Flavio was great. He came out and provided an estimate and promptly scheduled the work once we accepted. He arrived on time and he and his crew took care of everything he said they would do. We were very pleased with his work, and also very pleased with the price (which was significantly lower than other estimates we received). Information about his license and insurance was not available on Angie's List but, when I asked, he told me was licensed and insured and he sent me proof of insurance. We will definitely hire Flavio again.

Overall expereince was great. When the work was performed Flavio and his crew arrived on time, were polite and courteous, and picked up at the end of the workday (they were here for several days). The workmanship on the fence is first rate, the new lawn looks great, and the walkway is fantastic. I would highly recommend Flavio Domeneck Landscaping Inc. In fact, I have. Flavio now helps my parents with their landscaping and tree services as well.

Flavio gave me an assessment of the work needed to be performed and gave me a fixed price to complete the job. We scheduled a day and his crew came in the early morning and had the job finished by afternoon. They did a great job.

He was way under the lowest bid. The other bids were $5500 to $11,000. It was crazy expensive. We took them out because they swayed a lot in the windstorms this last winter and a chunk of one of the trees took out an awning. The children’s bedrooms are on the top floor and we got tired of worrying that one of the trees would fall on the house. They told us which trees would be good for firewood and the ones that would just smoke. They took away the wood that would be messy and cut the wood that would be good into 18-inch chunks and brought it to the back of the house and stacked it for us. Then they mulched the clippings and shavings and mulched with that. They did anything we asked. They removed the stones in the front yard and stacked them behind the house for us. I saw them blowing weeds at the neighbors and I asked them if they did more and he said yes. He did the leaf blowing for free. It looks great and now we need to get the rest of the lawn done. We will be using them this spring, for the spring landscaping. I am very glad that I chose them; they are extremely flexible. We spent every penny we had on the trees. They did the work and delayed payment until the spring. I want people to know how flexible and fantastic they are. They are totally professional. They were extremely helpful to do all of the little things that another company would say no that is not in the contract. They answer the phone every time I call.

He is excellent. His workers are great. They cleanup everything when the job is complete. I would highly recommend.

Flavio Domeneck Landscaping is a family-owned business located in Annandale, VA. I was given a referral by a friend who highly recommended him as reasonable and good at what he does. I had a 30 foot willow tree in my back yard which I love. In fact, I purchased my town home because of the tree. Flavio Sr. came as he promised, on time and on the date he said he would. He examined the tree carefully. He bluntly told me that tree was dying and needed more than a trim. He told me it had to come down. He showed me all the rotten parts of the trunk. He then gave me a reasonable estimate for the tree removal. Having received two other companies' estimates (one on Angie's List and the other not) which were much higher and because I had a verbal referral from a friend, I contracted with Flavio. He called Ms. Utility for me to make sure all the utilities were marked properly. I called him and asked him to pick up 15 bags of mulch and 6 bags of river rock t Home Depot. He came on time with his crew. They took a 30 foot tree down safely and loaded all of the tree into a truck. They ground down thick tree roots almost to ground level. He brought me the receipt for the mulch and rocks and laid them where I asked. He cleaned up. Then because I asked, Flavio Jr. came to give me an estimate for a new fence, patio and raised flower beds. I have not contracted yet for these things because I wanted to see a written estimate. I highly recommend Flavio Domeneck Landscaping Company and would use (and probably will use for the fence and patio) them again. I will be referring them to my neighbors and grading them on Yelp.
