I called to get a quote on repairing a ceiling fan after reading the Angie's list reviews and visiting Quality's website. The gentleman who answered the phone recommended I have a new one handy incase it wasn't an easy fix and it would be more cost effective to replace it. Since the malfunctioning fan was about 10 years old, I decided to just replace it since with my luck they'd fix it to only have something else go wrong with it a week later. The 2 electricians called ahead and showed up at the very beginning of my 3 hour window. They got the job done in a reasonable amount of time and were on there way.

After buying our house, we chose Quality Electric Service based on reviews from here. They were extremely professional and I was very happy with their work throughout. Two service persons showed up promptly on the day of the scheduled work. They efficently removed the old fuse box and replaced it with a modern breaker panel. The box was professionally grounded outside and to the metal pipes. Holes that had to be made in walls were nicely repaired and they also replaced the outside meter box and wire cable supports. Top notch, passed inspection, everything has worked flawlessly since then.

The technician was efficient, professional, and courteous. After successfully installing one light fixture, he saw that the second fixture was damaged. The technician helped me document the damage and repack the box so I could return it to the manufacturer. Excellent service!.

The man I talked to on the phone was very responsive to my questions. The day of the service, the electrician was on time and accomplished the task in about 30 minutes. I was very pleased but have one comment. Since this company's minimum is 60 minutes, if you have a small job like I did, it's probably more cost effective to hire a company that has a 30 minute minimum.The company was up front on the phone about their minimum so I do not blame them at all. I was very happy with Quality and would hire them again if I had a bigger job.

Jerry was very pleasant and very professional. He installed the dimmers. Did not have the part to repair the sconce but said we could schedule another call and, now that he knows the part needed, come come back and repair it.

The Quality Electric people were very organized and professional in every respect: (1) They responded quickly to our inquiry and came out to look at our electrical set-up and give us an estimate. They provided excellent advice on the sizing and placement of the generator. (2) They came out prior to delivery to drive the necessary grounding rods. (3) They made all necessary arrangement to coordinate with a subcontractor for the gas connection, the gas company for a bigger meter, the power company and the county inspectors.. (4) Actual installation was spread out over three days, with the various other people showing up at appropriate times to shut off and turn on the gas and electricity. We were without electricity for only about four hours and without gas for only an hour. (5) One man worked on the new circuit breaker box inside while others were setting up the generator outside. (6) At the end, they demonstrated the generator and all its features.

Both issues were fixed quickly. Customer service was great, and their team was prompt and considerate. I highly recommend them for any electrical issues you have.

I called Quality Electric Service on Nov. 26, and after describing the work that needed to be done, I was told that we could have service people come on Wednesday morning, Nov. 28. Jerry and Dave arrived promptly--even somewhat earlier than scheduled--and assessed what needed to be done, explaining to us very clearly what the problems were and how they could be corrected. They installed a photo cell in our outdoor lamp post, as we had requested; and, also at our request, examined the socket at the top of the post, which appeared to be loose. It was, in fact, rusted out. We needed a new lamp fixture for the post. Evidently taking note of the fact that we are very senior citizens, they offered to run over to Home Depot to get a new fixture, saving us the trip. We gladly took advantage of their consideration, and in no time at all they were back with the fixture and had it installed. They also took care of our indoor problems--specifically, replacing a wall outlet in the sunroom that had burned out as a result of a short caused by a space heater. They checked out our main circuit board and identified which outlets in the sun room were safest to use for high-amperage appliances. All in all, they were considerate and efficient in the highest degree and obviously took pride in their work. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I was grossly over-charged. I would never use this company again or refer them. They took advantage because I was not present during the service call but a relative was. No materials, 45 minutes of work= $340 The tech and owner of the company lied.

We had used this company three years ago, and I had written myself a note to definitely use them again. I checked Angie's List before calling last week, and when I saw they had good reviews I immediately called. The gentleman tried to send someone the very same day, but no one finished early enough to fit us in. On the agreed upon day, two young men showed up exactly on time. I was a little concerned because they seemed a bit young to have a lot of experience, but once they started working they were very competent and knowledgeable. They were able to do the other tasks we remembered that we needed, and we were very happy with their service. We will definitely call them again!

Everything about dealing with Quality Electrical Service was QUALITY. They were very prompt in responding to my request for a quote. They showed up on-time on the appointed day. They were completely prepared with all the tools and supplies required to do the installation of the circuit breaker panel and the generator. Everything was done quickly, professionally, neatly and right. They checked everything thoroughly and were careful not to mess-up anything and completely cleaned-up after the work was done. They brought enough staff to get the job done quickly and done well. They even took the time to check a couple of lights for me that were not working right. I can't say enough positive about them. I will absolutely use them again for any electrical work that I need done.

