We were established in 2002 and have 4 crews. Residential and commercial junk removal to remove all your junk. Just point it out and away it goes.
We now remove paint and any non-flamable products for additional charges.
Dirty Deeds Junk Removal appears to be out of business. They didn't reply to my two voicemails. They didn't reply to my two schedule requests on their website. They did reply to my "are you still in business?" email, but only to say they're having problems and they'll try to find my contacts. And then they went silent again. They didn't reply to my follow up email. So I hired another junk removal company. Never heard from Dirty Deeds Junk Removal again. Which is a shame because they were great the first time I used them.

It went great! Very easy for me since I simply showed them what I wanted removed and then they took it out to their truck. At least a dozen things. They were very reasonably priced and friendly as well!

Nick and his crew completed a renovation with an all new kitchen (cabinets, flooring, granite, stainless appliances), which looked stunning. Bathrooms are his specialty, the detail work on the tile in the shower (a fantastic addition of a shampoo shelf) and exceptional choices in matching and coordinating tile, sink and fixtures which came out beautifully. Every room was repainted (walls and trim) to make it look brand new. The subfloors were leveled and new carpet installed to make the renovation complete. Nick makes sure all the details are correct. He cares that the final results are done right and look great.

It has been a short while since the service was performed, so I don't remember the exact date or cost. However, I collected a lot of trash from the property from the previous owner from the yard, shed, attic, etc. Even though there were some very large items as well as a heavy piece of furniture in the house that needed to be removed, they were able to get it all done without an issue. They were professional, friendly, and I recall the price was very reasonable. I would definitely call them again in the future.

Nick was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and reliable from start to finish. This was a large project...renovating the entire house. Everything came out beautifully, from the kitchen makeover with painted cabinets, new granite, new appliances, to the matching family room bar to newly installed hardwood floors. Nick picked out, purchased and installed new light fixtures which make the house look new for a very reasonable price. Nick's craftsmen's tile work is like art, his design and insights created three functional and beautiful new bathrooms. Nick coordinated, scheduled and managed the painting of the entire house, he even picked out some fabulous color choices. The new carpet installation went smoothly and was the finishing touch to the total transformation. Not only did Nick focus on the inside of the house, but he was instrumental in having the outside of the home painted, sided and landscaped to make it like new. He managed all this efficiently and professionally at all times. I enjoyed working with Nick and would highly recommend him on house renovation projects of any kind!

They were good. On the day they came out which was the scheduled day, it was pouring down torrential rain. I really didn't expect them to show up, and they showed up right on time, and they worked through all that pouring rain, and cleaned up after themselves. It was fantastic! I have no complaints there at all. What I liked most about them was the fact that they came when they said they were going to come and they worked under conditions I would never work on. They do what they say they are going to do. I was pleased with what they did and how they did it. The price was a little higher than I anticipated, but I think doing my review, going through websites, it appears that that is the going rate. I have no complaints. Their price seemed to be the same price everybody else is charging. They were very punctual. In fact, they were a little bit early. They were very professional. They clearly knew what they needed to do, which to me was unusual because they knew how to take a part off of the hot tub, and get rid of it piece by piece without creating a gigantic mess.

Hello and thanks for the great review. I agree that the price seems expensive for the Hot Tub removal but when it's recessed in a deck they can be very difficult to remove and generally require more labor and cutting. We try to be as competitive as possible and usually have our competition beat by as much as 50% on removal. Please remind me of your job when you need us again and I'll see if I can sweeten the deal for you. Thanks, Nick

Nick Thomas, the owner of Dirty Deeds, was incredibly responsive in getting a condo that was in very poor condition remodeled and ready to sell in about a week. The result was multiple offers on the condo and its ultimate sale in less than a month. He worked hand-in-hand with a real estate stager's recommendations to provide a quote for the work, and then promptly began repairs. The renovation included replacing all carpeting, painting all walls, replacing the kitchen countertops, replacing tile in the kitchen, both bathrooms and the entry, replacing all lighting fixtures, replacing vanities in both bathrooms, repairing wallboard damage, treating pet stains/smells on a balcony and the wood sub flooring (prior to replacing carpet). He started on a Wednesday and the condo was ready for real estate listing photos the following Thursday. Nick was easy to work with, extremely knowledgable on how to get the desired results, including suggesting additional ideas/options for further improvements. I strongly recommend his company.

