Excellent. They were one of four estimates I received the week prior. After selecting them we set the date. They did it all in one day. They forgot to paint one thing and had to adjust one of the doors so it slides properly, which they did the next day. They arrived on time, and left the condo in the same condition it was when they arrived. It looks like a new unit.

They arrive when promised, are neat and quiet, and do a good job for a reasonable price. On both jobs, there was the need to come back and touch up in some places, and this was done quickly as promised with no hesitation. Ricardo was the lead on both jobs, and is very helpful, pleasant and answered any questions I had with no problems. The company owner, and Sam - the "sales guy" - came out to make sure both of the jobs they did for us started out properly. On the last job, the owner made sure that paper and plastic were put down from our front door to the upstairs where the work was being done to insure no dirt or damage was done to our floors with the workers entering and exiting the house. We are very satisfied with Friendly's work and will use them again.

We contacted Friendly Painting after reading the reviews/ratings on Angies List. We needed two large rooms, foyer, stairwell and hallways painted as well as every bed, bath and closet door. Freindly Painting was able to provide a home visit and estimate with 1 day notice - very important as we needed the painting done quickly. The estimator was very friendly yet professional and took the time to look at the job and ask questions about exactly what we needed (including repairing drywall etc). A follow up call was received to see if we were happy with the estimate etc - again, very nice and courteous. We chose them based on both price (comparable to other bids) and gut feeling about the service they would provide. A crew of painters arrived on time on the day we selected and went right to work moving furniture, covering floors, sanding and other prep. By the end of they day, the painting and repairs were complete and the rooms, doors and trim look gorgeous! The crew cleaned at the end of the job - no trash or paint drop anywhere. We couldn't be happier with their service and will be calling them for future projects as well as referring them to any friends/family that need painting services. VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!

Overall I was very pleased with each of the tasks. The job was planned to be completed in one day but rain conditions required a separate visit for exterior work. Scheduling work with the company was very easy. The company proved to be very flexible and worked around my availability when planning the job. On both days, a team of workers was led by foreman/worker Ricardo. Ricardo was extremely pleasant, professional and easy to work with. Ricardo provided excellent guidance and supervision of his teams. All workers were pleasant and professional. Though I was very happy with all of the work, I was probably the most impressed with the quality of the drywall repairs. Absolutely perfect. I was unable to distinguish where the drywall repairs had been made. I received cost estimates from a total of six companies and Friendly Construction provided the best value. I would definitely consider using this company again for any future work.

This was the best experience I have ever had with a painting contractor!! They were prompt, professional, thorough and completed the job in two days. I love the work they did and I could not be more pleased. The paint looks great, there are no flaws, no messes, no missed spots. The "leader" of the work crew was friendly, informative and willing to go the extra mile to make things perfect. Tom Seo, the original estimator, was prompt, thorough and well informed. His company delivered on all of their promises. I have recommended this company to all of my co-workers.

Work was done as agreed to, i tome and on budget, with results as expected. Excellent paint quality on walls and woodwork. Required intensive and extensive supervision by the owners to reach the desired quality.

They arrived promptly at 8am; I left for the day (team of 8) and returned by 430 and the house was nearly finished. They moved all the furniture, no damage. Some minor paint specks on floor; came up easily. A little dusty, but probably to be expected considering they did all patchwork, necessary fillers/caulk and trim/doors as well as rooms. Looked great!

I thought it would take a second visit, but they got it done right the first time. They arrived before 9:00 am as promised and were done before 1:00 pm. We were very pleased. We had a number of paint samples on the wall we were worried would be visible under the lite color paint we choose, but the color is even and it looks great.

They were good, responsible, fast and they did everything they said they were going to do. I will use them again in the future.

