Mir from All Renovations was contacted so that I could obtain an estimate for finishing my basement. Once I submitted the request online, he called shortly thereafter to setup a day and time. Mir arrived early on the agreed upon day and he provided a portfolio that showcased previous work that the company completed. Onsite he was able to answer all questions and provided some good options for finishing the project that would not result in excessive costs. Early, the following week I received an estimate via email. The estimate did not have every expense itemized, but it was the lowest one of the three contractors I had interviewed concerning this project. As it would turn out, I went with the contractor that was in the median range of price but they specialize almost exclusively in basements. Overall, I did have a good experience with All Renovations (even though it only turned out to be for an estimate) and Mir was professional as a representative of the company.

My experience with All Renovations was fantastic! Omar and Jim were always eager to answer any questions I had and kept me informed throughout the whole project. Their pricing was very fair (even when I added work onto the project along the way). The workers were always on time and very courteous. The work is beautiful and I will recommend them to any and all of my friends.

We hired All Renovation to put a full bathroom into our finished basement. They did a great job and the process was smooth the entire way. The owner could come quickly to inspect and folllowed up with a detailed estimate. He answered questions quickly over email. The foreman was also great and came out to inspect and give us a final supplies list. We bought everything ourselves which sped things along. Both the foreman and owner were really helpful and responsive over email and willing to adapt things slightly as we had some new ideas or minor concerns. They finished the job on time and it looked better than we expected. They also helped us with a problem we were having with an ejector pump and smells around our utility sink. We would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Installed full bathroom in part of former utility room in finished basement. Also fixed problem we were having in basement from old ejector pump and smelly utility sink.

Omar and Adrian from All Renovations are a great team and do excellent, professional work. Omar is the estimator and was on time for his appointment and able to give me a general price range and project schedule on the spot. We talked through the budget and project - including some optional items I wanted done but itemized separately. The proposal was put together well and included price options for different work. Omar responded quickly to changes in the proposal and we were able to put it together to my satisfaction quickly. Due to the small size of the bathroom, Adrian was a one man show. He is very professional and will talk you through unforseen circumstances as well as give you his advice on different options to address them depending on budget. I never felt pressured to take a high cost change order and he was always willing to give alternative options. We had 2 change orders on the project - one was to move the drain pipe so that the new drain fixture would fit and the other was to reframe a bathroom wall so piping could fit behind it. Otherwise the work proceeded smoothly - it took about 2 1/2 weeks to finish the job (about 13-14 business days). Adrian worked independently mostly - I gave him the keys and went to work as normal. He would be cleaning up when I got home so we got a chance to review the day's work and talk through any issues that came up. The open communication led to a very stress-free project (for me) - it was good to be able to visualize issues that came up and see the project progress. The project area was clean and organized and very little impact on our day to day. I would hire Omar and Adrian again to do any major remodel work in my house. The new bathroom is gorgeous and we are very happy with the work done.
Description of Work: Bathroom remodel - build new shower including shower pan, tile on floor and shower, minor plumbing, install fixtures, patch drywall holes, prep and paint. Install an external exhaust vent for the kitchen. Small bathroom - about 40 SF total.

This is our second time contracting with Omar at All Renovations and using the install team of Edwin and Ferdys. They had recently renovated our main bathroom and had done a fantastic job. My wife loves working with them. Omar is very prompt in providing cost estimates and breaking down costs for making decisions on individual job components. The install team is prompt, courteous, professional craftsmen that take care of your house and offer helpful suggestions during the job. They put cardboard on the floors to protect access areas, covered doorways to prevent dust from traveling to nonwork areas and cleaned up the job site daily. We had purchased some nice, unused cabinetry at the Re-store on Route 1 in Alexandria. However, it was not custom designed for our kitchen. And consequently, it took some extra effort on the part of Edwin and Ferdys to make it all fit together seamlessly. They also had to make some custom shelves that were missing from our 'new' cabinets. I'm not sure many contractors would want to bother with a job like this. We are very happy with the end product and would recommend them to others.

We hired All Renovations to finsh our basement. We are 100% satisfied with our experience with All Renovations! Omar arrived early for our appointment for an estimate. He provided a detailed proposal soon after our meeting. Omar responded quickly to any questions we had about the proposal, and remained involved until completion of the project. Edwin, our foreman, was wonderful to work with; he communicated with us regularly during our basement project. Edwin and Ferdys worked diligently and the quality of their work was excellent! The job was completed in less time than originally estimated. We will hire All Renovations again for other projects in our home, and will be happy to recommend All Renovations to family and friends.