I wish that I was writing a positive review but I can't. I am a single, working mother and Nick Taylor quit my kitchen renovation project right before Thanksgiving. The renovation was about 90% complete and right before the holidays, everyone is having work done to their kitchens so it has been a struggle to find people who are available to finish my project. I found Nick Taylor for my kitchen renovation by having something hauled from my home. Everything was great until the project started the first week of November. Prior to starting on my project, I pointed out things to Nick like my floor being crooked and possible plumbing issues. After he started, Nick complained a lot about my old house costing him money. The voicemails and text messages from Nick were almost daily about problems that are encountered anytime you renovate an existing structure. The messages and texts grew more and more unprofessional as time went on. Although I did not make any changes to the design, the project ended up getting delayed because his office manager didn't get the right permit and because his carpenters used the wrong drawings to move a dining room entrance. There were other instances of people not showing up as scheduled, further delaying my project. Because I wanted my kitchen done as quickly as possible, I agreed to let people work outside of business hours too. This is not easy because I have two young boys and as you can imagine, a construction site is very exciting for them. On the day that Nick quit my kitchen renovation, he had yelled at me several times and swore at me. That morning, people showed up at my house that I wasn't expecting so I simply asked what they were going to do. Because of miscommunication/language barrier between him and his crew, Nick falsely accuse me of turning his guys away from my house (but they were at my house working). I will say that the work performed was decent quality (not superb) and the price he quoted me for this work was a good price. But because he quit, I have had to take time off of work to find someone else to finish - this is vacation I cannot take around the holidays now. Nick's lack of professionalism was really disturbing. He may be a good choice to renovate a home that is not occupied but I would not recommend him otherwise.

