OK. Estimator a bit gruff. Estimate was competitively priced, but first impression nullified that. Elected to use someone else at higher price point who was more professional and seemed like they wanted to collaborate with us. Post (10/13/2013) Thank you for confirming our worst fears and initial impressions. There are professionals and there are those who are not. It is plainly obvious in this case.

you don't like me that's fine, you're not doing business with us, is the end of it. you have hired another contractor with higher price then us. Good for you. But why this attitude???!!!! by the way I do have the same feeling toward you (gruff and nullified) Thanks for not hiring us. It was our pleasure. here is the owner email to me do not reflect her review (Hi Ken, We appreciated the detail in your bid estimate, but we have elected to use another contractor who better fit our timeline and budget.) Thanks again. Good luck with the rest of your projects. [member name removed]

Ken is very friendly, professional and attentive. As we walked through my house to discuss the construction, he made several helpful recommendations and ask questions to make sure he understood what I wanted. I found him easy to negotiate with and fair on pricing. Although I did not agree on a contract with Elite, it was not Ken's fault. It had more to do with my own personal financing issues. When I'm ready to do a major project on my home, I plan to call Ken at Elite.

From start to finish the work went really well!! I am a very picky person and I pay a lot of attention to detail. I designed both bathrooms and ordered all of the supplies as well, I had a vision in my head of how I wanted these bathrooms to look. The bathrooms were old and very outdated and I really wanted to up our resale value by making them as modern and beatiful as possible! Both bathrooms from ceiling to floor were remodeled. The bathrooms were gutted out and replaced all new! We used granite counters, travertine tiles, glass mosaic tiles and river rocks to make designs on the walls in the showers and floors of the bathroom which the workers handled well and the designs came out beautiful. The workers were always on time and worked hard the entire time they were here. The owner Ken came by pretty much every day to check on the progress and to make sure that every thing was to my liking. If there were any problems or I wanted to make some changes it was very easy to get in contact with Ken, I never got his voicemail! Even a couple months after our bathrooms were finished he called to check up, to make sure we were still happy with the bathrooms. Any other work we need we will be calling Ken at Elite Contractors to get the job done!!

The crew arrive on time each day, protected my wood floors and set about dismantling the bathroom. By mid-morning the old toilet, vanity and tub had been removed and the work on rebuilding began. The tub went in and installation of the tile was started. On the second day, re-building the bathroom continued. On the third day, my master bathroom was completed. I was in shock that the work was completed ahead of schedule. Ken's crew work throughout each day. They cleaned up each day and let me know when to expect them the following morning. Each day Ken was the first to arrive and inspect the site. He kept me abreast of what to expect. He also inspected throughout the day. When all work was completed, Ken and I did a wall through to make certain everything was to my satisfaction. It was. Next week work will begin on my hall bathroom.

Elite Contractors Services renovated a condo master bathroom, which had a separate vanity area. The work included removal of tub, toilet, vanity, sink, flooring, and fixtures. They worked within the restrictions of the condo rules and completed the work within a week. They installed new bathtub, tiled the bathtub enclosure area, and the surrounding floor. A new toilet was installed as well as new fan and light unit. All switches and electrical receptacles where replaced. They installed a new vanity cabinet with under-mount sink, granite top, lights and mirror in the separate vanity area. They tiled the floor were carpeting formerly existed and painted both areas. Ken supervised all the work and ensured that employees were on-site at 8am (Condo restrictions). All the work was accomplished within the schedule, actually 2 days early and within our agreed to contract budget. We traveled from Colorado to Virginia to be available while the remodeling was being accomplished. Ken was flexible and willing to meet our travel schedule. We are completed satisfied and would highly recommend him. We will definitely use Ken and Elite Contractors Services for any future work on our rental condominium. 02

