Ken, Ana, and their team were wonderful to work with. I have pretty high standards and expect responsiveness - so much so that one contractor won't even quote for us anymore. Ken and Ana exceeded our expectations. Ken always responded to calls within an hour. They kept their workspace as clean as possible. And, the final product is gorgeous. Ken and Ana were very honest and I never felt they were upselling (in fact, Ken convinced me to save money by refinishing my floors instead of switching materials -- and he was right, they are beautiful). Ana helped some of my unique requests (built-in dog station in kitchen and building an "office" within a wall cut out with farm doors) become reality and the results were fantastic. I recommend them with zero hesitation and I think my husband misses his "morning meeting" with Ken.

After interviewing numerous contractors, we decided to go with Elite Contractors for our DC bedroom floor addition and bathroom. I was very please with the work ethic of the company and the employees. The organization not only made our dreams of having a bedroom addition come true but they completed all of the work in less than 7 weeks! Even during COVID-19, the workers were very safe. They came in with PPE, were clean and neat and social distanced as much as they could from my family. This was a great experience overall and I will consider Elite for future jobs

Great. This was our best experience with a contractor in five years and we've had many, as we've rebuilt a 40-year old house room by room. When it came time to tackle the kitchen and change up the first floor around it, by far the largest and most expensive job, we engaged with Elite Contractors Services Inc on the advice of our architect. We were immediately impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of Ken Rahim and the quality and work ethic of his team. Ken dealt with some messy design issues, explained the "whys" and "hows" expertly, and delivered the project on time and on budget. We used multiple contractors for elements of the project and wish, in retrospect, that Ken had been the general contractor to keep those guys in line. Would absolutely hire again.

We hired Elite to renovate our mid century home. We presented Ken with a BIG challenge: to renovate almost every part of our home under a VERY tight schedule and to work with us as we made many last minute changes to our evolving design. We are very pleased with the outcome! He finished on time and the house looks amazing. He really does care about the quality of the work and pays close attention to the details. He is generous, patient, and wants your project to be perfect. Ana spent hours on her computer making sure that our kitchen cabinets fit our design perfectly, down to the centimeter. Contracts and estimates were straightforward. No unexpected overages. Thank you Ken and team! We'll definitely use Elite for future projects.

Elite Contractors Services did a fantastic job. I have had a lot of remodeling done in my home and they are by far the best company I have ever worked with. Workers show up on time, clean up daily, and the work is world class. The owner of the company came on site everyday and was always available for questions or concerns (although there were not many). I have had Elite Contractors Services complete my last two jobs and wish I would have known about them earlier as I would have had them do my entire house. I highly encourage anyone to use them for their remodeling/building needs.

Elite Contractors Services did a fantastic job on my renovation. The craftsmanship was terrific. no corners cut. They corrected shocking work that had been done before. I finally live in a house that is not only beautiful but safe and up to code. I will definitely use them when I renovate my second floor and any other projects I might have. Ken and the team did an outstanding job and exceeded our expectations. The job was completed ahead of schedule and turned into an incredible fitness center and full pitching tunnel for fastpitch softball. Would highly recommend the company as the results were outstanding! Our daughter the pitcher loves the new space and spends her free time there training.

Excellent, could not have gone better. The owner and his wife run the business and they are both hands-on people and love their work. Very good communication. They provide excellent workmanship and materials and they pay attention to detail. Great warranty service as well. They also provide excellent help with making choices on cabinets, lighting, counter-tops, tile, siding, etc. Spotless cleanup after the work. We remodeled one split level built in 1958 and did a 1400sqft addition. It was a massive project and we had a construction loan. It was delivered on-time and a little over-budget, mostly due to our own oversight and enhancements. For larger projects I recommend a contingency fund which saved us. For another project it was a 3 level townhouse that was completely remodeled, and new siding, new portico, new windows, doors, kitchen bathrooms, floors, everything. It was done on-time and on-budget. I recommend a detailed review of your contract items so that you include everything you expect. You will also need to spend some time on-site to make choices about electrical and plumbing locations, how doors will open, how cabinets will fit, as well as time in their office making choices for materials. You will not regret having Elite do your project.

