The schedule had to be changed several times because of the weather. They kept in frequent touch by e-mail but I should have called them to get exact information about when they would be here. Our deck was built in 1991, so even though it is in good shape, they had to work very hard to get enough of the old stain off so the new stain would adhere, but being careful not to damage the wood. For as long as they worked, the quality of the work, and as careful as they were, I rated the price "A", but didn't get competitive bids because I've used this firm before and was happy with the results. They gave me an Angie's List discount.

Mario and his team were AMAZING from start to finish. Called on Monday with a request to paint the interior of our new condo, got an in-person estimate on Wednesday, and the job was done on Friday...Ridiculously short turnaround time given the amount of work involved. The receptionist/scheduler (Rosy) was lovely - friendly, responsive, professional - always called/emailed when she said she would. Mario's estimate was great because he was very clear about pros/cons of higher/lower cost options without trying to talk us into anything (e.g., we were on the fence about painting ceilings and ultimately decided to do it) and showed attention to detail (e.g., pointing out how the circuit breaker panel door was gummed up with paint and needed to be stripped/sanded). His crew was also wonderful - the foreman (William) called/texted ahead to let us know when he was arriving each day, and their folks did a great job of protecting hardwood/rugs before the job started - and then cleaning up afterward. There were many holes from the previous owners to patch and smooth, built-in shelves throughout a walk-in closet that must have been a pain to work around, and damaged door edges that needed repair - they dealt with all of it and made the place look brand-new. On the second day, they sent extra crew members to make sure that things were done by 3pm to accommodate movers who were bringing our furniture and boxes in. HIGHLY recommend!

The crew was very professional and finished the job beautifully. We had some rain delays, but other than that it went very smoothly.

I called this company only last week to get an estimate. They sent a rep the following Monday, and he explained my options and made recommendations. When I called the company to schedule the job, they offered to come the very next day. The crew arrived as expected and on time, and they promptly began to prep the areas (the bathroom and living room). They took care to isolate our living room with plastic curtains so there was virtually no paint dust or other debris in other areas of our home. They fixed the drywall and took care to match our colors using Sherwin Williams. The match was perfect, even though our original paint was done by another company. The crew also installed an access point for our home's main water valve. It looks very pretty. Though I was told the job would take two days, the crew was done on the first day. I will also add that the night before the crew was scheduled to come, we had yet another plumbing issue that required drywall to be cut from a hallway wall. The crew fixed the hole and painted over it even though this bit was not part of the original job order. The crew was courteous and professional. I will definitely call this company again when it is time to paint the other areas in my home.

From the start the experience was a very positive one. The first contact was with the office to schedule the estimator - she was polite, professional & personable. The 2nd contact was with the estimator. He listened carefully to our concerns and priorities, offered suggestions & gave us quotes with the appropriate amount of detail to avoid misunderstandings. He gave us 2 written quotes for the whole house & the mission-critical walls. Follow-up with the office to schedule was great - despite my nervous-nelly emails to confirm the appointment & details, the office was friendly & professional. She sent me a detailed 'next-step' explanation. The crews arrived on time each day and began work immediately. Each day they laid down tarps to catch debris. There were no 'idlers'. Typically they broke for lunch at noon & were back to work by one pm. Even though I wasn't paying by the hour, such adherence to typical business principles was reassuring to me - they were part of a well-managed team of professionals. When we contacted the office about the weather forecast of 45% rain the next afternoon (when the job would be finished), he quickly & graciously rescheduled for the following day - calling the crew to make sure they reattached the drain spout & covered an exposed area (they were already on it). The last day, the crew ran a 2nd coat of paint over several sections on the back wall that had been scraped down to the raw wood or really faded. The finished job was outstanding! My husband & I carefully looked over the two walls. We wouldn't have been surprised to see a couple of drips here or there or at least on the ground but that was not the case! The two walls look amazing, the white trim is pristine. The grounds were cleaned up - you couldn't tell they were there. We've had professional painters work on our house before - interior & exterior - not to mention that I've painted the house too (it was grueling & not fun climbing around on scaffolding). This has been the best job by far - the least stressful with the best results. We had 3 quotes from 3 A rated Angie's List companies. Solution Painting was the highest by > 20%. But the testimonial details from past customers, the company's website & my experiences with the first 2 representatives of the company, swayed us to go with Solution Painting. I'm glad they did. We will be using them for future jobs & recommending them to neighbors.

The crew from Solutions Painting was excellent all around. They arrived on time, worked hard as a team all day and did an excellent job on the work. The crew was led by Jose who was very responsive when I asked him about various aspects of the work. The 5-member team was very thorough and unfailingly polite and professional. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to call on them for other painting work in the future.

I have had ongoing water issues in my third bedroom. One of the side walls and corner, which has an old chimney, had significant plaster damage along the full length of the walls. I also recently had a leak that required cutting a hole in my ceiling to isolate the leak and keep the water from running along the walls and into other areas of the house. I previously had these areas repaired by another contractor, but the damage returned. I held off on repairing the area again until I felt comfortable that the underlying water issues had been resolved. The quote that I received from Solution Painting was very competitive and based on all of the positive reviews, I decided to select the company for my repair. Throughout the process, I had very positive interactions with everyone at the company. The crew arrived promptly each day. They helped clear out the room, which included disassembling and moving a daybed. They also fully prepped the area by covering floors and closing off the space where the work was being performed. I expected the team to simply patch up the damaged areas and repaint, but they went far above and beyond what I expected. They ended up cutting out a full section of the ceiling which had been damaged by the leak. They also went over the entire room to correct other flawed plaster, drywall and trim. The room has never looked better. I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