All Renovations was recommended by our neighbor who was in the process of having his 2nd bathroom remodeled by Omar. We were impressed by the quality of the work. After receiving three bids, we chose All Renovations (Omar) based on the quality of his detailed proposal, prompt responses, clarity of explanations, and attention to detail. Edwin (Foreman) and Ferdys were our renovation team. They were conscientious, hardworking professionals who cared about the quality of their work and the care of our house. The pathway in and out of the house was carefully protected and the work site was thoroughly cleaned every night. We found them both really nice, trustworthy, and polite. They listened respectfully to our questions providing explanations and suggestions. For example, Edwin suggested that they could make their own custom shower niches better (and bigger) than ones we could buy. He was right. Our two niches add a very nice design element and worthwhile feature. Their suggestions are helpful and the quality of their work is excellent. Overall, we are very pleased with the outcome and would hire the again. Be sure to ask for Edwin and Ferdys.

Omar came to my house to provide an estimate for several projects. He was on time, professional in appearance and polite. His followup communication was superb and he kindly drafted several versions of the proposal for me. Ultimately, for unforeseen personal financial issues, I had to not move forward with the projects. However, based on my experience with Omar, I would recommend to anyone that they consider All Renovations Inc for their home improvement projects.

I can't say there were great, but rather they were amazing. We decided to remodel out dated master bathroom. We didn't even get another person to look into it. We scheduled the remodel and like clock work they started. We got a new shower tub that had an issue with the insulation. He didn't hesitate and put brand new insulation in the bathroom wall. He mentioned it and said not to worry about the price it is his way of saying thank you. Find a contractor that will do that for you. Change the floors, the toilet and a new vanity. To finish the job said pick a color and he will paint it for us. We picked a color and it was done. They spend two days and again i had some requests to change the bathroom and we once didn't hear him say no. He gave us suggestions on his expertise but did whatever we wanted. Love this company. We are about to use them to paint our downstairs living room and put brand new lights in there as well. Not to mention getting a fan in our master bedroom, which I have been asking my wife for years. All Renovations we are so glad to have found you.
Description of Work: We will have them paint our master bedroom and our living room next. We will also get sky lights in the living room and a fan in the master bedroom. We will also remodel our second bathroom upstairs. Without All Renovations we wouldn't have started anything as we didn't feel comfortable till we found them.

All Renovations did a fantastic job on my project. They completely demo'd an old bathroom and put it back with a very nice update. They were prompt and efficient. They understood my budget limitations and worked hard to stay within them. The crew was on time each day and worked very carefully. They did the whole job from start to finish in just less than two weeks. They were easy to deal with and even were able to make a few mid-project changes at my request with little added cost. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and the outcome. I would use them again and certainly recommend them.

This took 4 weeks and overall went very well. Very happy with the work quality and professionalism/personality of foreman and help doing the work. Foreman was Edwin Ayala, who was a pleasure to work with and seemed to know how to do everything and make it all work together. He also was very helpful to me in selecting materials, paint colors, etc., knowing what would look good. I really can't say enough good things about him. I was very comfortable with all of the workers and felt them all to be very trustworthy and helpful. The only "con" was that selecting and purchasing materials took and more time and energy than I had anticipated - a bit stressful. This had to be done quickly to stay on a tight timeline in order to meet our schedule. We needed to have the job completed within a specific time frame. If I do additional remodeling (which I may) I would plan and select everything well ahead of time, rather than piecemeal and rushed. However, timeline met. All work completed in 4 weeks. Initial projected timeline was 4 to 6 weeks. We are very happy with the outcome. And thanks to Angie's list for helping us select this contractor.
Description of Work: Basement remodel - added a full bathroom with tub/shower and beautiful tile - from scratch (no existing "rough-in"), added a bedroom and closet. Bedroom was preexisting room, but put in regular ceiling (where there was a grid), ceiling fan, recessed lights. Put recessed lighting in living room, tile floor in kitchen, foyer and powder room, electrical outlet on deck, upgraded powder room, some painting, new hot water heater and laundry sink and painting in unfinished portion of basement, replaced 2 medicine chests and mirrors in other bathrooms. Price did not include most materials - we purchased tub, toilets, vanity, tile, one new vanity top, bathroom lighting, medicine chests, etc.