Owner and salesperson are friendly, professional, responsive, and solicitous. They scheduled the job during a very tight window and over the July 4th weekend. I wanted everything painted before we moved into the new house after settlement. I had to reschedule the estimate appointment because of family illness and handle everything via email. It was not a problem. They worked with me. They wrote up everything, room by room and we reviewed it together to ensure that we all agreed on exactly what was to be done: color, trim, finish, ceilings, rooms, etc. They were meticulous about doing exactly what I wanted. When they came to begin the work, I found that some rooms I had planned to touch up had to be painted entirely because the touch up paint had been removed. They smoothly re-estimated the job, told me they would take samples of some rooms and get more paint, and they followed through. After the job, the owner and salesman came back and went over the entire job with me. They cleaned up the few, minor paint drips themselves on the spot. Although they weren't the cheapest estimate, I'm glad I hired them. The quality and professionalism were worth it.

I had my hardwood floors refinished mid-April. Since the rooms were cleared out of furniture and it had been 12 years since we painted (and since my husband almost fell off the ladder a couple times while trying to paint the two story entry foyer), we decided to have professionals do the painting. We were going from all "cream" colored walls and trim to light green colored walls with white trim. We wanted the job done professionally instead of attempting it ourselves (plus we hate painting ceilings). I had three companies come out in one day for bids. I was VERY anxious to get the painting started as soon as possible since the rooms were empty. When I expressed my urgency to get started to the nice gentlemen who came to give me a bid, he stated that they could accomodate me and begin painting on Monday (it was Friday when I got the bids). The bid I received was in the middle range of the three bids I received (the "cheapest" bid could not begin work for at least three weeks). I was very happy that Friendly could accomodate me by beginning the work in just a few days. The crew was great.! They arrived by 8AM Monday morning and within the hour, my house was transformed with coverings over all the flooring and plastic on the doorways into my kitchen. I was worried that so many workers could possibly be careless with my newly refinished hardwood floors, but they were very careful and I did not find a single scratch when the work was completed. I was a little worried that in trying to complete this entire job in one day that they may rush and get a little sloppy, but this was not the case. The painting was done very well, and it was so unbelievable to have the job completed in one day. The job was completed and everything cleaned up thoroughly by 7:30pm. The guys worked very hard, non-stop and were very polite and courteous. I will definately use Friendly again for future jobs.

Downsizing and getting my 29 year old house ready for sale and needed to fix some walls and freshen up paint and deck before the replacement carpet was installed. I assumed it would take a few days so I had part of the house ready for them to paint with the idea I would work ahead of them. However they arrived with a large team and in no time they had carefully moved and covered everything that needed to be protected and got to work, like a well oiled machine. They claimed it would be done except for the deck sealing by that evening. Amazingly it was completed by when promised and done beautifully. No corners cut and everything cleaned up and put back. My only job was to put back the pictures and knick-knacks. The owner himself came in the AM to get things started and the PM to do a final walk through. His supervisor was pleasant, professional and easy to talk to. I soon realized I was in the way and they had everything under control so went out for part of the day. I had no qualms about them being in my home without me there. The following week after the deck had dried they returned to seal the deck and touched up the wood siding. I am delighted with the work and plan to use them again in my new home.

We had an initial estimate in 2008 for this work as they were recommended by an interior designer we were working with. The staff, sometimes difficult to understand, were very professional and responsive to questions we had. We have a 2 year old and 2 dogs so I thought this would be a nightmare of a day with the painting, but the staff was very understanding. Overall I would hire them but I have only three gripes: 1) We noticed, several days later, there was paint on one side of our ceiling fan in the 2 story family room. Hardly noticeable, but now that my husband pointed it out, I see it. 2) The interior designer suggested Benjamin Moore paint and that brand was on the color report we forwarded to Friendly several times but when the on site manager showed up he wanted to use Duron. The color came out beautiful, but it was a last minute thing I hadn't counted on. 3) Only a few spots the color seems thin, a bit of white showing through. So few that I didn't call them but believe they'd come back to fix it if I called. I would hire them again! The other estimates we had were ~3k and up for the same work.