Mario the owner came to the house and we walked through the space to be painted he made suggestions and explained that they would paint ceilings white (which I wanted), all the trims, the walls and match any colors I had picked out at his supplier to save costs. He also explained they would paint the recessed lighting to match the new white celilngs and remove all hardware and mirrors to paint behind rather than around (mirrors glued would not be removed). He made me very comfortable and confident that we could work together and achieve success! Mario explained how to reach him to schedule the work and also what items I needed to pack up so they could quickly move the furniture (valuables, fragile items, books from shelves, etc...). His foreman called me the first day explaining they were on their way and as I'd had surgery so was limited in my activity, Jose and I walked through the space and we marked the appropriate paint color in each room and I provided the swatches so they could order the paint (though I had provided this earlier). We also discussed the additional work on the front porch and outside which was not part of the original estimate. Jose had a crew of at least 12 guys and they worked two very full days @ 10 hours each and they moved and replaced all furniture, removed and replaced artwork and were very quick, thorough and incredibly professional. The house looks great, trim crisp and bright and after waiting for ten years to get the rooms painted - I love it. I highly recommend them for painting interior and exterior, they are professional and provide an incredibly quality service!

Mario came out about 2 months ago for estimate. His crew headed by Jose and Daniel, showed up on time everyday, worked hard until 6 or 7pm. Cleaned up everything. Wonderful people and wonderful job.

Mario was extremely professional. He was able to come out for an estimate on short notice, and he provided a written estimate on the spot. His team was able to do the job in two days, whereas other companies said they would need longer. Mario also recommended some colors, which turned out to be beautiful! We were very pleased with the professionalism, quality of the work, communication, and price. We would definitely use Solution Painting again!

The crew, led by Daniel arrived, promptly at the appointed start date and time. Fortunately for us it was a rainy day, so crews from exterior jobs were reassigned to our project. It was a large crew! All the painters were polite and respectful and worked very hard, some days for nearly twelve hours. The workmanship was excellent. All nail pops and other imperfections were repaired and all the walls were fully sanded. The lines are the straightest we've had done by professional painters. The crew cleaned up after themselves each evening and arrived promptly the next day on time. The job was completed several days prior to the anticipated timeline. Rosie, in the office, was also very courteous and returned calls promptly prior to the start of the job. I would not hesitate to recommend Solution Painting to friends, neighbors, or anyone!

Mario, the owner of Solutions Painting, and his team did a phenomenal getting my Mom's condo ready for sale. They were professional, courteous and on time.

A crew of five showed up in the morning on time than begun working right away -Left at 7pm. Did excellent prep work.

I can't say enough good things about Victor and his crew of energetic and polite men. They did the entire job over 2.5 days as promised. The hall looks so good, I will hire them soon to finish the molding on my interior stairs. Plus I will hire them to paint my own apartment when it needs it. Some details -- The exterior stairs were unfinished for 12 years; they had settled, and all had different measurements. Each one had to be measured and cut very carefully. The molding is perfect. I look at the stairs, now beautifully finished, and wonder how I could have gone so long with the unfinished stairs in such a nice building. I got three "A" rated companies from Angie's List to give me estimates -- Solution's bid was the middle one. But Mario impressed me, and I recommended to our small condo board that we hire them. We are all happy we did!

This is the fourth job Solution Painting has conducted for me and I have been consistently delighted with the results. Mario gave a detailed estimate and recommendations for what needed to be painted, what paint type to use, and neutral colors. I provided a deposit to cover cost of supplies and booking. When the job was scheduled, I received a reminder call and a call-ahead notification on the day of arrival. His crew for this job was led by Ezekiel, an experienced foreman who had supervised other jobs for me in the past. He explained the order of operations and what they would do with the remaining items in the house while they worked (this was a family home transitioning to a rental property; I was still engaged in "post-moving" removal of some remaining possessions). There was no extra charge for item shuffling. Solution Painting had accomplished another repainting job for me 3-4 years ago. When we surveyed the ceilings, for example, some were fresh as new and others needed repainting - this was decided quickly and I trusted Ezekiel's judgement. Many items surfaced during the job - for instance, I decided that the three built-ins needed to be repainted, added partial finished basement repainting, requested a few exterior repairs, etc. These were added, no issues, for a reasonable additional charge. Ezekiel also knew the name of an iron repair specialist for my front iron railing. He called the person up on the same day and the repair was accomplished the next day. To make it even more convenient for me, Ezekiel received the check payment for his colleague and dropped it off for me. The number of painters varied from 5-8 individuals during the four-day job. This crew was focused, diligent, and polite throughout. One above-and-beyond was that, since I have hardwood throughout my home, and just had brand new floors installed on the first floor, I asked them to thoroughly cover every surface to protect the floors. When they were through covering and draping every square inch, there was no unprotected surface and the floors are undamaged. (Whew! Thank you). The final inspection was a delight - everything I had agreed to was done and done perfectly. The master bedroom wallpaper removal was a difficult part of the job - the home had been a model and the walls were not primed or prepared originally. Despite the care of the crew, there were many gouges in the wall as the paper was removed. This vast expanse of wall had to be spackled and sanded extensively to prepare for the primer and paint. When I walked in and looked at each section of the wall, it was smooth and perfect. So they get top marks for Attention to Detail! A few last thoughts: 1) NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use wallpaper (I inherited mine on purchase) unless it is peelable, and prepare the surface first. 2) Do not hesitate to call Solution Painting with all of your painting needs.