In November of 2012 I was looking for ideas on how best to renovate my kitchen and came across the "Big Deal" for drawings for what I perceived to be a very good price. Mr. Rahim is quite personable and listened carefully to what I had to say. I explained that I was looking for ideas on what I could do with my kitchen. I told him I was interested in getting ideas on how to proceed with this project and that it was the drawings and ideas I was most interested in. He took many pictures and measurements and I do not think he was here more than an hour. In less than one week, I received an email from the design department with five different views of what my kitchen could look like. I liked what I saw. Mr. Rahim called shortly thereafter and I rudely did not return the call (I apologize for that) as I had become preoccupied with more pressing problems. However, in April I became able to revisit the project and called to see if we could continue with the drawings. Mr. Rahim invited me to his office so we could better discuss the designs. Having offered me an estimate for Elite to renovate my kitchen, I drove to the office in Annandale and met with him and the Elite designer. We looked over materials etc. whereupon I found I have champagne tastes on a beer budget. Nevertheless, changes were made to the kitchen drawings per my request and within the week I received the drawings and measurements I originally paid for.
Description of Work: Elite Contractors took measurements, made drawings, and offered suggestions on what I might be able to do to improve the look and function of my kitchen.

Overall this went well - read the fine print on the big deal carefully! You have a lot of control as you're given a very specific budget for materials and have to pick everything out yourself. I'm the type that likes that challenge and so it took a few trips to home depot and some excel spreadsheets to calculate sq. footage requirements and budget mix - but everything I selected was accurately ordered, delivered and installed. We had a couple small issues with the electrical wiring and a small leak after the vanity install - but each time Ken either sent his guy back right away to correct or stayed there until it was fixed. I don't think the pains were anything out of the ordinary for a contracting project.

This was the third bathroom that Elite remodeled for us. We were very concerned about cost because we were doing the three at the same time, and Ken was very fair about cost and very helpful with our efforts to keep the cost of materials down. The disruption of our home was kept to a minimum - the crew was very clean and pleasant. All mistakes (few and minimal) were corrected cheerfully. The finished products were beautiful, and we are very satisfied. Ken was concerned about the amount of dust in our house after all the work so he sent in a cleaning crew. In addition to our sparkling new bathrooms, the whole house was spotless when the work was finished!

It was a pleasure to have Ken and his crew do this work. I was surprised at how clean they were, and they were very careful. Ken was very patient and helpful with design changes and worries. There are always small problems and mistakes with such things, and Ken cheerfully corrected them all. We are very happy with the result!

I made the appt 2 weeks in advance for 10 am eastern time on a Saturday, which was really 7am for someone just in from California. I called Ken at 10:20 only to be told he forgot and was 1 1/2 hours away. He suggested Sunday at around 1 pm, which was fine. Sunday morning at 8:50 am, he "texts" me to get the address again. He woke me up to ask something he should have known? I texted back and cancelled, absolutely furious that someone would do this on an early Sunday morning. He could have waited a couple of hours. Obviously, the prospect of a whole house remodel didn't interest him if he couldn't be bothered to remember an appointment much less get the address from his office. I called another remodeler from a personal referral. I can't comment on his work quality but we seem to have a communication issue.

It is really strike me how human act, forgiveness is not any more exist in the human dictionary. [member name removed] called me for home remodeling and I accepted to go over 100 mile from my home to see her project, and I mentioned that to her. I told even thus you home is far away from us but I will honor your call. Somehow I missed the appointment, and I was very prompt after my apology to offer to go on Sunday to see her, that day I was far away from the office an appointment, I thought to send her a text asking for her address, she was very bothered because she still was on California time and she cancelled the appointment. I want to know where is the big sine I have committed to be treated this way and to be judged this way from the first mistake????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!one of the goods I have and all customer are very expressive to me that I come on time and very communicative to customer.. Description of Work: Elite completed a basement bathroom, and we are very happy with their work. Ken is very helpful with design, and he/they have been punctual, and very professional and easy to have in our home. They have managed to keep the feeling of invasion and disruption to a minimum, and the workspace is kept and left very clean. The finished bathroom looks great, and they have cheerfully corrected any mistakes/problems. I am using them again for a second bathroom.