Workers were very professional, easy to deal with and efficient. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Techs showed up on time, very responsive and seemed very knowledgeable. Didn't use them because their quote was the highest of three by far. Also, they were busy and were not able to complete the job as soon as some of the other cheaper bids. Price and availability prevented me from pursuing further.

Our morning catastrophe was fixed over the phone with Harry's careful instructions. Harry's professional and warm manner (and the fact that I didn't have to spend a cent to correct the problem) convinced me that I will call him with future electrical problems and projects.

Great customer service. When I made appointment, they came out quickly and called before arrival. Both electricians were courteous and efficient, and the price was great. We are very happy.

For what they did, the prices were reasonable. They are excellent and very professional. They are friendly and get the job done.

An excellent experience. I was able to set an appointment for the next morning. The technician called and said he and his helper would be there within 30 minutes. They arrived in 25 minutes and promptly started working on replacing the outlet and circuit breaker. The job was high quality, and the crew was courteous and professional. Call them!

Terrific. Matt & Ben were courteous and efficient. They fixed my problem and advised me on other issues (e.g., dedicating a separate electrical line to the sump pump) when we perform the waterproofing work. I've used Quality Electric in the past and am always pleased with their work.

Overall, it was a good experience. At 10:38 AM to notify me that he would arrive within the hour. The electrician called to notify me that he would be arriving within the hour and he arrived at my condo building at 11:42 AM. After reviewing the job on-site, he returning to his van to get additional supplies he needed. I supplemented some of what he needed with supplies I had on hand, which did indeed save me some money. The electrician was polite and professional. However, given that the outlet was added to a wall that was unfinished -- the drywall was not on the studs and all wires were exposed, I believe this should have been a job that could be performed within an hour. Unfortunately, it took closer to 1.5 hours - which is what I was charged for labor. Fair enough. When I walked him out to his van to complete the transaction, he had me sign the invoice. Before doing so, he told me that the 5% discount for Angie's List customers is not applied to the first $90. Unless I missed that on the coupon available on Angie's List website, I don't believe it is mentioned anywhere and I don't recall that being the policy when I used them last year. After I signed the invoice and credit charge slip in the amount of $175 (it showed an Angie's List discount of $5), he noticed that he failed to charge me approximately $22 for the supplies he provided and said I "got a break." I then asked him if we were OK and he said "Yes." At 4:00 PM, I received a phone call at work from the electrician. He said that he "noticed when he got back to the office that he had not charged me for the parts." I then reminded him that we had already discussed it. He acknowledged, but told me that he was told he had to charge me. I would rather he have just said that instead of initially acting like we had never discussed the matter. In the end, I was charged just under $200 - the vast majority of which was for labor. That seems a bit pricey considering the work performed. With that being said, however, in part because my first experience using this company went so well -- I gave them an A that time -- I will certainly do business with them again. Nobody is perfect all the time. UPDATE 4/9/2012 : To my amazement, I received a refund check from Quality Electric with a very nice note thanking me for my business and apologizing for not meeting my expectations. They refunded the $22 and applied their Angie's List coupon (5% discount) to the first $90. Honestly, what more could I ask for? This act of professionalism and responsiveness, in and of itself, raises my experience from a B- to an A-. I am definitely using them again and recommend you do as well.

Electricians were responsive, friendly and quick about their work, but not all work was done to code and a portion will need to be redone.

I have used Quality Electric for years as a Realtor and in my own home. My go to Electrical service company for all my clients and never, ever a negative experience or bad word. They hardly need my recommendation but I felt I needed to add my voice as they perform quickly doing very good work at a reasonable price. Honest as the day is long!

We lost power on one of our circuits in our house overnight, but the circuit breaker was not tripped. I placed a call in to QES early in the morning, and they were able to fit us into their schedule that morning. Their team showed up within a couple of hours, quickly and efficiently determined the problem, and fixed it with parts they had available at hand. While they were here, we asked for an estimate on some other projects we had been thinking about, but procrastinating on. They provided an informal verbal estimate, and promised to send a written estimate in the mail. It arrived the next day. They were fast, effective, and polite. We were very pleased at their ability to come over on such short notice.

Went very well -- crew of two (including the estimator who was familiar with what I wanted from the initial visit) came, and worked steadily through the list. Did a great job adapting work to an old house, such as running lines down from the attic through the walls; in new part where there was no attic, as they warned me in advance, they had to put in a couple of holes in the drywall to run the lines but then they patched those beautifully and cleaned up every bit of dust; they even matched new outlet cover colors to my existing paint scheme.