The powder room we built had to be very small and very specific. All Renovations came out to measure and figure out how to make it work in the tiny space we have, two times prior to starting the job - which made us feel better about the feasibility of our project. Once we ordered all the materials, the crew was here within a week or so. They worked long days to get the project done in 6 days. We are very happy with the result. The powder room is exactly what we wanted and we now have a small room where nothing existed before. Jim was the foreman we worked with on this project. Jim was responsive to all our questions along the way. We enjoyed working with him and liked that he was accessible via text when we had a question/had to iron out details. Omar came by during the process to check things out too, which was another action that made us feel very good about the commitment to good work that All Renovation displays. This is the second bathroom project we have done with All Renovations and we are very glad we did both with this company. They were reasonably priced, efficient & quick working and easy to work with throughout each project. I highly recommend All Renovations to anyone consider bathroom projects.

We are very pleased with our experience with All Renovations. Omar came and met with us; he was very responsive in setting up the initial meeting and provided a quote very quickly (unlike many contractors we got estimates from!). Jose was the foreman assigned to our job and was fantastic to work with from start to finish. We have an older home so of course there will be 'surprises' waiting when you start a remodel. Jose approached all of them with a positive attitude and was great at offering advice for slight changes to our initial plan that would make the space more usable. Very happy with the work done and would use them again!

Overall, it went very well. We had Rocky has our head contractor with Nate and others working for/with him. They were very nice, professional, and courteous. They were focussed on quality, which we appreciated. They communicated well and did everything we asked them to do. They also gave us ideas. The only minor complaint we had was that about a week went by at one point before we were told the measurements of the doors we had to order, which slowed down the order. But that was a small issue. We would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Gutted a semi-finished part of our basement down to the framing and re-built it (fixed some framing that needed fixing, put up drywall, added overhead lights, added a railing on the stairs, installed wall to wall carpet, added framing around the windows, painted, installed three doors, and built "built in" cabinets and shelves using Ikea furniture that they finished with baseboards and crown molding).

Overall, it took what seemed like a long time to actually accomplish the work in our basement; the cost of the project immediately went up after we signed the contract; and communication was lacking throughout the whole process. We were told not to buy any supplies until a foreman from All Renovations could see our basement and take more precise measurements. After execution of the contract, it took twelve days before the foreman could even come out and inform us of how much flooring we would need to purchase, along with the amount of paint we would have to supply. The foreman also informed us that the floor of our basement laundry room was not level because it was only partially tiled and that some leveling was required before flooring could be installed, which would cost more. The foreman could not provide us the additional cost for the leveling at that time but said he would discuss it with Omar, who had provided our estimate. We followed up the next day about the extra cost for the laundry room, and were told they were trying to find the ?easiest and most cost effective way to fix the issue? and would let us know once they figured something out. Five days later we had received no information about the additional cost for the laundry room when we informed the foreman that we had purchased all the materials we were responsible for furnishing and asked about scheduling a start date. With no mention of the laundry room costs, we were told that Omar would call us to let us know the schedule. Having not heard anything over week later we followed up with Omar directly and the work was finally scheduled to begin on 2 June, a full month after signing the contract (which had provided for the work to be performed in May) and paying a deposit. We had yet to be informed of the extra cost for the laundry room. The morning that the work started we asked again about the cost for the laundry room. The foreman still could not give us a price for the extra work even though the issue had now been identified for three weeks. We reached out to Omar that morning who informed it would be another $750 to complete the laundry room by leveling the floor with tiles, which we would also have to provide at our expense. Other options he suggested were to complete the flooring in laundry room without the extra leveling at no additional cost but with no guarantee it would look good, or to forego the work in the laundry room for a credit of $300 from the final invoice. After deciding to forego the flooring in the laundry room, the foreman suggested that he complete the laundry room for $425, seemingly in a separate arrangement from our contract with All Renovations, and we agreed. It turned out that this was an additional cost on top of the full contract price with All Renovations, which we did not understand until the end of the project. At the end of the week there was a little more work to be completed, but we were leaving town for business and personal travel. The foreman went out of his way to stop in on the weekend and finish the work, and we have to say that it looks terrific and we are very happy with the space. However, we were ultimately disappointed with the experience because we selected All Renovations because of the detail in their proposal and we didn't expect the costs to increase because of a something that was obvious at the time of the estimate. The state of the flooring in the laundry room was not obscured by the appliances there, and the foreman instantly noticed it upon entering the room and understood it would create extra work and expense. I feel like the estimator had equal access to the room and should have also recognized that work and included it in the estimate proposed. It was just very distressing to feel like we were already paying a price premium and that we had a contract at a fixed price, only to have the cost increase immediately for something that arguably should have been recognized before we entered into the contract and was within the scope of the original contract. Even though it was not a lot of money in the long run, I feel like we had to pay extra for a change when nothing really changed between when the estimator inspected the basement and the foreman arrived. I would not recommend this contractor.
Description of Work: We contracted with Omar from All Renovations to renovate parts of our basement, including, putting up a new wall and insulation over an existing brick wall, installing an electric fireplace, repainting most of the basement walls and installing luxury vinyl on the basement floor. As part of the contract, we provided the paint, flooring and fireplace and the rest was his responsibility. We took three quotes from different providers, including All Renovations, and although All Renovations was the highest quote, we thought his attention to detail when explaining the services we needed along with his detailed quote put him over the other providers.