Very good value. f we were at the point where we are actually starting the project, I'd hire Ken and Elite Contractors. They seem very skilled and trustworthy.
Description of Work: We are just in the very beginning, "thinking" stage about renovating our kitchen and family room. I bought the big deal (consultation and plans for $99) because I wanted a thorough, professional opinion about what we were dealing with, and I certainly got it. Ken came by on-time, very prepared, took precise measurements, and came up with a beautiful plan that incorporated everything I'd envisioned. I was particularly impressed by the fact that he kept making suggestions about how I could achieve the results I wanted while still saving money. He then sent me a wonderful 3D plan that really helped me figure out what we are going to do as we move forward.

Based on the previous reviews on Angie's List, I was expecting a stellar job. Ken, the owner, came to my condo to provide an estimate. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the proposal, and the price was acceptable. I was surprised that he proposed to build a concrete shower basin, and checked with one of my building engineers whether that was usual, and he said it was a good way to go. I also had private concerns that Ken had proposed that I vent the humidity into the space between the false ceiling and the concrete slab for the floor above, but I had planned to run duct work myself that would vent humidity outside. Weighed against the other proposals, his was the best, so I hired him. A crew of two came with Ken the first day of the job. Ken made a big production of protecting my bedroom from the construction dust by putting up heavy duty plastic in the doorway and installing a zipper so people could get in and out. Problem was, the workers kept the zipper open most of the time, which allowed a lot of construction dust to get out. In addition, some drywall was added to the door frame to accommodate my new door, so there was sanding that occurred outside where the plastic had been installed. All this dust caused me to have nightly asthma attacks, despite the fact that the workers did their best to clean after themselves. These two guys worked like demons, absolutely nonstop for 5 days, including a Saturday. They did a great job on the framing and drywall, and provided a waterproof shower. They tiled the floor, grouted, trimmed, painted, installed to the best of their ability everything they were supposed to. Ken came by the condo every day to review the work and to communicate any concerns I had. Neither worker spoke English well, and I don't speak Spanish, so a translator was an absolute necessity. They came back one day the next week to install a door that I had ordered and which hadn't arrived until late on the last day. Ken sent a professional cleaner (at his expense) to clean my condo. All good things. The first issue I ran into was water pooling in the shower, due to installation of the drain above the level of the shower pan. The worker who did this didn't account for the wide flange for the drain, which should have been embedded in the concrete. He pulled up the tiles on the shower floor (luckily I had bought plenty of extras), regraded the cement floor, let it dry, then tiled and grouted. I was happy that they fixed it, but it should have been right in the first place. After living with the bathroom job for a couple of weeks, problems started popping up involving fit and finish. These defects (in addition to the drain episode) show a fundamental lack of understanding of how to install materials commonly used in bathrooms. Here is the list: 1. The set screw used to engage the shower handle with the shower cartridge was not tightened sufficiently. An early symptom was jerkiness in the movement of the handle when trying to adjust the water temperature. I thought this was the nature of the faucet. Finally, the handle started spinning around without turning the water on. I spent last Saturday morning figuring out how to resolve this issue. 2. The towel rack set screws were not properly tightened. In one case, a screw did not even make it into the guide hole. I corrected this problem on my own. 3. Floor transitions between rooms were improperly installed. The existing laminate floor in my bedroom was cut too short and on a curve, so I will be replacing some of the boards. Fortunately, I bought extra when I had the laminate floor installed. The workers did not remove the plastic protection from the resin slabs prior to installation. The resin slabs were attached entirely to tile instead of spanning the gap between tile and laminate. There was an attempt to attach a quarter round trim piece to either side of the door trim with horizontal finish nails. My shoe got under this, lifting it up. Luckily I caught the tripping hazard before falling flat on my face. 4. The floor tile cuts were too far from the door moldings to even attempt to hide with a caulk line. The proper way to make the cuts would have been to undercut the door trim and hide the irregular cut. 5. Floor trim was painted after the tiles were installed. I am still working to get errant lines of paint off the floor. 6. While on the floor peeling plastic protectors from the resin transitions, I noticed that there was no caulk used between the wall/door trim and the tile floor. This should have been done to seal inevitable gaps and to make for a professional finish. This is the list of problems as of March 18, 2013. I am hoping that the pvc drains are properly welded. I also noticed that some of the floor trim was cut sort, and in one case didn't line up with previously existing trim. In fairness, I presented the issues to Ken, and he offered to fix everything. Based on what I've seen of his workers' skills and his previous attempt to fix the floor transitions, I don't believe they are capable of doing professional finish carpentry. Their skills seem to be limited to framing, drywall, and tiling that involves straight cuts. I am very disappointed and have some work ahead of me.
Description of Work: I hired Elite Contractors Services, Inc. to provide labor to finish my master bathroom. I had already done most of the demolition and plumbing. They provided labor to complete demolition of the old doorway, build a water proof tile shower with safety bars, frame and drywall the room so all the walls lined up, install vanity, lights, mirrors, fan, new door, plumbing hardware, towel racks, floor tile, trim, and paint. I supplied all finish materials. They provided construction materials.

