Description of Work: The contractor painted our kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets. The cabinets hadn't been painted in 14 years. On the first day six workers came to prep the room, sealing it from the rest of the house. All entrances and flooring were protected from foot traffic and they prepared an area in the basement for paint spraying of the cabinet doors. I was impressed with the prep work. The actual painting was done over the next two days with fewer workers. The workers were very courteous and professional. The painting was excellent. My wife and I are very happy with the work performed and the quality of the paint finish. They also caulked the back splash on our counter tops which was unexpected. They did other small additional tasks that we asked without hesitation. I would definitely use this contractor again.

Description of Work: I had to fire my prior painters for non-performance. Mario showed up on Friday and gave me an estimate. Saturday at 7:30 AM his crew came, with blowers, heat lamps, drop cloths--everything needed. They started immediately and did not stop working until 7:30 that night. They came back Sunday to finish up for a couple of hours. Very efficient, very good. I recommend them without reservation.

Description of Work: Took a long time to get a hold of and got a pretty expensive quote for a simple job. Granted they might have done an over the top perfect job, but I saved $700 by going with my handyman that did a good job. Patching 4 holes in the ceiling, 2x2 foot drywall cutouts.

Description of Work: We had two contractors from Angie's List provide us an estimate for dry wall repair, wall paper stripping, and painting three interior rooms. Solution's estimate was 30% less than the other contractor, and since both were rated an "A" we decided to go with Solution, and we're very satisfied we did. The project was supposed to take 2 days, but Mario showed up with a crew of 6 and they worked until almost 9 pm to finish the job in 1 day. They moved furniture, put down drop cloths, did their work and then did a great clean up when finished. They were all very professional and I would definitely call them again for any dry wall or painting job.

Description of Work: Solution Paintning painted our home a year ago. My company hired them to paint our offices recently and they, once again, did a fantastic job. The painters were professional, friendly and did a fantastic job very quickly. I will continue to use Solution Painting.

Description of Work: The owner of Solution Painting, Inc. came and provided an estimate. His estimate included the following: 14 shutters at 60 dollars each. Two facia at 150 dollars each. The door, storm door and door Georgian door surround would cost 850 dollars. The estimate limited the work on the door surround to the removal of some paint. I then asked for an estimate for the door surround that would take most of the paint off of the portions of the columns that were curved. I was told that this would take an additional one thousand dollars to bring the total to 1850 dollars. In the process of talking with the owner, he represented that he paid his painters 20 dollars an hour, but would not base his pricing on the cost of labor.

Description of Work: The owner, Mario, performed the estimate himself and detailed the work that would be done. They allowed me to pick my own color that they supplied and. The trim looks great, I never though the walls could look as good as they do now.

Description of Work: Called for an estimate over a week ago, left a message and still no call back.

Description of Work: I requested an estimate for partial painting of the exterior of my house. We are planning an addition and would have the remainder painted following the addition. Mario recommended waiting until the renovation is completed and do the entire house as the estisting paint is fine and will last at least until the addition. I appreciate this recommendation and assessment of the current condition of my exterior. Marion didn't ask for a contract on this visit; but I expect that he will be my choice when the time comes.

Description of Work: Mario was condescending, rude, and overpriced. I had the work done with another company I found through Angie's list for one-quarter the price (with excellent quality and professionalism).

Description of Work: The work they did was beautifully done. The job was to paint an interior stairwell from basement to upper floor, plus ceilings, banisters (from brown stain to white enamel), and 5 doors. They estimate was done quickly and was a few hundred under the next estimate. I was told it might take two days but they finished in one long day. They arrived 15 minutes early, worked quietly (my daughter was home sick and she slept through the work), and everything was cleaned up nicely. I've had several compliments in the last week on how it looks.