Thanks for providing your feedback and helping us grow as a company. We are disappointed that you didn't have an "A" experience with our company as that is what we always strive for with all of our renovation projects. Our clients have a good experience with us as indicated by our reviews on various review platforms. We provided the estimate as a detailed proposal the very next day after our meeting onsite on April 22, and notified your wife (removed member name) (whom our estimator dealt with from start to finish) that we would be able to start rather quickly based on our schedule as of April 22. This was all assuming a quick decision was made. We were hoping for an early May start but unfortunately you didn't decide to commit and use our services until May 1, which is when the signed original contract copy was mailed out to us. This was confirmed via email on May 1. We received and processed everything by May 5 as the original signed contract and deposit were needed before we could proceed with our projects. All clients including, (removed member name), are told (during initial proposal delivery via email) that the foreman would come out within 7-10 business days of signed contract receipt to do a walk thru and provide measurements. It then also takes another 7-10 business days to actually start the job so clients have time to purchase their materials with the sizing provided by the foreman. We have found this to be the norm and we weren't told otherwise when these timeframes were brought up with (removed member name) 7-10 business days equates to two working weeks excluding weekends. You indicated in the review that we came out 12 days after contract execution but it was actually 7 days since we processed the deposit and original signed contract on May 5 and met on May 12. These 7 days were well within our stated time frame and you may have counted the wrong amount of days. We apologize if there was confusion with the meeting times or if you had different expectations of when the foreman would come out, but we fulfilled our obligation mentioned at proposal delivery via email. We would be happy to provide a copy of this email again. The start date for the project also shifted slightly by the time we had received and processed the original signed contract and deposit, which was mailed into our office and processed on May 5. If we had an agreement in place shortly after our meeting on April 22 we certainly could have started a little sooner but we understand you had to think things over but the start date also became a moving start date due to a delayed decision. We always kept everybody in the loop based on our current schedule which was already into peak season by May 5, and our email exchanges are below indicating our willingness to communicate, be professional, and to inform of our possible start times. Most project delays are caused by additional work added on ongoing jobs and we have no control over this matter. We inform all our awaiting clients of ongoing progress and proceed to finish our ongoing job as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. Please see emails below of our prompt communication throughout the scheduling process although you claim we lacked communication: May 26 email from client at 10:02am: Omar, I would like to schedule the work to begin on my basement. I met with your foreman on 12 May, and purchased all the materials we are providing based on his estimates. I let him know on 18 May that I had purchased the paint, flooring and electric fireplace. I was told that they would let you know, and that you would call me and let me know the schedule. I'd like to know a little bit in advance so that I can coordinate it with my work and plan around it. Also, if this is getting pushed too far into June, my family has some travel plans that might conflict. Do you have any idea when you might be able to start this work? Thanks, (removed member name) May 26 email from All Renovations at 10:10am ( exactly 8 minutes after receiving client's email we responded): Hello (removed member name), Yes I will check with the foreman now and we should be able to start within 2 weeks. Thanks, May 26 email from client at 6:20pm: That would be great. Would the week of June 1st work? (removed member name) May 26 email from All Renovations at 6:27pm(responding after hours exactly 7 minutes after receiving clients email): It's hard to give an exact date as of now since we have to finish our current job in progress. We will know more once the job is near completion in the next two weeks. We should definitely be starting in June though. Thanks, May 27 email from client at 8am: I can understand that, but I had thought this would be done sometime in May or early June and didn't realize how much we are out of town later in June. Either my husband and I, or both of us, will be traveling from 8-12 June, 22-26 June, and again 30 June-2 July. If it is possible to do the job the first week of June or the third week of June (15-19 June), that would be ideal. Please let me know once the completion date of your current job becomes clearer. Thanks, (removed member name) END OF EMAILS We started the job four business days later on June 2. Finally, it was said that our estimator should have known right away that the laundry room floor was unlevel at the time of the estimate but this is a difficult thing to determine immediately in a limited time frame during an initial estimate. We do our best and certainly our crews and foreman have a stronger eye for this type of issue and we were happy to catch the issue before the job started. We discussed the leveling issues in house for awhile trying to come up with options including without charging for it and we indicated to you, as acknowledged in the review, of our intentions to make the remedy as cost effective and easy as possible. We finally determined all the fair and viable options on June 2 when the job started after looking at things again. The options included refunding $300 for the laundry room flooring that we had charged. We also offered to assist and for you to pay our crews directly an amount of $425 (this is against company policy but we wanted to assist and make everybody happy) for the additional work outside of the contract to level the laundry room floor and make the leveling issue less apparent. But (removed member name) declined via email on June 2 at 4:25pm and took the $300 credit option but now it's claimed in the review that you paid directly an additional amount of $425 in an agreement with the crew. We made this option available from the beginning and our office should have been notified of your correct decision prior to doing it. Regardless we are happy the job turned out well in the end as this was the most important aspect, but we are truly disappointed in the thinking we misled anybody by our unintentional manner of determining the floor unleveling. We apologize that we couldn't complete the additional work at no cost and we hope for a better experience for your future projects. Thanks for your business!