Mr. Rahim arrived a few minutes before 9:00am on Saturday. He was cheerful and very easy going. He assessed the bathroom and asked us what we were looking for in the remodel. His honesty was refreshing and he didn't shy away from telling us what additional work would need to be done and the purpose for it. He didn't try to push us towards anything we didn't want or need, he just gave us options and his fair and square estimate. As I mentioned before, he is a true professional who you can trust to do the work right the first tim
Description of Work: We were in the market for a bathroom remodel that wouldn't break the bank. So many contractors are trying to overcharge for a simple hall bathroom remodel it's ridiculous. His ultimate goal is to have a satisfied customer who is happy with the work his company does. Furthermore, he engaged us in the process and encouraged us to ask questions so that we were involved in the process from start to finish. He first measured the bathroom for the approximate square footage. He found the bathroom was slightly bigger than 5 X 7 so he explained that he would have to charge a slight bit more but the extra price was very reasonable. He looked over the bathroom and explained the materials would come from Home Depot (many other contractors had more expensive suppliers therefore driving up the costs) and that we could select the materials and designs we liked and he would pick it up and bring it to our home. After measuring the space, he explained options such as shelves for the bath, new tile for the floor and walls and updating the GFE outlets. This was exactly what we had in mind. To finish, he stated the job should take no more than five days. That was music to our ears! If you ask if I would recommend Elite Contractors Service, the answer is yes, I highly recommend working with Elite Contractors Service.

As a single mom, I am always wary of service providers, however, Ken Rahim, the owner of Elite Contractor Services was amazing! I received several bids for remodeling my outdated bathrooms and kitchen, and while the cost of the bids were similar, I felt Ken was very trustworthy from the very beginning. He and his team were incredibly dependable, and showed up right on time every day and finished the project ahead of schedule. Less than 2 weeks for two brand new bathrooms and a kitchen! I would not hesitate to recommend Ken to anyone, and plan to use him again in the future.

We contacted Ken to bid on renovating the basement and remodeling our kitchen in late November, with plans to move into our new home at the end of December. Ken came to the house in the evening, accomodating our work schedules. We knew we were going to do only one of the two projects at this time, but had not decided which, so Ken happily provided us an estimate for both. Ken was so fast in providing us the estimates. Once we decided to work with Ken, the ball started rolling quickly. I met with his wife, Ana, to design the space then within a week and a half, Ken was installing the cabinets! Ken and his team were fast and tidy. They placed plastic on the floor and hung a plastic drape in order to keep the dust out of the rest of the house. It took just one day for Ken's team to remove the existing exit door, brick up the opening, and cut and install the new exit door! On Christmas Eve, Ken brought in a professional cleaning company to clean the entire house, to make sure it was ready for us to move in. Ken's team worked all the way through Christmas Eve so when we moved in on the day after Christmas, our new home and kitchen were ready! We are so happy that we worked with Elite and will definitely be contacting them again for future renovation projects!

