Description of Work: GNA Associates are a great provider in the area of Bath renovation. Once a contract is worked out and agreed, GNA will provide anything within the scope of work. They do not nickel and dime you. Both Chaz and Dave are extremely precise, and understand the nuances of bathroom use. Remodels can be tricky, but they are fast and efficient. I also received very good design guidance, for layout of the large stuff and placement of amenities. I would highly recommend this group for bath renovation.

Description of Work: They responded promptly to my call for an estimate and came out when promised to look at the job and provide an estimate. They were not the cheapest or most expensive; I chose them because I felt, based on discussions with the estimator, they knew what they were doing and would do it for a fair price. They prepped the walls of shower stall for tiling, installed two shelf niches, installed wall tile and shower door; installed vanity cabinet. Did a great job. It ended up taking a little longer than expected to complete the job, but they were focused on doing a quality job which was provided. Would use them again without hesitation.

Description of Work: I left contact information with the person who answered my call so I could discuss the possibility of a complete kitchen remodel. I never received a return call, so I removed this company from my list of potential contractors.

First, we would like to apologize for the un-returned phone call. We are still trying to find out how this fell through the cracks. We normally try to return calls within a couple of hours at the most, if not sooner. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we will do our best to get to the bottom of it so this type of thing does not happen in the future. Sincerely, The GNA Ownership

Description of Work: I did do some remodeling with a firm operating under the name of GNA (Greg Norman Associates) about three, maybe four, years ago in the rehab of a rental property I own in Falls Church, VA. As I recall, the work was done quite well, on time, and at a reasonable price. I would do business with the firm again as the rehab of the property was major -- floors, painting, new cabinets and fixtures in kitchen and baths, some "architectural modifications" -- and the finished product was a major improvement.

They were excellent and very good. They were completely professional. I would recommend them. At the end of the project, Greg did come out to take a look and there was a piece I was not satisfied with and they removed it and they made it right so they were very responsive and knowledgeable. The tile guys were good. I was very impressed with them.
Description of Work: They put in kitchen tile and a back splash.

They did a very good job. I was not shocked with their pricing. It was reasonable and not out of line. They stayed close to what they estimated for the final bill and they also stuck to their schedule. They cleaned up well and kept everything neat. I would recommend them to others without hesitation.
Description of Work: They remodeled my bathroom. They took out a tub and put in a walk in shower, installed a new toilet and did some minor rewiring of lights. The materials and quality of the tiling was very good. The lighting and all of the plumbing fixture quality is very good.

I ended up with 2 beautiful bathrooms and a beautiful kitchen but I had some issues with the detail work. They fixed everything I asked them to fix. I did think they were expensive at the time. They were able to meet my deadline within a week. I would not work with them again since I live in a house now.
Description of Work: They gutted the existing kitchen and bathrooms and redid them completely. They installed granite counter tops, put in new fixtures and they knocked down a wall between the 2 bathrooms and then they put the wall back up. There was nothing from the old existing bathroom except for the ceiling and concrete slab.

Overall we are very satisfied with the work that GNA did for us. The worksmanship was top-notch. The only negative worth noting is that we initially ordered crown molding to go above the cabinets, but for some reason the crown molding was not included in the initial order. As such, the project was delayed for about a week while we had to wait for the crown molding to come in, which was somewhat frustrating because the project was moving along swiftly and ahead of schedule until we noticed that there wasn't any crown molding installed. If working with this contractor, we would recommend initially verifying with the project supervisor that all of the appropriate materials are ordered.
Description of Work: GNA performed an overhaul of our kitchen, installing all new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, and flooring. In addition, they built a pass-through from our kitchen to the living room, which required carpentry work to cut the hole and install a countertop / bar on the passthrough. They also successfully obtained a building permit for the passthrough and did a great job of working with our building engineers to re-route the master antenna around the space where we wanted to cut the hole for the passthrough.

I called first to make sure they had what I needed. I drove to their store to select the tiles. They were very patient and gave clear answers to my questions. The tiles were a bit pricey but my contractor says they are quality material.
Description of Work: I purchased ceramic floor tiles from this business. They also provide installation but I have my own contractor. They did not try to sell me the installation services, which I appreciated.

