They were very punctual, fast, and professional. They are also very accommodating on some small change of plans. They cleaned up and put all the furniture back at the end of the day. We got all of those done in three days and the the house looks amazing! I will use them again.

I found them through Angie's List and I'm very happy with them. Because of all the snow and the weather, they haven't gotten to them. They've done other things for me besides painting. They're terrific. They're excellent painters. They would come by and do a small job for me. They're very professional. It's an incredibly great job that they do. They're reliable and very fair. They're very nice. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Cannot recommend Solution Painting too highly. They did a three-story town house in only two days, put up with my dogs, who howled at being shut up in back bedrooms, did numerous repairs without being asked to, moved a couch from the top floor downstairs and took the old one out for pickup, picked out just the right colors, and did a first-rate and beautiful job.

This is the second time we have used Mario's company, and it was great. He understands that this is a rental property and worked really well with our tenants. House looks great, tenants are happy and they knocked it out in one day. Very pleased with Mario's company.

The estimate was extremely unreasonable. They didn't charge for the quote. They were fine. They were fast and came right away. They gave me a detailed quote. They were about twice what everybody else quoted.

Mario the supervisor provided me with a fair estimate when compared to other estimates I received. He told me what he planned to do and what colors he would be using, explained the value of keeping things neutral and made very helpful suggestions. Mario came to work with a crew of over 20 painters and all workers were on time. What I estimated to take between 1 to 2 weeks took all of 2 1/2 days. Obviously, Mario had the work extremely well supervised. Workers worked 11 hours on both days, started at 8 AM and finished around 7PM. At no time were any of his painters getting in each others way. All the workers were well trained as the same processes were followed on every wall. Their attention to detail was outstanding! Site preparation was impressive. Before any painting was started, a clear plastic sheathing was put down on my hardwood floors and taped down. Then the drop clothes were placed on top of the clear plastic and covered all the hardwood floors. Drop clothes were utilized throughout the entire painting operations. Furniture that could not be moved to a different room was moved to the center of the that room and protected with the plastic sheathing. As I was replacing the rugs anyway, rugs around baseboards were cut out so that the entire baseboard could be painted and not just to the top of the run. Again, great attention to detail. Old caulk was removed and replaced; nail pops and house settling cracks were fixed with contractor spackle and walls were put back in original condition. All wallpaper was removed and I had a lot. Walls that had ANY imperfections were fixed to include holes I made to hang pictures, those were filled in and painted. All doors, even closet doors, were removed and painted. Anything that could be removed from the walls was removed and not just light switch plates but the light fixtures themselves. Air registers/deflectors in ceilings were removed and painted with spray acrylic. My townhouse windows had wood framing that went inside the window those all were removed and painted. Lastly, I was provided with touch up paint. Not only was Mario on-site to supervise, he also picked up a paint brush to expedite and compete the job. In my many years of using contractors, this was the BEST contractor I ever hired. Work was comprehensive and complete with no short cuts taken. His workers were polite and courteous even when they stopped their work to let me through. I would hire Solutions Painting Inc. again in a minute.

Solution Painting did an outstanding job painting the exterior of our 45-year old house. Alex the foreman was ?GREAT? to work with. Alex and his crew arrived on time every morning. The crew started at 8 am and didn?t leave until 6 pm. They worked very hard and efficiently and did a great job sanding and prepping the aluminum siding and wood trim. Rodriguez the carpenter did a beautiful job replacing the wood rot on the house. Mario the owner didn?t take any short cuts and his recommendations were very helpful! We were very pleased with their work and clean up. We?ve been told numerous times by our neighbors that our house looks brand new. Yes, I would very highly recommend Solution Painting.

Mario came for an estimate. Two days later, his crew was on site. They prepped the two rooms (patched holes, sanding, etc.) and then painted. Finished the work within a day, and the rooms look great. We are now thinking about painting a couple additional rooms and will use Mario if we decide to go forward.

They were very professional. They showed up on time for the estimate and provided a detailed estimate, and delivered exactly what they said they would (and more). The amount of effort put into prepping the rooms to ensure the paint color was right and looked great was impressive. They moved furniture when needed, took off and replaced bathroom fixtures, and the painting was very well done and it looks great. I would definitely recommend them and would definitely use them again. Very courteous and professional.