Response from Dirty Deeds Junk Removal
Let me start my response by saying, let all my A ratings speak for itself and how much I care about giving my customers value and 100% quality service. I was a mental health therapist for 10 years working for Fairfax County before starting my company. I specialized in dealing with the most difficult of cases but even in my 10 years of service to people who were truly physically and emotionally challenged did I ever get disrespected as the way [member name removed] did to me and my other contractors. [member name removed] wrote that she is a single mother of 2 boys and that is the same way she sold me on giving her an unheard of price for her kitchen remodeling which consisted of kitchen demolition and hauling of debris, wiring for new lighting and relocating a few outlets(not adding circuit breakers which she needed done), plumbing for relocating her sink and dishwasher across her large kitchen, to an opposite wall. (plumbing and electrical permits, tile installation and minor leveling of floor(was major leveling taking an extra day and more money to correct), cabinets and installation, moving and widening a doorway, correcting trim on another doorway, and making it's exterior without trim, removing bulk heads and closing them in, relocating water line for her refrigerator. The amount of work with her house being older and not to current county code was going to make this job take longer than normal. [member name removed] agreed to all terms and asked me to start on October 21st, saying she needed it done by the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I told her if we start on the 21st, it shouldn't be a problem. As the 21st approached [member name removed] called to tell me she was going on a Ted Nugent party cruise to the Bahamas for a week with a friend and now we couldn't start until the 28th of October. I was very taken back because I had already talked to her about the fact of not knowing what issues we could run into and how long those might take to correct. She told me she needed this break from her kids and needed to cut loose a bit. Once again, I was accepting because she brought her children into the equation. I did tell her that it was putting extra burden and expense on me because my men would have to work longer hours and possibly on Saturdays if needed. She told me she would make sure they could work as long as they needed and even the weekends. I told her my concerns with working the weekends was that her children would be home and we couldn't have them in the work area. She told me it wouldn't be a problem, she would take them out of the house or send them to their fathers house. I also informed [member name removed] before work ever commenced that I couldn't possibly know what was under her Pergo flooring, behind her cabinets or in her walls. I told her that if we ran into things that weren't included on the estimate, that there would be additional costs for such work. She said fine but once we started finding lots of problems with her electrical wiring, her moldy drywall behind and above her kitchen cabinets, support beams being in the wrong areas in her crawl space where lights were supposed to go into that ceiling, that I wasn't allowed to see when I was estimating the job, I let her know I would have to add additional costs. [member name removed] started telling me the same thing she did when I was doing the estimate for her which was that she was a single parent and couldn't afford additional items and begged me for a break again and wanted me to do these things that were creeping up for free. I reminded her that when I gave her the estimate that I was only doing the job at $2,500 over my costs because she said she was a single parent. When I gave her the estimate originally I told her that I understood the struggles of being a single parent because my mother was a single parent that raised 2 children. However, my mother didn't make 6 figures nor did we didn't have the luxury of owning a home, receiving child support, having a new SUV or a father or relatives around to ease my mothers burden. I still felt that [member name removed] would have her hands full with what she was having to deal with as a single parent and was cutting her breaks all over the place. [member name removed] seemed unappreciative of the amount of work and upgrades I was giving her for free. When I would call to update her daily on progress and let her know what things would come up that weren't part of the job, she would say it's remodeling and you should know it's going to have things come up. I reminded her of our conversation before I started the work, that she would be responsible for paying for these things that weren't part of my bid. She wanted to argue and was verbally disrespectful to me. When I stood up for myself, she said that she would give me her 3 bathrooms to remodel when we were done with her kitchen and that she would make sure I made profit on those 3 bathrooms. I told her that I needed t be paid for this work first before I would ever consider remodeling her bathrooms for her. She was very rude and said, just take care of whatever needs to be done and we'll settle up when you're finished. So even though [member name removed] was being rude to me and very difficult to communicate with, I still kept her abreast of costs that were accruing that weren't part of the job I bid. Then on the 9th of November [member name removed] informed me that she was having a party on the 18th and that the kitchen needed to be done by then. I told her what we had agreed on and how much time all these extra things were taking and costing. [member name removed] had only given me 1/3 of the cost to start the work and hadn't given me any other money as she was supposed to have already paid me another 1/3 of the bid not to mention the thousands of dollars worth of additional repairs that had to be done to get to that point in the job. This added lots of tension between [member name removed] and I because she was constantly disrespecting me and now changing the completion date would require additional overtime for me to pay my guys to meet her date for her party she was having for her old college friends that were coming into town. Then on the 11th [member name removed] who seemed to enjoy costing me extra money in labor changed her party to the 15th. At this point I knew we wouldn't have the kitchen completed and inspections done so I told her that we couldn't meet that date and that I wasn't going to be able to accommodate any more changes in the completion date. I told her that I was sticking to the original timeline but would still have my guys there early and have them working late and on Saturdays. I reminded her that her boys would need to be kept clear of the working area and that Saturday, we would be finishing her new tile floor and that nobody could walk on it. She assured me it wouldn't be a problem. That Saturday I received a call from my guys who were very upset with [member name removed] and her lack of manageability of her 2 boys(5 and 8). They told me that the boys were running around her large kitchen floor where they were grouting and messing things up as well as playing with their tools. They told me that they were asking the boys to please stay out of the work area