I can't say enough about how amazing it was to work with Ken (owner), his office manager, Ana (his wife and the wonderful woman who keeps him in line ;)), and his team! Before starting my project, I met with 6-8 different contractors - all who I found on Angie's List. Half of them NEVER got me a quote, a couple were outrageously high, and another was so low it scared me - lol. When I first met Ken, he was professional, personable, and wasn't concerned at all about executing on the many details I had in mind. When he turned around a very reasonable proposal, within a week, it was a done deal. Based on our meeting, his professionalism, and his timeliness, I new I had a winner. The team started work immediately and Ken came by daily to check on the job. The team was always respectful, polite, and, all-in-all, pretty CLEAN (for demolishing a brick wall, that says a lot!). If there were any questions or minor issues (so-in-so missed the molding on this window, etc) I could immediately call or text Ken and it was always an easy 1-2-3 answer or fix. Even when the guys accidentally installed my bathroom door incorrectly, because it couldn't be fixed, Ken completely replaced it - no questions asked! All the folks that he brought in (plumbers, electricians, engineers, etc) were always professional, friendly, and went above and beyond. The electrician helped (and taught) me how to replace my outside light fixtures (that was out of scope). The Elite Team (Elvin, Santos, etc) actually carried my Christmas Tree in for me off the top of my car! The plumber helped me replace my bathroom faucet (again, out of scope). This is all because the people Ken hires trust and respect him. He doesn't nickel and dime his customers and he treats his employees and subcontracts the same way. He's just not nit-picky about those kind of things - some contractors could say, "no, we won't install this other light fixture without a change order", but Ken is fair and true to his word. Oh and I forgot to mention, when the project was done he had the guys spend a half day actually helping me to MOVE all my furniture and boxes into the house that were being stored in the garage!!! All I can say is my house is BEAUTIFUL. My kitchen is TO DIE FOR. And I'm SO HAPPY with the final product. But, even more important than that, I found a contractor, a person, and a team that I truly TRUST - with my home, my money, my expectations. I also found friends, in both Ana and Ken. :)

It took Elite Contractors Services, Inc. less time to remodel my bathroom, than for me to write a review. (which is not a reflection of my total satisfaction of the job) As I recall, I was given an estaimted time of 10 to 14 days to complete....it was done in 4 1/2 days. I am so pleased with the outcome, and the area was cleaned up when the project was finished. General Manager Ken Rahim stayed in contact with me throughout the project to report on the status of the work, and followed up after the project was completed to make sure I was happy with my new bathroom. I highly recommend Elite Contractors Services, Inc. for itscraftmanship, professionalism and outstanding customer service. Thank you Ken and crew.

Ken and Ana of Elite Contracting Services are an excellent team. Ana's design for our outdated kitchen was an wonderful use of the space and met all our requirements with only a few modest adjustments. Ana has an good eye for design and is very easy to work with. She and Ken helped us with the selection of cabinetry (and its many options), tile, and paint color. The new kitchen is both an attractive and comfortable space thanks to Ana's careful planning and efficient layout. Ken has very similar personal qualities. He listens well and is open to minor adjustments to the plan. His team of workers and those he engages for specialty tasks are excellent. Unlike some contractors we have worked with, Ken shows up frequently and stays for long periods to monitor the job. Any issues raised with Ken were resolved quickly and completely. Although we asked Ken to move the project up nearly a month, he was able to keep to the work schedule he originally projected. He and his team made up for a delay by the cabinet manufacturer by working weekends once the material was available. Both Ken and his team are pleasant, easy to work with, and professional. He offers a no jargon contract, clearly spelling out what will be done by him and that for which the homeowner will be responsible. I actually used the contract as a checklist while work was progressing. My wife and I are both very happy with the end result and would work with Elite Contracting again and recommend them highly.
Description of Work: Design and execution of a complete kitchen renovation, including demolition of the existing kitchen, a new tile floor, installation of new cabinets and appliances, granite counter tops, painting, and changes to the arched kitchen entryway.