Excellent. We have done two complete remodeling jobs and one new addition with this builder. Good rapport with builder, and very responsive. High quality workmanship. Went beyond the scope of work to do lots of details, and found problems and had reasonable charges for their repairs. Also, the builder will let you pick your own lights, plumbing fixtures, and other treatments. Contract is fair and reasonable, but do go through the list and check all the details to make sure it includes everything you are expecting. His specialty is whole-home remodeling, and you will be happy with the results. Plan to spend some time visiting the house to answer questions about the location of light switches, lights, outlets, doors, cabinets, etc. You will not be disappointed.

We were really happy working with Ken and Ana on our substantial renovation project-- a kitchen, powder room and a master bath. Ken said his motto is "On time and on budget" and he means it. We liked working with them and love the final product. We knew that we had to be careful in selecting a design and build company because we were going to have a structural wall knocked down in order to expand the space in the kitchen. While speaking with other companies, we did not feel confident. Some were very high cost and it was clear that their services involved a lot, a lot, of client pampering and extreme hand-holding. We would rather sacrifice some of that over-the-top solicitousness in order to get the final product we want at the price we could afford. Ken's team was great, very polite and everyone was hard working. The attention to detail was very high. I was grateful that the few times we pointed out something we did not like, those items were corrected within 24 hours. There was never any questioning of the points I raised. I would absolutely recommend Elite. We still keep their business card on our fridge so people who ask about the work can take a photo.

Review for a complete basement renovation, including adding a laundry room and full bath. We previously used Ken and the team at Elite Contractors to build a closet and partition a bedroom after reviewing their stellar reviews on Angie’s List. We were so impressed with their work and value on that project that when it came time for complete reno of our basement, they were already at the top of our list. From start to finish, Ken and his team helped us plan and realize our vision for a new basement to accommodate our growing family. PROS: Ken was extremely responsive and accessible throughout the entire project (rather than being handed off to another member of the company), their pricing was fair, but more importantly, very transparent (read: no hidden fees), the Elite staff was always courteous and professional at our home, and they were able to give us good recommendations when we didn’t know exactly what we wanted, but also worked to accommodate our customizations when we did. CONS: They were not able to start as soon as we’d hoped given their other work. However, above all else, they came in ON BUDGET and ON TIME! Highly recommend!!

We hired Elite Contractor Services to design, build and integrate a two story addition. Our main goal was to add a master bedroom with a brand new bathroom and walk-in closet and have a more open concept throughout the living area. The Elite team did a full renovation of our kitchen, and it's absolutely beautiful. Ken had communicated with us during the entire project about the timeline for completion, met with us if there was any issues (which were minimum). Ana has great expertise on designing the bathroom and kitchen. She was honest, gave great advice and was open minded during the entire process. Both Ken and Ana went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. We are very pleased with the finished product and couldn't have asked for a better contractor with which to work. We will definitely be using Elite Contractor Services in the future for any additional home renovations.

Very professional and responsive. They kept me informed of any issues and communicated with me daily. My master bedroom and bath are gorgeous. This is the second time I had Elite perform renovations and have been extremely satisfied with the process and results.

Absolutely ELITE! After 2 full bathroom remodels and a new office for my wife and since we have had such great previous experiences with Ken and his team. When it came to installing new handrails, pin top balusters, shoe rail and newel posts we once again elicited the professionals. Since staircases were so new to us we did our due diligence and contacted a couple "stair experts" for ideas and estimates. Importantly I should mention how difficult it was even finding someone willing to install a "s-curve" and gooseneck so that the handrail is continuous around corners. We knew what we wanted and I quickly learned not only was Elite one of the few willing to install a "s-curve" and gooseneck or was even capable of such but the cost was also less than estimates I received which would not include the continuous rail. Obviously there is a difference between doing something and doing something well and in this case we could not be more ecstatic with the final results! I'm not sure where Ken found his carpenter but the guy is a rock star! The attention to detail is clearly evident not only with respect to the handrails, balusters and newel posts but also the shoe and base moldings. After watching the precision he works with and how perfect the final product is, I'm more inclined to call him an artist. This all before we had 9 new doors with new hinges hung. I knew hanging new doors also requires a level expertise... if you want them to close correctly. Elite also provides this service and now we finally have doors in our upstairs bedrooms! In sum, the quality of work is unparalleled, as is the cost. Scale of 1-10, Elite receives 10's across the board! Thank you Ken and your team!

