Description of Work: Replaced 150 Amp panel with 200 amp panel. Installed 20 KW Generac whole house generator. These folks were top notch. Very friendly, responsive and competent. Came back immediately to fix minor issues with county inspection and with a faulty cloths dryer connection. I couldn't be happier.

Description of Work: The electricians with Quality Electric were prompt, polite, pleasant, and did outstanding work for us. They had to make cuts in our drywall to expose the electrical wiring, but cleaned up the drywall debris and patched the drywall. We were very pleased with their performance and have hired them to do further work for us.

Description of Work: Joe, with Quality Electric was awesome. All of the electric outlets in the basement went out suddenly Thursday evening. I called Quality Electric on Friday morning. They said the soonest they could come was Monday morning - this made sense to me. Monday morning at 7:15 I got a call from Joe - he would be at our home in 30 minutes. He arrived promptly at 7:45. He immediately went to work and found that the wires in the electric box for the basement were burning - evidently our box was wired wrong and we have lived this house for 15 years - how frightening. We are so grateful that Joe quickly found the problem and completed the whole job in exactly one hour. We highly recommend Quality Electric for service, promptness and for being very nice people. Description of Work: performed regular maintenance on generac 17 kw generator as per warranty and user manual. The whole service lasted less than 20 minutes. I thought the charge was rather high. I called again when I needed recent servicing in February 2015 and was told that the basic charge for anything is $350 which in my mind is really expensive plus parts and other time if extensive. And they failed to clean and lubricate the choke valve which caused the most recent failure which to me seems like it should have been part of the maintenance call out, I believe, which was done in May 2014 but was not. They know what they are doing (competent, experienced, professional, congenial) but are just too expensive for me on a fixed income with a flat $350 base service charge.

+ -1 moreI called Quality Electric Service because they had a decent rating on a website and they could come out quickly. Had a very nice conversation on the phone with owner, Harry. I explained my situation, needed a new dryer hookup because mine was the wrong type. Harry was very patient and kind and explained quite correctly that I probably had a 50-amp receptacle and a 40-amp breaker, and that in most cases, the existing electrical cable could be re-used, but that the receptacle and breaker should both be replaced with 30-amp versions. Quality Electric was able to get an engineer and assistant in my house the next business day's morning following my dryer delivery (which arrived late in the afternoon). They were courteous. Installation was quick and precise. And they tidied up nicely. They were also very helpful and informative when I asked a few questions for possible future projects. I would recommend them to anyone and will likely use them again.

Description of Work: Fixed a malfunctioning chandelier which tripped the circuit whenever it was turned on, replaced one of the light sockets.

I needed a switch to turn the light on and off, and in less than five minutes they had the switch in the truck. They charged me less than $100 for the whole deal. I thought that was terrific. I always ask for Len Lawson- he does a great job.
