Our lawn is beautiful. My husband likes to mow the yard so he calls us the day before and asks us to mow the lawn so the treatment will get down in there. They came back out for grub worms and they called ahead of time and let us know it will be this much should we do it. I've been using them for 4 years.

They come to visit 5 times. I am happy with it. They are in and out in flash. They are always send email and ask that "we be coming that day if it is convenient for us". They use safe treatments.

I am very happy with their services. I plan on using them again this year and I recommend them to all of my friends. The owner listens and works with you on any problems.

Won't be able to tell until the Spring. Overall, they're a good company that tries to provide good customer support. They don't seem exceptionally responsive to customer concerns though they will eventually respond with an answer. Weeds are my biggest concern and they are okay in that area though every mid-late summer weeds start popping up despite regular treatments.

One thing about Lawn Mate is their quality of service. I'm very happy with them.

We hired Lawn Mate this year after receiving unsatisfactory service from two other local companies and observing the conscientious, quality service they provided several nearby neighbors. Lawn Mate has not disappointed, as they have routinely provided advance notice of upcoming visits to treat our lawn and they have consistently demonstrated a concern about providing quality service rather than rushing to finish an application in order to move on to their next customer. Thus far we are extremely pleased with the service as well as the willingness to answer questions and give professional guidance concerning lawn maintenance.

Lawn Mate was prompt,professional and did a good job with our lawn. We have trees and varied levels of land,so the job is not an easy one. The seed that they used must have been high quality seed because it is still doing well under the tree canopy. I would definitely recommend them. It is nice that the service was done to our expectations the first time.

All on time and on schedule; weed and feed treatment w/soil sampling. This is first treatment in a series - so for, so good! Many weeds and mush clover are gone. Seem confident in controlling unwanted grasses over time.

They always contact you about a week prior to service. I mentioned that some difficult weeds were starting to emerge and the owner promised to increase the weed prevention treatment during the upcoming service. He also offered to come back in a few weeks if the weeds persisted.

We have been relying on Lawn Mate for about ten years. The verdict: look at our lawn...and compare it to some of the others on our street. You'll see the difference quality care makes. Jim Van calls in advance to let you know when treatments are planned so you can get the lawn mowed and, when necessary, mark where the lawn sprinkler heads are located to prevent damage from rototilling when needed. 5% off if you pay in advance by check or credit card, which we do each spring. I highly recommend Lawn Mate!

Use for annual lawn service. Satisfied with service, price and responsiveness.

Company was prompt, professional and courteous, but was to expensive for what we were looking to do and/or spend. I would contact them again for an estimate on another project, but will not use them for this estimate.

Annual 5 lawn treatments per year over last 5 yrs, plus applied lime and sprayed large hedge for problem. On time and always quickly responsive to any concerns. Lawn is well maintained and shows it.

Always call ahead of he service, explain what they plan to do and what I need to do in advance. They leave a detailed explanation of what service was performed and what follow up is required of me. I signed a one year contract for their service last fall and am very pleased so far.

I love this company. They are very responsive to any problem I contact them about. They are pleasant to deal with and they have a high quality product for the price.

My lawn has improved dramatically, weeds virtually gone even though I see some and have told the owner Jim Van. He nor his crew have come by for second treatment (after each monthly service) which is the only problem I have as he said if you are not satisfied with the particular service call just call and they will come by. They also do soil testing and lime treatment for extra fee in my case $99. Did not see lime on lawn but I assume it was applied. It's end of July and crabgrass everywhere in front yard. The reason for this service was to get rid of this problem.

Excellent service! I began using them in the fall of 2010. By early spring my lawn had improved dramatically. Always professional and reliable. Returns calls promptly. I signed up for 5 visits over the course of a year with the choice of full payment or 5 payments paid after each visit. They always leave a detailed list of what services were done explaining their recommendations for water and cutting. We are moving to a new home and will definitely use them again.

This is a small company with low overhead. Correspondence is by phone and billing is usually done by service providers leaving bill on door at time of service; I signed no contract but paid by service. Over four years, cost of service increased by about 20 to 25 percent. I had used the company for four years, was satisfied with the lawn, and in spite of cost recommended them to a friend. I live in a townhouse and my yard is no more than about 12x12 ft. They fertilize grass and shrubbery. I later discovered they charged my friend significantly less ($73 vs $93) for a yard about 20 times the size of mine. When I called to discuss the disparity my calls were not returned. When they called to remind me of upcoming service, I left a message to not perform the work. They performed anyway and left a bill. I called a number of times to dispute the bill and received no return call. Several months later, I received a letter from a collections company and disputed the bill complaining of being overcharged. The owner/president finally contacted me and said he never got any messages. Even though I don't believe my messages were not received, I agreed to split the bill ($43) to resolve the collection problem. I discontinued service and would not recommend this company.

They call and keep me informed several days before they come and I can also change their appointment date as per my convenience. Their pricing is fairly reasonable as well. They don’t blanket the lawn with weed killers and do spot treatment. The quality of their work is good and I have been satisfied with their service.
