Electrician arrived on time and installed two smoke alarm replacements and replaced 6 ceiling fixtures. He was courteous, professional, and accomplished the job in a reasonable amount of time.

I'm a real estate agent and have used Quality Electric for years. I can always count on them to be prompt, courteous and do excellent work at a very fair price. They are my go to electricians and I recommend them to all my clients & friends.

I requested a professional quality lamp- sturdy- and got the Home Depot kind- medium quality. He did the job....but I thought it was expensive for the time used. a If I had known, I could have picked up the lamp at Home Depot for a considerably lower price.

They were very professional and knowledgeable and had a plan in place. Did not take as long as I expected. Very little downtime. Handled all details with power company. Although not the cheapest price, they are a local company, familiar with these older homes and i thought they would do the best job. Very satisfied.

Friendliest guy. He used to live in our neighborhood and this was our first day moving in. He was genuinely excited for us and gave us a lot of insight into good restaurants, parks, and things to do in the area. The service was super, advised me on how to install another door lock.

These are great folks to deal with -- from the office staff to our tech. Personable and professional guys who explain everything and are forthcoming about the estimated costs. We walked through the house together to talk about the scope of repairs/upgrades and we discussed the options. Our technician listened and was responsive to my questions. He explained everything before doing anything. Work was done professionally, neatly, and in a timely manner. I am satisfied with all aspects of the work. I would request Jerry again for any future work. He's a super nice guy who knows his stuff -- a real professional. Jerry is polite, friendly, respectful, and good with our pets who can sometimes get underfoot.

Jeff arrived within scheduled timeframe, his work was both efficient and professional. Based on our discussions, I asked that he check and install where necessary GFI outlets to bring bathrooms, etc., up to code. Jeff was able to accommodate these additional work requests. All work was cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend this service provider.

Quality Electric offers a "turn key" experience if you're interested in obtaining a back up electric generator. The professionals at the company, Ben and Matt, will educate you on the options you need to consider depending on your electrical needs. They handle the installation from quote to permits to final installation. The project was completed in a flawless manner. I would not hesitate recommending Quality Electric for any and all electrical issues and needs. Ben and Matt have successfully completed five projects for me.

I've used Quality Electrics services twice now--to replace and install new light fixtures, install motion sensitive flood lights, and put in two outdoor electric sockets. I am very pleased with their Professionalism and with how quickly they completed all the work. I definitely recommend them.

The estimate was $2,000 which I thought was a bit high. The external conduit run from the main 200 amp service to the 60 amp sub-panel was approximately 45 feet. We discussed the external conduit routing, where the 60 amp sub panel would be placed as well as (3) 220 outlets for heavy machinery. The job was spec'd for 2 men an entire day. They workers showed up on time and were very courteous. They began work at 8:00, took an hour for lunch and finished the job around 4:00. The overall quality of the work was OK, certainly not top-notch, as they were not fully equipped for the job. First off, they did not have a heat gun to heat the exterior schedule 40 pvc to bend it. Lucky I had one so I let them use it. Second, the outlet run in the garage by code needed a GFI circuit. This was installed in the middle outlet box. Normally for a 220 line with GFI a 2" box would be used. But they didn't have one in the truck so they ganged two 1" boxes together. Frankly, for $2,000, one would expect that they would have the proper boxes for the job. It was sloppy. Finally, they wired the 60 amp sub panel incorrectly. Circuits are supposed to alternate even to odd (one side to the other) in a sub-panel. The sub panel was not wired this way. They even told me they wired the sub--panel incorrectly, but did not offer to rewire it. Being somewhat of a perfectionist, the following weekend, I went to Home Depot, spent $4.50 on a 2" box, un-did the conduit in the garage, removed the 'ganged' 1" box, installed the proper 2" box with the GFI circuit, and reinstalled the conduit/wiring. I have yet to rewire the sub panel, but that is on the list for the winter. Based upon my experience, I would not recommend them to anyone. They are over-priced, exhibit poor craftsmanship and lack of pride and professionalism in producing quality work particularly for $2,000. I am speaking form personal experience, as my uncle is a master electrician and never would have left a job the way Quality Electric did.

Jerry showed up on time and was incredibly professional and even explained every bit of the work he was doing, so not only were the repairs performed quickly, but he taught me a lot as well. He was very attentive to the detail of the lighting he was hanging making sure height and direction of fixtures was perfect. He also informed me that I had the wrong bulbs in other fixtures which was not allowing them to dim properly. I was 100% satisfied with Jerry and Quality Electric. Phenomenal service, good pricing, I will definitely use them in the future.

This was my 4th time using Quality Electric to accomplish an electrical project. The master electricians, Ben and Matt, we're extremely helpful, not only in preparing an estimate, but in answering any questions and making suggestions on how to best accomplish the work. The project was performed in an exemplary manner and I would not hesitate to highly recommend Quality Electric for anyone's electrical projects.

