I was looking for a contractor to replace my aging furnace, AC, and gas water heater, and I could not have picked a more professional and reliable contractor. I ended up installing a Carrier gas furnace + AC evap/condensing unit, Aprilaire steam humidifier, and gas water heater. Why they were fantastic:: * Honest upfront pricing * They listened to my needs, and did not try to up-sell me on equipment I did not need * All equipment was new and in great condition * During installation, they called or texted the evening before, and in the AM before arrival (*VERY* rare with contractors these days) * They advised me of other services they offer, but did not try to push anything on me * They left no trace that they were there Wonderful people. I will recommend to folks who are looking for HVAC repairs or installations.

Ivan Jr. showed up for the quote, was polite and pleasant. He recommended a cool product, Art Cool, that both me & my friend liked. He looked around the house inside & out, wasn't sure how he will connect the electrical but said he'll check. In the end he gave a reasonable quote of $3400 for the complete job with products & components. My friend verified the price was for the Art Cool and includes all installations & warranty. When I asked Ivan if there's other units that are more cost effective because my budget was $3000 he said he will check and he's pretty sure they can meet close to my price. The written quote was supposed to come next morning but I had not received it by COB next day. I called the company & a lady said she'll check with Ivan Jr, still no reply. After 2 days I called Ivan Jr direct again & he said he'll get the price in the morning. The written estimate didn't come till afternoon and the price $3400 is now for a cheaper unit, not Art Cool. I called Ivan Jr & asked why the cheaper unit isn't lower in price he said the price he quoted me 2 days ago was for a cheaper unit. Which wasn't true. He showed us online the product he recommends & we confirmed with him the price he gave was for Art Cool. Ivan Jr was pleasant in person but too bad the delay in response and price change (makes me feel like a bait & switch) had me decided to go with another company. I still have good feeling about this company just that they have to tiny up their estimate process and stick with their words. Business is about customer's faith in you. If your in person quote can change then the customers won't trust you to do the job.

All work went as planned and hoped. Too bad that the service call was extended by the need to drive a fair distance to get replacement parts for this old system, which raised costs. Technician was professional, competent and didn't waste time or motion or materials

In the remodelling of our house, we spent a lot of time researching the right heating / AC installing company, given the high prices involved. We went with Ameritec based both on recommendations and on the quality technical and financial proposals they provided. It turned out to be an excellent choice. They not only gave us quality installing service of good systems at a comparatively competitive price, they were also highly engaged in helping us make difficult individual choice (e.g. placement of the units, integration of their work into our broader remodelling work with minimal disturbance). Excellent experience - recommended without hesitation.
