He helped us with the layout decisions and completed all work on schedule and on budget. His team is very professional and punctual, and always respectful of the house where they are working. After the vanity top was installed we noticed a blemish in the stone. This was not Ken’s fault, but he removed it, handled the return, and replaced it with a custom top from one of his suppliers at no extra charge. We are working with Ken now planning our kitchen remodel and deck addition

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 kitchen design package through Angie's List. The vendor came to my home and created a 3D rendering of the kitchen and then met with me via Skype to review and modify the design. I now have a much better idea of what a redesigned kitchen would look like.

Description of Work: I had new flooring in the kitchen, hallway, powder bathroom, and we rebuilt the dining room floor area. We also removed and replaced wall and opened window area in the kitchen I had old kithen cabinets replaced with new cabinets and new granite counter tops in the kitchen. In the powder room we replaced flooring, sink, toliet and accessories. Elite contracors also fixed and completed work on an existing leak. Overall, the project went very well and the owner of the company addressed all my concerns.

Description of Work: A contractor came and measured my kitchen area and then he provided his measurements to a design specialist. About 2 weeks later I received an email with various pictures. Some had to be corrected and the designer was responsive. It was very helpful to get a visual idea about the design possibilities.

Description of Work: We decided to build a mudroom. Ken guided us through the whole design process from initial design to installation. He took the time to understand what we needed and what would be most useful for our mudroom, and then designed it to fit our needs. I had a great comfort level with Ken and I liked the fact that he included me in the design phase.

Description of Work: Full bathroom demolition and remodeling. New vanity, changed bath to a shower, tiled, added new lighting, ventilation fan, and shower and faucet piping.

Description of Work: We had a leak in our ceiling that started within 24 hours. We called several contractors to come out, same day, and help stop our leak. When we spoke with Elite Contractors, they brought someone out within an hour. Their employee opened up our drywall, found the leak, fixed the leak and cleaned up the area within a couple of hours. We had a claim filed on the damage so they were not able to repair drywall, paint, etc until my insurance came out (10 days later) and assessed our damage. Once my claim agent came out and assessed the damage, they paid us the amount to fix the damage. We called Elite Contractors and within a day they came out and fixed the drywall, painted the area, and cleaned up everything for us. They were very professional and very good at their jobs. They were a life saver!

Description of Work: I needed a conference room and an additional office built in my office space. Ken and his staff were able to perform the job in an efficient manner. Him and his staff were very professional, as they did not disrupt our current work. His estimate was on point with his work. I had actually received three estimates from contractors to perform the work and Elite Contractors Services, Inc. were the best price and had provided a detail of the scope of work. Ken personally explained every aspect of the work to me before we began to ensure that I understood the scope of work. This was valuable, because it justifies the price points of the job. It also highlights how much mark up the other quotes were trying to charge me.

Description of Work: My house was built in 1959 , in Arlington, VA. almost every thing in it needed to be replaced .My good luck brought me Elite Contractors and Ken (owner), he came with his architect/designer and looked the house over,took measurement, within few days came back to me with complete plans and a proposal, I looked it over asked for a couple of upgrades and it was agreed upon. A couple of weeks later permits were obtained and work started.the whole house was gutted, changed all old wiring and upgraded lines coming to house and the electrical panel, all the old pipes were removed, new furnace and AC unit, cleaned all ducts (they brought a specialist).My wife's favorite part is the kitchen ,it is the most modern design from the lighting to the back splash it is all awsome.the bathrooms (3) two old ones and a new one added, they are the best in my opinion plus the addition (over 800 Square ft.)After painting was complete the house from the inside was a brand new house,(especially after cleaning the duct work) wich was Ken's suggestion.And after the new roof and siding and new wider and longer drivway I almost did not recognise my own house.from start to finish it took almost 12 week which was within the time frame that was given to me.

Description of Work: We had our circa 1990s out-dated and pretty bad looking bathroom remodeled to a very contemporary and modern look - our dream bathroom. The whole 24' x 10' space was gutted to the studs and framed for a 14' x 10' bathroom and a 10' x 10' walk in closet for 'her'. The contemporary look meant that we didn't want to do anything that was traditional like a vanity on the floor. It had to be a hanging one along with a Vitra wall mount toilet with a hidden in-wall tank. The floors were seamlessly lined with 24" x 24" italian looking, turkish tiles that covered the whole floor and into the shower. The whole bathroom area was water proofed (Ken insisted on it and paid the extra amount himself to have it done - Elite!) and the shower liner was placed in the shower area build up with the cement backing to slope the shower floor for the 48" x 2" long linear drain. Now you're getting idea. Just go to hauzz.com and see where we got some of our ideas. The 71" Mellisa free standing tub was placed near the window along the long dimension with the bath filler between it and the wall. The Grohe rain shower heads and Luxor model volume and temperature controls were place in perfect symmetry on the end wall where the shower occupies the whole width of the space at the far end in a 10' x 4' configuration. Shower walls were (laser) tiled all the way up to the ceiling with the remaining walls up to 4' with the best looking schlauter (first time we heard it we thought it was a sandwich) install along the upper edge of the tiles to finish it off. Of course when you create a bathroom that has a higher floor and need to transition it to an adjacent closet you have to think about the threshold. Ken said, 'No threshold' and suggested we just transition the same time in a slope down to the closet floor. it worked great and now we don't even think twice when entering the bathroom from the closet. Lighting and wiring was also perfect. Four 3" (from Home Depot) recessed Halogen lights in a diamond configuration on the ceiling allowing the perfect center piece to the ceiling (which we still are looking for). Two 3" recessed shower lights centered above each rain shower head and two sconces flanking the 6' mirror above the vanity. All I can say is that we have had our bathroom for 4 months now and every time we go into it we are still saying 'wow, they did a great job'. Can't wait to start the kitchen project but we're still in the design stage with that one. Takes a lot of work you know!

Description of Work: We hired Elite Contractor Services to build an addition to our home in Arlington and to renovate the entire house. that were include adding a new bigger kitchen, a new mater bathroom and a new bedroom, also they added new deck, new siding and beautiful retaining wall and drive way, also new carpet, hardwood floor, painting the entire house and the most important they change all electrical wire, and all plumbing installation to the entire house and a new HVAC system...in fine my house were new house except the outside wall, every thing else was build new.