Project 2: Our first experience was so ideal, we called upon ELITE Contractors Services for a second bathroom remodel. They say one of the best compliments is repeat business! ELITE earned our trust! Once again Ken and his team exceeded expectations. Joel and Antonio completed our bathroom from demolition to finished product, which included getting the new tub and vanity up a set of narrow stairs. They worked great as a team and showed up every day with the same positive demeanor which can’t be overlooked since you are opening your home to strangers. Once again the attention to detail was of particular note especially since we used smaller tile for the shower walls requiring a great deal of time and patience and since we layed the floor tile as diamonds requiring intricate cuts without wasting tile. Yes that is what you paid for, to do the job, but I have now seen too many friends not get what they paid for. Once again the project was started on schedule and finished ahead of schedule as Joel and Antonio worked with extreme diligence. I could tell this wasn’t just a job to them but that they took pride in how their work looked beyond the high standards Ken expects and demands of his team and how happy my wife and I were. Once again, ELITE contractors delivered on their promise of high-quality services. They come highly recommended and we are on to the next project for Ken and his team.

Highly recommended. This was our first experience with re-modeling and Ken and his team are ELITE! I usually don’t feel compelled to write reviews because a job well done is what you pay for but I have come to learn that is not always the case. We had a few other contractors come through but Ken immediately demonstrated professionalism, knowledge and patience with first timers like us. Our house had not had any updating done since it was built and being the house I grew up in provided its own angst and requirement for high standards. Our first project was the master bathroom. We had an idea of what we wanted and when Ken initially came to the house to look at the project he offered some different ideas to consider. I had not considered some little things, which are actually big things such as different marble types or countries of origin of the materials and how it would impact the final product. The education on such from Ken was invaluable. I should also mention my father who is very particular and hard to please “quizzed” Ken. We all came away with such positive feelings of Kens character and knowledge. Ultimately we went from a single sink bathroom to a double sink bathroom which required moving a wall. The experience could not have been better. We had friends who had smaller projects that took months longer but Ken and his team work with amazing efficiency while still paying attention to the little details which made the completed project perfect. Ken’s team was extremely professional and courteous. It was the attention to detail and demeanor of his team which we really appreciated. But most of all they take pride in their work. The bathroom turned out exactly how we envisioned. I should mention it took some time for me to write a review, but we were so pleased that I was compelled to share my experience with others even though time has passed. We couldn’t have been more satisfied and were actually blown away with how great the experience was and how amazing our new master bathroom turned out. I look forward to providing an update of the bathroom workings as time passes.

I wish every contractor was like Elite. Helped with the design and did all the leg work prior to stating the projects for the renovation of a Master and kids bathroom, and added a new guest bath. We had the same crew (every day - not a day missed) and they worked straight through. Ken and Anna are a wonderful team to work with. During the final punch list review they were responsive on any final fixes. We have dealt with many contractors in the past - they are above the bar. Be patient as they might have a backlog - when they do your project you are the focus.

Over a four year span Ken and Ana helped us design and remodel our Master and kids bathroom, build a new guest suite bath, rebuilt our office and reestablished the original architecture at the front of the house, repainted the whole home, and rebuilt our basement. They were amazing and we wish we could pack them up to move to Vermont with us to build our new home. Great team from Ana helping us design to Ken and his team of builders - many of the same people we saw over the four years. After using other contractors - we finally landed on the perfect one. AND they stand behind their work years after they are done.