All Renovations have been used by a couple of people in our neighborhood and everyone had good things to say about them. Apparently there are a couple contractors that work for All Renovations. We had Edwin (Foreman) and Ferdis and they were awesome! They were both really nice, trustworthy, polite, professional, punctual, skilled and tidy. The team did a great job on the work and the level of the finishing. Bathroom: In the bathroom we had a complete remodel: new tub, new vanity, lights, toilet and tiles. The team did a really high quality job and made sure that they talked to me about anything that I may have not considered or any design decisions. I am not great with design so I appreciated asking Edwin and Ferdis for their opinions. The end result is fantastic and I was really happy with it. Their tile work is very good -- all the tiles were precisely cut and laid. Kitchen/Dining room: We didn't want to put in new cabinets in our kitchen to help keep costs down, but we wanted new flooring. They were able to remove the old flooring and cut it right up to the old cabinets, which meant that the new tiles were at the level of the old flooring so it looked seamless. They did an excellent job with the tiling. They also installed a new oven and microwave with an external vent, which we didn't previously have. All of it worked perfectly and looks really good. On our kitchen ceiling there was a corner that needed patching. They cut out a couple of old tiles and then used drywall to patch the area. They cut groves in to the drywall/mud to make the new patch match the rest of the ceiling pattern and I can't even see the difference between the old and the new areas. They also did a great job at patching a piece of my hall hardwood and put in new wood and matched it with the old wood so you can't see the difference. In the dining room we had our old ceiling replaced and some new spot lights put in. I have an old house so as they started removing the ceiling it exposed some old house problems like uneven joists that needed to be straightened for the new ceiling to be level and some old joists that needed reinforcing with new joists. It was stressful to discover these things as they were unexpected, but I was always shown the issue and we talked through different options (what happens if we leave it, various levels of fixing it etc.). General: The guys cleaned up at the end of each day. The first thing they did in the dining room was lay down cardboard to protect the existing floor. They laid down fresh cardboard for us to walk across in the evenings as well. When they were doing the bathroom, which was upstairs, they laid down plastic covering on the stairs and hallways to the bathroom. During demolition periods they put up plastic sheets to help contain the dust. We were away for a week over the work and the guys looked after my house respectfully and I had no problems when I came back. I will definitely use these guys in the future.

