George came out promptly in response to our initial call and made a thorough examination of the gutters and associated exterior parts of the house that had been causing us trouble. He patiently explained options for dealing with the problems, and we decided to have all gutters and downspouts replaced. Within two or three days, we received from him a detailed and comprehensive proposal for the needed work. We accepted the proposal; and he and his crew began work precisely on the day he had estimated he would be able to start. The work proceeded steadily over three very full days; and as we watched the careful attention he and his team were giving to such details as power and hand sanding the surfaces that were to be painted, we felt confident that our job was getting attention of the highest order. And so it did. The finished work exceeded our expectations. Everything is pristine and sturdy. The happy outcome is the result, we are sure, of George's very high standards of workmanship. He's an artisan of the old school, satisfied only with doing the best that can be done.

They did a beautiful job. They were some of nicest contractors that I have ever met. I will call them back and recommend them to my closest friends.

George is very busy and does all his work himself, so it took longer than I thought to get the estimate, but when he did the work, he did it beautifully and with a high degree of professionalism. It's obvious that he takes great pride in his work and wants to make sure that his clients are pleased. We would definitely recommend him to others and use him again if need be.

Provider showed up as promised, stayed with in proposed cost and finished work in the estimated amount of time. Provide was answered every call made.

Everything went great. George was honest, friendly, gave us multiple options, and a fair price on the work that was done. Reason for a B on punctuality: On the day that work was to be done, they were 2 hours late. When they didn't arrive on time, I called George and due to the rain they had started late that day and the schedule got pushed behind. I totally understand the weather issues but a heads up earlier in the day would have been nice. Reason for B on responsiveness: It was hard to get in touch through e-mail and there was a lot of delay in the back and forth around the work details over e-mail. I would just suggest calling if you have any questions or need to get in touch with George because he ALWAYS answered his phone when I called.

I had an appointment for someone from Krilis to give me an estimate on replacing the gutters on my house. They were to be here between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 22. No one came; no one called. I waited until 2:30 before I had to leave the house, but I left my husband at home to receive them. No one ever came or called. How can people stay in business with this kind of practice? It was inconvenient for me to stay home most of the day on a busy Saturday, and then not to have the appointment honored was very frustrating. Don't do business with this company; they are unreliable.

I've used George to clean my gutters for several years. He is prompt and efficient and tidy. Other gutter cleaners have left goopy messes around the property. Not George. As other reviewers have noted, he is a gentleman of old school standards. He is quite simply a very nice man. But equally, if not more importantly, he does a very good job.

This exterior painting project took a few days. George Krilis Co first powerwashed the entire masonry house to remove any loose paint and debris. George provided enough time for the house to dry (24-48hrs). Once his team arrived back, they sanded and primed all areas of brick which needed it. They removed the shutters, covered windows, lanterns, front and back doors, patio flooring with protective covering. George's crew was efficient and worked carefully during the entire process. I would hire George Krilis's Co for the same work in the future.

I was referred to Mr. Krilis from another company on Angies list the gentleman on the phone told me that several of his customers had used Mr. Krilis in the past for shutters or gutters and were very satisfied with his work. I called Mr. Krilis and left him a message with my contact information. He emailed me and we talked about what i wanted done so he set up a day to come and look at my house to give an estimate. I was home when he came by so we talked about what i wanted done and he was very honest about what i was asking him to do. He told me he could do what i wanted but he would just be taking my money because it was barely even a band aid fix. He then explained to me why he thought this and how my shutters were installed and why they were the wrong size and improperly installed. He then explained an alternative and told me about how the shutters should be installed and the proper length of our shutters. He sent us an estimate and we talked about paint color he was able to use the paint we already had that was the HOA approved color. He and his crew showed up when they said they would be there and went to work right away. They went to work right away took down the old shutters and put up the new ones put another coat of paint on them and took all the trash away in a very timely manner.

Agree with the reviews on here - love the old school style of professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. I wish there were more providers like George out there, it's a dying art! I too used to use Metro Gutter but switched due to lack of responsiveness. So glad to make the switch to George - no where else I'm going now for my gutter cleaning!

I aksed George to perform Gutter cleaning (inside and outside). He was the only contractor of many who was willing to clean the black stains that develop on the exterior. He and his crew did an outstanding job of cleaning the exterior of the gutters. He also significnatly reduced the price on the interior gutter cleaning as there was very little debris in them......unheard of! Based on his perfomance on the first job, I hired him to paint the railings on a newly refurbished deck. As with the gutters, his estimate was shockingly reasonable, and the work superior. He also moved the painting job ahead 3 weeks due to a cancellation. Professional, friendly, honest......will definately work with George again.

George Krilis Co did the work and did a nice job. There were no problems and everything went smoothly.

It went great. George is a consummate professional and an old-school small business owner - he takes tremendous pride in his work and his business process. He does as he says he will and his crew did an excellent job. He is not competing on the basis of price, but his estimates came within 10-15% of the lowest bid. I had already nearly committed to another provider, AeroTech Gutters, when I realized the estimator had not provided a complete bid on the whole job, omitting nearly half the job in his haste. By contrast, George came by within 4 hours of me calling, provided an estimate that arrived in my email overnight, and all the expectations he set in advance were met. He explained the difference between a good job and a bad job on a gutter job and why a specialist is better than a handyman or even a roofing generalist for this job. He mentioned that he doesn't believe in "up-selling" - that he does gutters and exterior painting only, doesn't make referral money and tells you the truth about other things he sees during the job (roof condition, etc.) based on his experience. The color match on the replacement gutters actually exceeded my expectations, they were careful about integrating with the french drain system, and his crew completed the job in half a day - without messing up my landscaping or leaving a mess. George noted that he never rushes his crew and he doesn't accept a job where the owner wants him to take shortcuts. I waited to post this review until yesterday's rainfall; it's a strange thing to take pride in the way water runs off your building, but George managed to make me feel good about spending $1200 on something no one else is ever going to care about! You can count on George for honesty and follow-through, and it's great to support a local business that truly deserves it - couldn't recommend him more.

