MEADOWS FARMS NURSERY

Just a warning to avoid Meadows Farms for your landscaping needs. We purchased 18 trees and 6 of those delivered were the wrong tree. When we asked for this to be corrected with a delivery of the trees we'd chosen, we were accused of lying and charged an additional $300 to replace them, as the size we'd selected was no longer available. I've never been spoken to as rudely as Ron Meadows, VP of Meadows Farms, spoke to me. As VIP customers of Meadows Farms for decades, you can imagine our frustration and disappointment. The guy who came out to do the estimate was on time and friendly. He provided a written estimate and information about how to contact him. We played phone tag for a few days after we made our decision. But, within a few days we had a preliminary date for the work. About a week prior to the date, the company called and finalized the date for the work. The workers arrived at the specified time on day one of a projected two days for the project. They finished the work at the end of that day and did not need to come back a second day. The finished patio looks great and the workmen left the yard in good condition.

It was not a good experience. They are expensive but I thought it would be worth it since They guarantee many of their plants for life. I called them because many of their plants were dying or dead after installation. A $250 tree, some otto laurels, ground cover and many other plants. The landscaping looked horrible. They did not respond to me for months. Then, sent someone out to my house to look but couldn't find the paperwork for months after that. They finally replaced many of the plants (the ones under warranty) but I still had to pay for labor!! And I paid to have new plants placed where the plants that were not under warranty were dead. Even after all that, some of the plants have died again. My landscaping in front of my house looked horrible for over a year while I waited for them to fix this. Get a landscaper that can do it right the first time so you don't have to deal with this kind of thing!! It will save you money and the hassle.

They did a great job putting the plan, however, it took a long time to get the plan back from them. The person that came here was professional and the plan that he got was good.