They came, gave me a detailed quote, arrived on time, and thier team was very professional and fast. I was here the whole day the first day, but the second day I was very comfortable to leave them to work while I ran errands. They did beautiful work and I highly recommend them. I would say get a bunch of quotes, but will promise you will end up using them, the other quotes just makes you feel smart for getting such a great value.

The estimate was scheduled at my convenience, later in the evening (around 6:30PM). I was given a fantastic price based on other estimates and the crew was able to start 2 days later. Timing was a big issue for us, it needed to be done quickly. The team descended upon the house on a Monday morning, promptly at 8am and the work was COMPLETED top to bottom by 6pm. I was concerned that the job would be incomplete being done so quickly, but it looked great! I have two spots that needed touched up and they have made arrangements to do so. I am very happy and have contracted them to do new siding on the house with their contracting service.

Friendly was overall a mixed put positive experience. They did the job quickly, with minimal oversight (I had to travel) and pretty well considering how I hear contractors normally are. The work was performed to a B or B- level of quality - it wasn't flawless but it wasn't "bad" per-se. The paint jobs were a bit sloppy everywhere, there was some uneven drywall work that I had to get them to fix and a few other problems. But, with a bid that was at least 20-30% less than the three others I got I can't really complain. The crew and foremen are very nice and professional. The manager is occasionally difficult to track down on the phone and there are language barriers (they are Korean) when convenient for them. Again, very nice and helpful but they can be difficult sometimes so you have to dog them a bit. One thing to note is that if they can't do the job to your liking you are in for a battle. I paid for them to clear some exterior drains of root clogs which they never actually were able to clear yet they still happily took my money. Also, there were a few other sloppy parts of the overall work that I still cringe when looking at but were never fixed after punch out. Overall, because of the cost savings and the fact that this house is not a billion dollar dream home I remain content with the work that Friendly did and would consider recommending them to others with the caveats/warnings described above. They did a good job for a fair price and on schedule.

I called for an estimate and they came the same day. I was told about the history of the company, it's employees, and the quality of their work. A few days later they called me for follow-up and I decided to go with them. They arrived promptly on the date scheduled (just a few days later) and got to work right away. The space is fairly large and was furnished. Their team moved and covered furniture and proceeded to prep the surfaces. They thoroughly fixed imperfections in the walls and ceilings. We had a palette of 5 colors total. The foreman walked through with me to make sure they had the right colors on the right walls and then they went to work. At the end of the day they finished (on time). They had done multiple coats of paint as well as ceilings. Everything looked great! I highly recommend them. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves and even called for follow-up. I plan to hire them again for additional rooms.

They came to my house and provided a written estimate the day after I called them. Their estimate was the lowest of three I obtained. They were ready to start work within three days. They arrived at 8:30am as promised with a five person crew. They moved furniture and fully prepared all the areas for painting. The painting, including all clean up was done by 2:30pm. I was very impressed with the quality of their work and the timeframe in which they completed their work. There was no additional clean up I needed to do.

The quality of the job was good. They were very neat and cleaned everything up. They were timely in arriving and finishing the job.

We have been extremely happy with all aspects of this project so far. We solicited many bids and Friendly submitted a very competitive bid, near the lowest. They have been very trustworthy and professional. The quality of their work has been excellent. Our main contact with Friendly has been Mr. Ki Char. He has been very easy to work with. We have been very particular about many aspects of the project and Mr. Char has been very patient and helpful and always concerned that we are satisfied. All the sub-contractors (roofing, electrical, plumbing, framing) have also been very courteous and professional. We have been happy with all the work so far. They have done what they said they would do. We were worried about that since this was our first experience with a contractor doing a large project. There have been no cost increases from their original bid (that may be due to our very detailed specifications too). Mr. Char (along with Mr. Tom Seo) have been our main contacts, and we have had excellent communication with them. Most of the sub-contractors have been Korean or Hispanic. There has been some minor language issues with them but we have been able to communicate satisfactorily.