George provided an estimate, which I thought was very reasonable, the same day I called him. The final price was actually less than his estimate.

George promptly replied to our telephone call and came out with an estimate. Work started and was completed two days later (with no hard sell for new gutters). There was no payment up front, and a bill was presented only after we had inspected the work and made sure it was to our satisfaction. I agree with the other reviewers that George is of the old school of professionalism and trust. The work was done in a timely manner at a fair price and with great results - including clean-up. We wouldn't hesitate to use Mr. Krilis again, especially if we needed new gutters, and would highly recommend him and his crew.

The work was done over a period of almost 7 months. (I had to enter a date, above, but this has no meaning.) George and his crew are so good, I just kept calling him back until everything I wanted was done. It is hard to describe George and his crew in just a few words. They are true professionals in the old tradition. George makes his living through superior workmanship, the use of premium materials, and an honest and morally upright approach. You may pay a little more, but you will be getting more, including peace of mind. There are no corners cut and nothing to worry about when the day is done. I'd like to write more, but I think I've said it all.

George is the ultimate professional. He came out, gave us a quote. When we decided to go with him, he set a date a stuck with it. He came out on time with his crew and they did the work in less than half the day. Painless and the price was right; it was exactly what he quoted.

George came out promptly to do the estimate for me on a Saturday, and although I clearly was better off to just replace my very old and poorly installed gutters/downspouts, he explained the issues and options thoroughly without being pushy at all. He took the measurements and emailed me a quote that afternoon for the work. I emailed him back accepting the quote on Monday and he called Thursday night of that week to let me know that a slot in his schedule had opened up and he could do the work Friday, unless I called to say otherwise. I came home Friday evening from work and had good quality new gutters and downspouts installed correctly. He left a note and invoice to indicate that 3 of the fascia boards had rot and were replaced - and even better, left me the rotted boards so that I could clearly see why they had been replaced. The new boards/paint matched my existing trim neatly. Overall, George is great and made the process very convenient and simple with a good price for good quality work. I would gladly use him again to clean these new gutters and would recommend him to anyone.

This company provided just about perfect service from start to finish, and could and should be an example to others. Mr. Krilis returned my call for an estimate within hours of my initial call and scheduled the estimate for a couple days later. We walked the property together and discussed the work to be done, then he took measurements before leaving. About 24 hours later I received a pricing proposal for the work which outlined everything we had discussed. I accepted his proposal and we scheduled the work for several weeks later, weather permitting. I received a phone message the day before work began and they arrived at 8:05 the morning they were scheduled. They finished the work in one day and cleaned up completely. While working, I noticed them pouring buckets of water onto the roof to test the flow, and I was asked before writing my check if I was satisfied with their work. It was a refreshing experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is the only company you need to call for any/all gutter work. Punctual appointment for an estimate where he showed me many options available for gutter guards but recommended we go with a double mesh. Estimate was very competitive and George is on the job from start to finish. Clean up of site as the team worked so you can't even tell they were here today aside from inspecting the gutters and seeing the work completed. Job completed in one day, no money required up front, payment only accepted when the work was complete and I was happy with the job. 3 year guarantee on the work as well! This is unheard of and knowing George will be there if I have any issues in the future sealed the deal.

During a rainstorm in late Oct I noticed that I had water overflowing from a gutter on the back of my house. I looked up companies that clean gutters in Angie's List and called the top rated company with the largest number of reviews. George answered the phone and agreed to perform the work, but indicated that they had a two week backlog and could perform the work only when weather permitted, due to safety concerns. He said that they would call a couple of days prior to coming. I told him I was comfortable with that and asked that he put my name on the list. He agreed to do so. A little over four weeks later I realized that he had not appeared. I called him and he remembered my earlier call and sounded appologetic for the delay. He said he could come the next day. I agreed. When he showed up he was again appologetic for the delay, but he and his worker started to work immediately. George set up and moved the ladder as they worked their way around the house. All debris removed from the gutters was bagged and when they finished the trash was placed in my trash bin. George also explained the nature of the trash they found. He said that the blockage was the result of pieces of my cedar shake roof that had come loose and ended up in the gutter and floated to the downspout and covered it. He said that I also had a lot of granular debris from the deteriorating shakes in the gutters. He said that he recommended that I replace my roof as soon as possible because the felt under the shakes was the main thing keeping the water out. He could not have been more professional or knowledgable. I expect to be a lifetime customer.

When George installed my gutters back in 2009 he did a great job on time and good pricing. I continued to use his services every year to clean the gutters. I used to use MetroGutters before but decided to shift to George b/c Metro Gutters is not only more expensive but they are also not responsive. George is great!!

George arrived on time on Saturday, took measurements, discussed options, and provided a written estimate. The installation was done on time and according to the estimate. The entire experience was professional and hassle free. As are our gutters, now! If I ever need repairs or gutter work in the future, I will call George Krilis again.

I called George to clean my gutters when they continued to overflow after I had someone that left a flyer on my door inspect and clean them. Mr Krillis did a thorough cleaning and inspection of my gutter system. There were enough problems with my 30 year old gutters to warrant replacing them. George was there exactly when he said he would be there and finished that same day. No fuss and no mess. He was easily accessible for any questions I had. Since the new gutter install he has cleaned my gutters again. Very professional and a genuinely nice person. If George Krillis can do it he's got my business!