We had numerous estimates for this job. Mario was the most expensive but seemed to be a perfectionist (as I am) so we chose his company. The experience was wonderful beginning with Rosie setting up the appointment to Mario's visit for the estimate, to the crew's doing the work. We had a leak in upstairs bathroom and drywall had to be cut in ceiling and wall to repair a plumbing issue. Mario arrived to give the estimate punctually. He noted the work that needed to be done. He told us exactly what we needed to move to have the rooms ready as well as what his painters would move (the larger pieces of furniture). We accepted his bid and Rosie scheduled us in a timely manner. The drywall was repaired and the painting was completed with the perfection I anticipated. The crew was very polite and worked diligently. The results were superior. In our opinion, this company was well worth the money. We would hire them again in a second.

Crew was punctual and worked hard. The job was completed in a very satisfactory manner and no debris was left onsite. I would use Solutions Painting again in the future and will recommend them to neighbors and friends.

They did an excellent job on my old house. It was looking incredibly run down and it now looks lovely. Solution Paintings work exceeded my expectations as I did not think it was possible to get my house to look as good as it does without replacing all the siding. They were very professional, prompt, courteous, and worked hard. I will definitely hire them again and highly recommend them.

Painters arrived when scheduled. They worked hard and stayed late. They finished when scheduled and did an excellent job.

I called to set up a quote and the process was quick and easy. Rosy was very nice and helpful in scheduling the estimate. Mario (owner) arrived on time and was very professional. He was very efficient and answered all my questions. He explained the price and what would be included. The process to remove wall paper is not easy and time consuming so I was amazed when he said he could do the job in 2 days . He advised me that he would have additional crew to support the tight timelines I needed to complete the work. The estimate was very competitive and he was able to provide a start time within a week of the estimate. The work was completed on time. I am so happy I let Mario and his team take care of my large master bedroom and bonus room. The process from beginning to end met and exceeded my expectations. The crew were on time and every person was very professional and polite. I appreciated all the prep that was done to limit the mess and/or damage to my new home. The team worked very hard from the moment they arrived to the end of each day. The work was OUTSTANDING. They did a great job on removing the wall paper and making the walls perfect. The new paint looks wonderful and it was worth every dollar to have a professional complete this work. Mario and his team are truly experts at what they do and provide the best customer experience when working with them. I will be using Mario and his team in the future. I would definitely recommend their services. I had a ton of work needed, they finished days ahead of schedule and the house looked like new.

I called for an estimate on Friday Oct 25th. Mario came out on Saturday Oct 26th. Mario informed me that the area where I wanted drywall installed really did not need it. He informed me that he would still install the drywall if I want him to, but it would be a waste of money for me to proceed in that direction. The same thing was said about replacing the door. There was no need for me to do that either. Mario also informed me that the size ceiling fan I have is large enough for the size of the room. The other ceiling fan light is no longer working but the fan is. I wanted to replace the entire ceiling fan. He said it is no need to do that. He provided a simple fix to the problem I was having. I was impressed with his honesty. I received good advice and saved money I really didn't need to spend. Mario did not try to rip me off when the work I needed was not necessary. Thank you Mario for your honesty. I would definitely use Solutions again and refer them to others.

Mario arrived and immediately warned me not to waste his time. I needed an estimate to paint the interior of a rental unit as well as an estimate to paint my two story house in Dupont Circle. He provided an estimate for the rental unit that was several times higher than the excellent paint job that ultimately received from another company. His estimate to paint the exterior two sides of my house was even worse. He gave me an estimate of $8,000 with a 10% "discount" for a price of $7,200. I received two other estimates from highly rated Angie's list providers for around $2,000 each for the same work. I chose one and had the work done to my complete satisfaction for just over $2,000.

The price was the lowest of three bids. Mario and all the crew of painters were on time and very polite. They did a very thorough job, very neat and they cleaned up everything.

It was a pleasure working with everyone at Solution Painting. The scheduler was friendly and professional; during the estimate Mario was punctual, personable, left me confident that his team would do a great job, and did not use any annoying sales tactics; and during the work his employees were diligent and friendly to a fault. The quality of the work is excellent. The exterior of our house looks very much cleaner -- unused cables and old vines were removed, holes were filled, and the siding was scraped/sanded before painting -- and the interior paint and drywall look flawless. They even cleaned the outside window glass without prompting. Heartily recommended!