Ken came by my house to make sure he could do the work within the Angie's list offer. We discussed what was not covered under the offer and came to an agreement. We did three or four iterations of the contract to reach a mutually agreeable solution. I need to stress that these discussions were always friendly and we both worked toward a viable solution. It is very important to read the whole contract on Angie's List, especially the smaller print, and make sure you and the contractor agree on what is covered. In my case, Ken and I had to come to an agreement about the tub fixtures (and we did). Who wants a new bathroom, but the old tub fixtures? Angie's List needs to fix this omission in future offerings. Anyway, Ken and his crew arrived at 8am Tuesday morning. Ken said they expected to be finished on Friday (which they did) and it was a big relief to my wife because the contract said between 5 and 10 days. Ken came by every day to check on progress and we had discussions during those visits. It was hard having your house in turmoil for four days, but we survived. We did require some painting touch-up on Monday. I generally liked the work and I got a beautiful bathroom, but there were a few glitches due to mistakes my wife and I made about fixtures and other bathroom items and due to some language communication problems with the workers. I liked working with Ken and we had a good working relationship; I had questions and he offered advice. I would work with him again and consider him almost a friend. He has a couple of workers who are very interesting people whom I would not mind having back in my home.

The work was completed in just over two days. The crew was very prompt, polite and professional. They were also very neat. There was almost no dust and all waste materials were removed immediately. Construction caused a minimum of disruption. We are very pleased with our new bathroom and would not hesitate to recommend Elite Contractors to others.
Description of Work: Our 5 x 8 foot bathroom was completely gutted and redone. We selected our new tiles, fixtures, colors, etc. and Elite removed and disposed of all old materials, and purchased, delivered and installed new ceramic wall and floor tiles, bath tub, shower, toilet, vanity and sink, and painted the walls and ceiling.

I need to preface this by saying we'd worked with six other plumbing and remodeling companies to try and get the problem with the shower fixed over a period of four months. Issues with a warranty, misdiagnosis, people showing up and then never submitting a bid or just disappearing, one plumbing company that we'd used for years sending over some 19-year-old who flatly refused to remove the tile correctly (first time in my life I've ever had to order a contractor off my property) and then, Elite. Ken was an absolute professional, very knowledgeable, worked with me extensively to come up with solutions that were cost effective and long lasting. Extremely responsive, professional, and dedicated. The crew was excellent; they took great pains to avoid doing any damage and cleaned up well after themselves. They showed up when they said they would and kept to their schedule. Job finished up one day late because tile was out of stock (Elite's folks actually drove around town locating a replacement). In any job like this, you have to rely on your contractors to help you make good choices, and Elite's team was excellent in this regard; I have a high degree of confidence that the repairs are permanent and very long lasting. In addition the work looks great. Followup has been excellent; when I asked Ken if he could send somebody by for an adjustment, they scheduled a visit right away, no questions asked. Really can't say enough about how painless this was after months of torture. And I can say authoritatively, because we had so many other companies bidding for this job, that we got an excellent price, particularly given the amount of labor that went into this. Thanks guys.
Description of Work: Demo base of shower, remove cracked shower pan, build custom pan, retile, install exhaust fan in bathroom, rebuild pipe box in basement, repaint.

I called them first to make sure that he serviced my area and to clarify some specifics of the deal. I then purchased the deal, and he came and did a site-visit. The bathroom is already gutted and empty. He said that normally it would cost about $9000 to re-do that type of bathroom, which was comparable to other estimates I had gotten. After that, he sent me the quote, which was about $8500. The deal covered about $10,000 of labor and materials, so I was glad that it was less than the total. He emailed to say that he’d call me to set up service, but he never did. I waited and finally I contacted him to set up service, and he explained then that it was about $3000 that I had to pay additionally. We went back and forth then, about the price and the distance. After getting nowhere with him, I just decided to get a refund.

