price given our budget. All labor and supplies (including paint) were included in his estimate. They also did not charge extra to move furniture which was a plus because some other places we contacted for estimates charged extra for this. Solution had the best deal and we were able to schedule the work soon after. All we had to do was tell them the paint colors we wanted. On the day they were supposed to start work, they showed up on time with what must have been 8 guys or more. I lost count actually. We did a quick walkthrough describing what colors go where and then we left the house for 2 days while they worked. When we returned everything looked great and our furniture was back where it belonged for the most part. We were amazed that you could not even tell upon close inspection that any holes were ever there. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Solution Painting for all of your drywall/ceiling repair and painting needs.

I don't think I can say enough in favor of Solution Painting. My house was built in 1978 and the wood trim was painted once about 10 years ago. Since then the house developed some wood rot in the eave vents and at the ends of the soffits, and the old paint was no longer gleaming white. In addition, drywall seams on the ceiling of my garage was peeling and the garage walls were in sad shape. Mr. Mario Vega impressed me with his desire to make my house shine, and Solution Painting didn't disappoint me in the least. I was very pleased with the prep work: all external wood was scraped, primed and painted; rotten wood was replaced with solid pine (and I'll be switched, but I cannot see any seams where wood was replaced under the soffits); the garage walls (in addition to the ceiling) were thoroughly refinished;, and the dingy garage is now wonderfully brightened! Yes, I do plan to use Solution Painting again.

All aspects of the work were completed as requested from the initial visit to complete the estimate, to the power washing and the staining. The company was very professional in interacting with us in terms of scheduling and completing all aspects of the project. The quality of the work was top notch. I will use their services again, and I highly recommend Solution Painting.

I am pleased with the two jobs that Solutions Painting has done. If I need painters again - I will call them.

I have been in the commercial real estate investment and management business for over 30 years. Solutions Painting is amongst the best painting contractors I have worked with. I'd hired them in a heartbeat, would encourage others to do the same, and felt very comfortable leaving the house unlocked for the painting team to enter and then have them lock up afterwards. Great protection and clean up too!

Can i give an A+? We hired solution painting to paint the entire interior of our new home to include trim, ceilings and drywall repair. During the job they ran into a major snag because someone had used nails rather than drywall screws to attach the drywall. This probably doubled the amount of prep required before the walls were ready to be painted. The crew patiently and happily replaced every nail with a drywall screw and diligently sanded every surface before painting. The end result is amazing! I wish i could post before and after pictures. Our walls and trim look brand new. The crew showed up early and stayed late and Mario checked-in on a regular basis to inspect the work and see if we had any concerns. If you want painters who take pride in their work, are reliable, neat, and polite, hire solution painting you won't regret it!!

They did nice work, which I am satisfied with. Although the price was not not bad, they came in a little bit over the estimate and I am not sure they gave me the discount that we were supposed to get from Angie's List.

Mario was very thorough during his walk around for preparing the estimate. He clearly explained everything that his team would do, including why he used certain methods or products to wash, prep and paint. When they had to delay the start because of weather delays, they contacted me in plenty of time to meet my schedule. The team arrived on time and started right to work like a sports team, everyone having specific jobs and knowing what to do and when. They took great care to make sure that drop cloths protected plants, bushes, the deck and patio furniture. The job was completed in the time that Mario estimated. They power washed the entire house, sidewalk and drive. They cleaned all gutters inside and out, making them look like new. Pride in workmanship was evident in every team member. They even placed every piece of patio furniture back exactly as it was when they arrived. Neighbors asked me if we were moving, because the whole house looked so good. There were extra charges for rotting wood that Mario could not have seen along the roof line. He had warned me that there may be a few extra areas and included rates for fixing them in the estimate. The extra charges were reasonable.

The Solution Painting crew came early each day, were very hard workers and worked well together. They knew their job, were professional, pleasant and easy to deal with. Not only would I use Solution Painting, Inc. again, I would recommend them highly to friends and neighbors. While you could find a company that might charge you less, it would be very difficult to find a company that would do a better job.

Selected from the many good reviews and was not disappointed. Paint crew was very courteous, professional, and efficient. Removed wallpaper in bathroom and applied 2 skin coats before painting. Paint job looks beautiful and very professional. Thoroughly cleaned up when finished. Completed job in one day and owner came to check job at end. Will definitely use again.

EXTREMEMLY TERRIBLE! First, I advised them, that when they confirmed the appointment to provide a quote, that they were required to call prior to arrival, to ensure that they went to the correct house, as I share my driveway with 2 other houses. They did not call prior. When they inspected the area to give the quote/estimate, they INSISTED that the ceiling be added to the quote. I specifically told them AT LEAST 3 times, NOT to include the ceiling into the estimate. When I received the written quote, the ceiling was added into the written estimate. It should also be noted, that the written estimate was approx. $13,000. I had another handyman that has done work on my property previously, do the same scope of work as was on the estimate for ONLY $2500, and he did a FANTASTIC JOB! $13.000 vs. $2,500 is very OUT OF WHACK!

Very well. Nicely done. The underlying color was so dark that they needed to paint three coats. They were over by two hours, but didn't charge extra.

I appreciated the teamwork between the painters and carpenters, which ensured that no surface was painted before all rotten wood was properly repaired or replaced. The lack of proper wood repair and replacement had been an ongoing problem with each previous painting contractor. The Solution crew always started work on time and worked long hours and weekends to complete the job in a timely manner. This particular job also was made somewhat more complicated by the large number of shrubs close to the home. Mario and his crew worked around these inconveniences without doing any damage to valuable shrubs and plants. The final painting results reflect the difference in a job done by consummate professional workers. Mario, the company?s owner, took the time to survey the entire house for what needed to be done and provided an estimate that was detailed, reasonable and within the range of other companies I contacted. I am extremely pleased with the fantastic final result and the timely manner in which the work was completed. Also, I will not hesitate to recommend Solution Painting , Inc. for future painting jobs.

We had a crew of 4 to 5 painters over 3 days. They came at 8am and left around 6pm. They did an excellent job at painting our house and made sure to cover and protect surrounding areas After they finished, they made sure to clean up any trace of paint on windows and driveway. After power washing and sealing the deck, it looked like new. It was a pleasure to deal with Nadia, the manager: very professional, reliable and very efficient. We will definitely use them for future projects.