The owner of Solution Painting INC, Mario, came to my house and after seeing what I wanted done gave me a competitive bid for the job. He was rated high on Angie's List and had many other references. He spoke with knowledge and authority about how his company would handle the job, their attention to detail and their cleanliness and respect for my property. Mario was familiar with how to pretreat and paint PVC - which must be done correctly or the paint will not adhere to the material. This was important to us since our sunroom was new and we wanted the paint job to be impeccable. About a week after signing a contract for the job a crew showed up at the house and power washed the whole house. A few days later another crew came out and I explained everything we wanted done to the foreman. He ran the show from there on with about seven or eight painters scraping, calking, and preparing the surfaces for primer and paint. He kept everyone busy throughout the day and they accomplished a great deal of work each day. True to their word they protected our shrubs and bushes around the house and other areas were protected with plastic or tarp. They were punctual and professional in every way. They matched the paint colors perfectly and painted every detail better than I imagined. The carpenter, part of the crew, replaced a few rotted boards on the garage with PVC boards, and he also used some 2x4 to stabilize the porch railing in the front of the house. All in all I was very impressed by these painters, their work, their attention to detail and pleasant attitude. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for top quality work at a reasonable price.

They did very well in regards to work and they cleaned up after themselves so the overall experience is really great.

It was an empty apartment which made the project easier. It was a HUGE project so I really have no cost comparison. At times there were 3 and up to 5 people working at a time. They are efficient, courteous and conscientious workers. Their finished product was perfect! I wish all my contractors were as great.

Mario's team is excellent, efficient and did all the small things that made for an excellent job. First, Mario came by to do an estimate. You can see by all the reviews why I brought him over and to be honest, he was always my first choice based off all the comments on attention to detail and pride in his team's work. My experience also proved this to be true. Mario's estimate was quick and on-time. He's clearly passionate about his work and explained all the small things that his team was going to do, or fix in my case: sanding, sealing windows properly, removing water spouts, repainting my door and wooden screen, etc. After the estimate, I worked with Rosy mostly on scheduling and price, both of which they were very understanding on and were able to cater to my restrictions. I was able to set up a date for the painting to start the following week. The team was led by Alex, who was a nice guy and got the guys going immediately. I think he jumped from job to job while the team did their thing during the day, but handled the painting of my door and wooden screen door and the obvious quality control you would expect from a foreman. The team was about 5-6 painters, all nice guys and I really enjoyed their own feedback and opinions on my color choice. When they were done with the job, they clearly took pride in their work and did an "unveiling" to me to show my the finished product. In terms of work, they sanded, sealed and cleaned and then applied the primer the first day. The second and third days were devoted to applying 2 coats of the paint I had picked out beforehand, as well as painting my door and screendoor. The guys used rollers, not sprayers, which I appreciated. Mario insists it makes for a better finish and got all the hard to reach spots, and I can't argue with the results as the house looks fantastic. I had a moment of panic when the color didn't look exactly how I imagined, but it was the exact color I picked out and after I got used to it, I loved it. It's just different once you see a whole building in a color, so just beware before those picking out colors. The team painted my concrete steps and finished the second coat the third (last) day, and even painted the front of my garage which I had used to try out several other color samples. This was not in the agreement and so was basically just a nice gesture by Alex and the guys, which was truly appreciated. I recommend Solution Painting 100% and even though painting any house is an expensive undertaking, I feel it was worth it and I am completely confident this job is gonna hold up for as long as I want the color.

I hired Solution Painting to paint the interior of my townhouse. They were great! They did everything in a professional and timely manner and included in the job a lot of little extras--putting up new vanity lights in the bathrooms, new cabinet hardware in the kitchen and even washing all the windows. I recommend them and will certainly hire them again myself. Mario Vega, the owner, came to do the estimate and explained all the steps of the job. He took time make sure I understood and approved all the work that would need to be done. Solution Painting sent a crew of four or five men to do the job. They started work a day early to get all the masking done and kept the schedule perfectly. They masked everything and took great care to keep my carpets clean. All the holes, dents and nail pops in the walls were repaired. They painted the entire house--walls, trim, ceilings and all--in only five days. When they left the place was a clean as when they arrived, maybe even cleaner since they washed the windows. Solution Painting was not cheapest option we could have taken. Their price fell right in the middle of the range of estimates from various painting contractors. I feel like I got quality work for my money, though, and I'm happy to recommend Solution Painting.