Response from Elite Contractors Services Inc
I was stunned, shocked, and unbelieving state of mind when I read the Customer's review, I believe Angie’s list where consumer can go and express their truth experience with the vendor, and is not a place where revenge and envy can have a place to twist realities of the facts. The Deal on Angie’s List is engineered and designed by them we have nothing to do with it other than doing the job. The Customer called us for the deal I told him, I have to see the bathroom, he insisted on buying the baggage, he called me back and said to me that he bought the Deal and he wanted me to schedule a meeting to see the bathroom, I did, and I went there, when first I saw his bathroom, right away I told him your situation does not fit the deal, and I explained why. I told him I am going to send you the contract with change order for the additional work his bathroom required. the Big Deal is very Clear "A Regular Bathroom Renovation Cost $10,000 but with the Big deal you can get it for $ 5,999 under the following conditions, and also if you go on our website, you will see same deal base on 5x7 Bathroom. Bathroom Remodel Includes: • $1,200 credit for new materials (see fine print) • Demolition of old bathroom • Disposal of all trash • 1/2" cement board installed on floors and walls surrounding shower • Installation of up to 100 sq ft of tile on floor and walls, grout • New toilet/new vanity w/counter top/new medicine chest/shower & bath faucet/sink, new exhaust fan (if one already exists)/new shower rod, and paint on walls and ceiling. The Fine Print of the promotion; Coupon includes allowance of $1,200 for materials: up to $200 for new tub, up to $150 for new toilet, up to $200 for vanity combo, up to $100 for medicine cabinet, up to $150 for shower head, up to $100 lavatory, up to $200 for tiles, up to $50 for light fixture, up to $50 for miscellaneous. The Customer has a roughed-in bathroom in the basement with only a rough plumbing & electrical, has no drywall, no door, neither electrical installation. Which mean for us, to start working in his bathroom we have to do the following? 1. we need to go about 18” underground to install the drain and that required breaking 4” concrete because there is no drain in the shower area. 2. Finish all plumbing and electrical installation to get it ready to use. 3. Following that ,we have to install the Drywall and do the finishing before to start installing the Tile 4. He wanted to have a stand up shower, versus the deal said bath tub and here another change order. During the meeting I mentioned to him that his bathroom does not fit the deal, but We can send you a contract accepting the deal plus the additional charges for the additional work that need to be done before we start working with items mentioned on the deal and after his acceptance the next step is set up the appointment to start working on his project. The project including using the big deal coupon of $5,499 our estimate was an additional $3000.00 to get his bathroom complete. The Customer call yesterday and later in the afternoon I return his call to set up the day to start working in his project but at this point the Customer was expecting to get items that wasn't specified neither on the Big Deal nor in my estimate an additional work and items that he was thinking to get because he believe he has a deal worth $10,000 of work and material. Like: • frameless shower door worth $900.00 which it’s not mentioned on the deal • he wanted a stand up shower versus the deal said bath tub; • he wants to upgrade vanities, lavatories, ligth fixtures for around $ 1500 when in the fine print of the promotion the budgets for those items all together are $ 350 We tried to explain to him the deal, he refused to accept it the Customer did not understood the Deal and It is unfortunate for us that the Customer feel dissatisfied because his reaction to post this kind of review Its just to hurt our company reputation and credibility neither has a merit nor truthiness. The Customer wanted to get an additional work worth $4500.00 for free because he believes he bought a baggage worth $10,000 worth of work. The big problem was either we accept or else. Unfortunately his baseless reaction was intended to put down our company. I am the one who called Angie’s List Customer Services asking them for his full refund, and I had to explain to them the full story with the Customer. Finally, the Customer was very happy and thankful with our services and professionalism and expressed that several time, until that he discovered that the deal he bought is completely different from the reality. That’s was why I got “c” rating from the Customer???!!!

A complete transformation... Elite Contractors restored my love for my home. My kitchen is absolutely beautiful. Every member of the team was professional, friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure working with this group of people. Ken, the project, manager, was patient and kind. We appreciate his honesty and integrity. Ana's design skills gave us exactly what we were looking. She steered us in the right direction when it came to designing a functional kitchen. Ray, the foreman, was there to answer all our questions. Dealing with homeowners that are new to remodeling can't be easy - I'm happy Ray was there to reassure us every step along the way. The crew was amazing - they worked so hard every single day. You can tell these folks love what they do. We couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence about who to trust with your home projects - look no further than Elite Contractors Service, Inc. They will treat you and your home with respect. You can count on them to be honest and straightforward. They will make you feel like part of the team. I want to say a special thank you to Ken and Ana's beautiful twins. As Ana and I were focused on a kitchen design, the twins were busy making art of their own. During one of our last design sessions, the twins surprised me with drawings they made for me. Those little drawings helped calm my nerves and put me at ease. I knew at that moment, these are good people and we were making the right choice!