Greg Norman (owner) is great to work with. He’s very creative when it comes to designing bathroom and kitchen layouts. GNA prides itself in responding quickly to inquiries. In fact, their motto is, “Renovations … the right way … right away.” The GNA crew shows up, works hard, does quality work, and cleans up. For our renovation, they gutted our master bathroom, built some new framework, and relocated the exhaust fan, toilet, shower, and bathtub. They also installed cabinets, two sinks, mirror, custom-tile shower, tile floor, tile half-walls, and recessed lights. In summary, they transformed our boring, outdated, one-sink bathroom into a fabulous two-sink (with six-foot counter), updated bathroom. GNA also extended a cathedral-ceiling wall to accommodate a new cedar-lined closet
Description of Work: Greg Norman and Associates (GNA) gutted the old bath, changed fixture locations, and constructed a gorgeous new master bath room In the process they leveled the floor, installed new wood framing, drywall, tile floor and half walls, custom-tile shower, claw foot bathtub, wood cabinets, mirror, moldings, and recessed lights.

It's a real pleasure to work with Greg Norman (owner) who is personable and trust worthy. The GNA crew is very professional. As true craftsmen they take pride in their work. The crew always showed up on time and cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. In addition to building the framework, installing the cabinets and tile floor, hey did all the plumbing and electrical work. As a result, they created a beautiful work room. GNA is a Virginia Class A Licensed, a Member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and a member of National Association Residential Industries (NARI).
Description of Work: Greg Norman and Associates (GNA) transformed an unfinished utility room into a gorgeous laundry and hobby room. In the process they replaced the sump pump and hot water heater, installed a ceiling support beam, wood framing, drywall, tile floor, wood cabinets, moldings, and recessed lights.

Work began putting down carpet protection, setting up a stagging area, and then removing old cabinets, floor tile, lighting fixtures, and wall paper. The two member Greg Norman team installed new water valves for the sink, added a water-line through the ceiling to the refrigerator area, extended a wall to hide my washer-dryer, leveled the floor, installed ceramic tile flooring, installed two recessed lighting fixtures, installed new cabinets, mounted the microwave above the stove, installed all appliances (purchased separately) and painted. The engineered stone counter top was subcontracted out. When the counter top was installed, I noticed a blemish right in front of the sink. David Norman called the counter top contractor and they repaired the blemished area quickly and satisfactorily. I had a problem with the slide on one of the cabinet drawers. The contractor ordered a new part (took about 2 weeks) and repaired the drawer slide. When the work was done, everything looked great and worked well. The work crew was knowledgeable and professional. The arrived on time everyday and only took lunch breaks. They cleaned up the work area every day. The crew kept my condo engineer and office informed about the work being performed. Because of their good work, I hired them to install a dining room chair rail and run a cable TV wires through the ceiling.
Description of Work: I had my kitchen remodeled. The $17,300 price included design, ordering all materials, cabinets $4900, engineered stone counter top and sink. $3100 under cabinet lighting and recessed lighting, floor tiles, plumbing fixtures, and labor.

INITIAL MEETING I had received several advertisements from GNA so I gave them a call. The GNA representative came to my condo and gave me a written ballpark estimate (proposal) for the work I wanted done. I liked the fact that they were a full service contractor and they showed up for the initial meeting. WRITING A CONTRACT After contacting other companies, I had a follow-up meeting at the GNA office (hard to find) to write a contract specifying details and payment schedule with $3600 down payment. I selected my tile, fan, vanity, sink, and tub. (The GNA office/showroom was not very impressive.) Work was scheduled to start several days later. DAY 1 A two person GNA crew arrived on a Monday and set up a stagging area in my living room and on my balcony. They then gutted most of the bathroom removing the vanity, tub, tub walls, exhaust fan, and toilet (each evening they reinstalled my toilet). While the demolition generated large amounts of debris and dirt, the GNA workers did a great job of keeping the my stagging area, building hallways, elevator, and loading dock clean. (Throughout the bath remodel the workers kept everything clean ... my building engineer and manager were very pleased.) DAYS 2-5 the workers arrived around 9:30 and worked to about 6:00. On day two the water line valves were replaced, an electrical switch was moved, and installations were done: tub, waterproof wall board, fan, wall tile, floor tile, and vanity. The tile was BEAUTIFULLY grouted and the bathroom painted. THE CREW worked confidently and efficiently with great attention to detail.
Description of Work: Major bathroom renovation. GNA removed tub, wall tile and wallboard around tub, vanity, sink, toilet, mirror and exhaust fan. Moved exhaust fan switch. Replaced water-line valves for sink and tub. Installed a new tub, sink, vanity, toilet, mirror, and fan. Installed new water resistant wallboard around the tub area and patched holes in ceiling and walls. Tiled the walls around the tub, installed a grab bar, and installed a new tile floor on top of the existing stable tile floor. Painted.