We recommend Elite 100%, and then some! Our experience working with Elite Contractor Services was fantastic. Ken and his team were professional, responsive, efficient, and conducted great work throughout the duration of our home gut-renovation. The crew showed up at 7am each day, and tidied up the work site before leaving in the evening - a full six days a week. The crew were extremely clean and polite! Ken, who owns the company, checked in with us daily via email, phone, or text - and met with us in person once a week to go over progress and address any of our questions at the site. He was personally involved throughout the project and was a pleasure to work with -- an all-around pleasant, friendly, and wonderful person. Not only did Ken provide creative ideas and solutions to meet our needs, but he repeatedly and proactively sought out more economical options for some of the required sub contract work - including our roof shingle replacement, and custom doors, for which he got us multiple quotes to review (and we didn't even have to ask!). He never tried to sell us anything we didn't need, and never charged us more than was required. On the few occasions when there was an issue or change required, all we needed to do was email or call Ken, and it would be addressed the next day. The crew did high quality work from top to bottom - with especially beautiful woodworking skills on our fireplace mantle and staircase. In some areas, Ken and the crew even went above and beyond what we asked for to create beautiful, custom details - and we were incredibly happy with the result. Ken's wife, Ana, who manages the design side of the company, was also a pleasure to work with. She met with us several times to guide us through our kitchen remodel and created highly realistic 3D renderings to help us visualize our new kitchen and make decisions. She too was very responsive with helping us over email and text any time we had a question about an item for purchase or design element. The entire gut renovation of our 4-story town home - including replacing all of the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, floors, kitchen, and 4 bathrooms - took just 3 months TOTAL! We couldn't believe how efficiently the crew worked, while also turning out such good work. We have several friends who have remodeled their homes in recent years and NONE have ever reported a such a positive experience with their GC. Our neighbors, on the other hand, who recommended Elite, had only RAVE reviews. We are so happy with our decision go with Elite and encourage anyone considering hiring them to do so - it was a great experience, and we are extremely happy with our new and improved home.

We started our basement remodel wary of contractors, having been burnt a few times in the past. Ken and the Elite Contracting Services team changed our thinking after their first day on the job. The team arrived on time, was respectful, cleaned up after itself, and accomplished an extraordinary amount of work in one day. From that point on, the team arrived and left at about the same time every day, cleaned up the day’s mess, worked hard, and was kind. If my kids stuck their heads downstairs, they were often met with smiles. In addition to how they operated on a day-to-day basis, their work proved to be that of a true pro’s. They did what they said they would do, did a beautiful job, paid attention to details, and—and this is a BIG AND here—they finished more than a week ahead of schedule. In the end, they turned a dated, grungy, and poorly designed recreational space into a place of enjoyment. They opened up the space by removing unnecessary columns and removing drywall around the staircase; they utilized available space by turning a closet into a bar; they pulled out all of the carpet and replaced it with luxury vinyl planks; they installed crown molding; they wrapped the remaining columns and the fireplace in stone; they painted; and in addition to doing all of this throughout the basement, they also turned a large unfinished room into two rooms (a bedroom and a bonus room). The result was a beautiful, functional basement with a recreation room, a new bedroom and a bonus room.

I have never written a review before but feel compelled to do so on behalf of Elite Contractor Services. Last year, we decided to renovate our home from top to bottom. We took off the back of our house, lowered the concrete slab and rebuilt all three stories of our house. Elite Contractors made it all possible and our new house is stunning. Elite Contractors are professional, knowledgeable and skilled. Ken and Ana help guide you through the process from the beginning to end. They have a dedicated team of employees that have been with them for years and do very good work. They gave us a construction timeline, and aside from issues outside of their control. they delivered. They worked diligently. Our house, even while in the midst of all of the construction, was always clean and well maintained. Everyone on the Elite Contractors' team takes pride in their work and does really nice, clean work. During construction, inspectors needed to come through and many of them commented on the clean and solid work that was being done. We are simply thrilled with our new home and we have Elite Contractor Services to thank for that. Thank you Ken and Ana and the whole Elite Contractor Services team!

After starts and stops unrelated to Elite(permitting issues and tons of rain), I have the front porch of my dreams that is the envy of the neighborhood. Ken’s crew were careful and considerate and left the work site safe and clean each day. The quality of the construction is excellent and if there are any issues, Ken addresses them. He’s on site most days of the project. Great job.

We really can't say enough good things about Ken and elite Contractors. We had our basement finished and our master bathroom completely redone and, from the beginning, Ken was very communicative regarding the process and timeline.