The contractor was available to come the same day I called. He arrived on time and got right to work. He disconnected my fixture and found that the inside parts had burned out. He had replacement parts and quickly fixed the fixture and tested it. We then discovered that the other pendant light was also shorted out. He fixed that one as well and was all done - in 1.5 hours. Very happy with the service and professionalism.

The Electrician from Quality Electric was on time and very considerate. He had to turn off the power and he checked with us first. He found the problem and fixed it as quickly as possible. We were very impressed and so pleased that we no longer had a fire hazard!

This provider was phenomenal. They had provided us a quote and the actual cost came in less than the original quote. The workers showed up on time and were extremely courteous. The fans were installed that morning and they even wired one room so that it would be easy to accommodate a future remodel. We were extremely pleased with their service!

A small outlet plug fire had occurred and another contractor said that the whole house needed to be rewired and the existing fuse box replaced with an upgraded breaker box (a total estimated cost of $14,000). After discussing the electrical problems with Quality Electric Service (QES), they recommended a step by step approach to evaluating the problem and determining what needed to be done to resolve it. They first evaluated the electrical problem, repaired the electrical outlet where the fire occurred, and determined that we should initially replace the old fuse box with a newer breaker box and see if that resolved the issues. While awaiting for appropriate permits to do the work, QES responded number of times and very promptly to the tenants when the power would go out, Once the permits had been obtained they were punctual in installing the new breaker box. After installing the new breaker box, they responded one more time to an power outage in one area of the house, determining that the outlet wiring in one room had become loose. After fixing that outlet there were no additional electrical problems. QES's approach was a very practical and methodical one that saved me quite a bit of money, compared to rewiring the whole house, reduced the down time for the electrical power, and minimized disruption to the tenants. I would use this company again in the future. B

Electricians Jeff and Jerry worked on my home that I am doing major installs and repairs on. They both called prior to arrival to let me know they would arrive soon. Both arrived on time, listened to what I wished to have done, and got to work. They both kept me informed as to how each repair or replace went. Their work was great, Jeff and Jerry were professional and knowledgeable, they cleaned up after the work, and explained all charges to me. I was very happy with their work and will certainly use, and recommend, Quality Electrical Services again.

!I called with what I thought was a short or other problem with our breaker. They scheduled a technician for sooner than other companies were able to and then called to let me know that a technician was available even earlier if I was interested. In the end, we didn't need a technician at all - the gentleman on the phone suggested that it might be a power company problem, not an electrical problem at all. So, I called the power company who came out and fixed the problem for free. The service from Quality Electric--and their honesty and helpfulness--means that I would absolutely call them in the future for any future electrical needs! Thanks!

The Quality Electric Service guys were fantastic. They came with the right equipment, on time, knowledgeable staff and did a wonderful job. Everything was done so precisely. They were extremely careful to not damage the existing property. They were also very careful to clean up after they did their work and were very professional in all of their actions. I recently began replacing the light switch and power outlets in my twenty year old home. Not only are they getting old, but they've been painted over by some knucklehead along the way. Unfortunately, I am not an electrician. I did fine for awhile but managed to knock out power to light over my sink as well as three or four outlets on the same circuit. The technician was prompt, quickly uncovered my mistake, made the repairs, and showed me how to avoid the same mistake in the future and to do a more quality DIY effort on the remaining switches and outlets. The tech even carefully cleaned up after himself. Finally, the price was just as advertised. I would definitely recommend them.

The electricians from Quality Electric were far and away the most competent and professional electricians I have encountered since moving to Northern Virginia seven years ago. I had been working with Dominion and a series of electricians to diagnose an issue where all the lights were flickering in my house intermittently for the past three years. Dominion finally diagnosed the issue as corrosion in the meter box, so I hired Quality Electric to install the new meter base. I chose this company becuase the owner took the time to speak with me on the phone and help talk me through what the repair would entail. The two electricians from Quality Electric arrived right on time and were very polite about a delay on my end when Dominion was 30 minutes late to disconnect the power. But even better, Quality Electric's men determined that there was a loose neutral wire in my service panel, and this allowed me to avoid having Dominion cut the power unnecessarily. After helping me avoid a costly repair that would not have solved the issue, these gentlemen actually rebuilt the neutral bar in my service panel, which saved me thousands of dollars by avoiding doing an immediate service upgrade. These two electricians were knowledgeable, professional, and honest and I consider myself very lucky that I hired them for this job. Neither Dominion nor half a dozen other electricians have been able to diagnose let alone repair the problem that Quality Electric repaired for me using their expertise and skill this morning. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the DMV...they are the electricians you have been looking for all this time. They also have an Angie's List discount and very reasonable prices.