but they were laughing and purposely causing problems. They said it seemed as if they were being told to run around there because of one of the children was saying "my mommy said we could play in the kitchen." My guys also were calling for [member name removed] but weren't getting any response. After I heard that from my guys, I began calling [member name removed] but was unable to reach her. I then drove to [member name removed] house and found her sitting in her Surburban texting on her phone. I told her that her children had been running around the work area inside and messing up my guys work. I reminded her that she told me she would make sure they would not get in the way. She responded that it isn't easy being a single parent of 2 boys and they don't listen to her and she was doing the best she could. [member name removed] then took her 2 boys and left the property so my guys could finish the day. I also reminded [member name removed] that she was behind on paying me and that I would need a check. She responded that it was going to take a couple days because she needed to transfer money from one of her other accounts. I said fine but also told her that we had a lot of things that would also need to be paid for as well. [member name removed] did eventually pay me the second installment but asked me to wait to deposit to make sure all the transferred funds were in her other account. To try and accommodate [member name removed] job with an early completion date I had to have my cabinet installers work overtime and work into the evening at her house. When I told her this she was very happy. However, that evening [member name removed] came home from work and saw that only one cabinet had been installed and called me at 5pm and began yelling at me because only one had been installed. I calmly asked her to quit yelling at me and reminded her that the guys had to read the the plans, take all cabinets out of there boxes, measure and mark walls and stud areas for install as well as double check the measurements of the cabinets that were there. [member name removed] doesn't have a small kitchen and had many things to take into account before installation could begin. I told her that all the leg work was done and that the install would go quickly from this point. My guys stayed until 9pm and almost finished her installation.(2 hours from completion) The guys were coming back in the morning to finish at 8am. My other guys were going back at 7am to complete baseboard trim etc.. so things were coming to a finish with my job. However, when my guys(Spanish, who speak English) arrived at 7am, [member name removed] began yelling at them and talking down to them as she had before. She told them there was nothing they should be doing and that she didn't know anyone was working that day, even though it was a weekday. My guys did what she asked and left the house but called me from outside. After hearing that she was having this type of behavior again, I spoke with her and asked why she was sending my guys away. She said there was no reason for them to be there and there was nothing for them to do. I told her I had drawn the line and wasn't going to be letting her talk down to my guys because they were Spanish(she had made several comments that I felt were inappropriate to me about them) I told her my guys are Americans and have been in this country for many, many years and deserved her respect. I told her I wouldn't allow her to disrespect them or myself any longer and told her I felt used for my constant generosity. She told me to remove my lockbox and give her the key from it. I then called my guys and asked them to do so, which they did. She then wanted me to continue working for her but on her schedule and when she would be home. I was only 10 hours from completion but refused to go on with the work. It had been a struggle with her from day one. It was hard to get paid and the constant disrespectfulness to me and my guys was no longer worth it. I grew up very poor and had to work for all the things I had. I experienced all kinds of people who felt inclined to belittle myself and my family because of our status situation. I later put myself through college and have become very successful in life and business. It was the thought of someone treating myself and my guys that we weren't worth respecting that I finally reached my boiling point and told [member name removed] to find someone else for the small amount of remaining work to be done. She seemed pleased with that because she new she was avoiding the final payment of $4,000.00 and the additional costs of $2,763.00 for all the extra work completed. I have moved on and washed my hands of that job and all the things that go along with it but it's hard to read such things and not want to take [member name removed] to court for the money I am owed. I take satisfaction in knowing that myself and my men did a great job for [member name removed] and went the extra mile and expense to please her. A lot of lessons were learned from this job and I won't ever be a victim of that type of behavior or disrespect again. Nor will I keep working on a job without being paid on time or for extra work that's not included in an estimate without being paid upfront. I will end my response to [member name removed] review, the same way I started it. "Let my A rating speak for itself" If anyone needs references about my work, I will gladly open my database of thousands of customers and let you call any of them at your choosing for a reference. We are committed to giving our customers 100% satisfaction. Thanks, Nick Thomas(not Taylor)

Nick worked tirelessly to empty and clean the single family home from top to bottom. Since the house was dated, and needed renovation before it could be sold, Nick took on the entire project. From wall cleaning, painting, bathroom updates and a total kitchen remodel, he did superior work efficiently and professionally. Nick was always pleasant to work with and professional every step of the way. He kept to his schedule even with increasing requests. His attention to detail and care to get everything done to make the house sell within a week with multiple offers over list price.

Nick was very responsive and gave me a reasonable quote over the phone. The guys called me 30 min. prior to arriving and arrived on the early side of the window, which was my preference. The guys had a tough time as the sectional had to be divided into 4 pieces and my hallway is rather narrow. All and all they did an excellent job and would use this service again.

The two men arrived within the time frame they said they would. The club house came down rather easily. they cut up all the wood and removed it from the back yard. they also cleaned up the area where the clubhouse was.Their price was much cheaper than the other companies I contacted.
Description of Work: They demolished a child's club house that had been standing for about 35 years and hauled the wood away.

The guys who came were very polite, on time, and went straight to work. They piled everything into the truck and cleaned up the whole area. It looks so much better. They also trimmed a couple of dead branches from a dogwood and took them away.
Description of Work: I had several years worth of huge tree branches in big piles to be picked up.