Finally decided to have NO work done in my basement by anyone. Just too low a ceiling for the investment.
Description of Work: Gave excellent, detailed description of work to be performed to improve basement. Was on time, good humored and knowledgeable. A good, competitive price.

It went very smoothly.See above.
Description of Work: Renovated two 1950s bathrooms with all the ugliness that suggests. So many surprises come with projects involving old houses, and mine was no exception. What's impressive about All Renovations (and my foreman Edwin) is how creative they were in finding solutions that didn't break the budget. Because of unforeseen issues, it took longer to complete the two baths than expected but Edwin's enthusiasm never flagged even when he had to delay starting another job. He was meticulous, conscientious, and never cut a corner. Knowing how to ease the tile edges, he saved me from having to buy many expenses finish pieces. The workers came on time, took off their shoes, cleaned up, and kept their tools confined to one space. Edwin spent hours on the phone--off the clock-- discussing what to do when we found a load bearing wall, or several walls composed of cinder block, uneven subfloor, radiators in the way, and on and on. The change orders were eminently reasonable. He had design ideas I embraced wholeheartedly but would not have thought of myself. I thought the medicine cabinet was a millimeter too low--he took it down and put it back up again cheerfully. That was an hour of his time/life he will never get back, or get paid for. I generally don't write reviews but this company deserves to be commended. I got three bids for the job and chose All because of a good feeling about the owner and a reasonable price. It cost more than the bid--h*** lies behind the walls of Washington houses--but that would have been the case with any company's bid. I have lived in and renovated five Washington houses and this was my best experience of all of them. When I move into the second phase, All Renovations will get the call.

Omar and Adrian (foreman) did a great job renovating our rundown basement. Our basement renovation was the last part of a whole house renovation we did and I have seen my fair share of shoddy to average contractors and All Renovations Inc was a breath of fresh air. Omar was professional and knowledgable from the first contact and was prompt to respond to all questions/provide a quote. The quote I received was in my price range - not the lowest (which I tend to avoid) but certainly not the highest bid. They provided all building materials and I provided the finishing products as I preferred. They used quality building materials and did not try to cut costs in this angle. Adrian, the foreman was great to work with everyday and very trustworthy. He is very detail oriented and knowledgable about everything that we did in the basement. He was open to creative suggestions and accommodating to most requests. We changed our original plans as we encountered a few issues during the renovation and his suggestions were extremely helpful. He arrived with his crew promptly every day and they cleaned and organized their tools neatly EVERYDAY before they left the jobsite. I felt no hesitation leaving the house in his hands as they were very respectful and trustworthy. Renovation: Demo - We removed shabby wood paneling around the living room and demolished a room with just a toilet in it. We took down a wall between the living room and corridor to create an open design. We had to move the main water line during demo and this was done very quickly with little disruption. All debris was removed by end of day by Adrian and crew. We moved a boiler away from a door to create a wider entry area and tucked it away into a new utility room the crew constructed. Bathroom: The basement had a small room in it with just a toilet. We demolished this room and moved the bathroom into a more fitting place in the basement. This included the tedious work of digging the toilet line to the new location. The new bathroom has a walk in shower with 3 shower fixtures (rainfall, standard shower and separate hand shower). We also included a washer dryer in the bathroom. The crew constructed a pocket door and re-used one of the original doors as we preferred. Living Area: Wood paneling was removed and we framed and insulated all outer walls + ceiling. The room was then drywalled sealed and painted. We installed the same flooring throughout the basement. A new kitchenette was installed which included a fridge, sink and dishwasher. Appropriate electrical outlets were added throughout the room and it turned out fantastic. Bedroom: Finished an existing walk in "area" into a a walk in closet. Demo what was inside and install drywall around to create a spacious closet. Bedroom also received same flooring as the rest of the basement. The crew also refinished the hardwood steps leading up to the main level and updated/painted the wall leading up. 9 pot lights were installed throughout. A new entry door was installed - Adrian worked hard to make this door fit into the space - we realized that maybe we should have ordered a custom size afterwards but they made what we had work regardless. The crew also worked well with other team members - I had someone else install windows and Adrian was sure to frame the windows in such a way that the window installers job was much easier. He also fixed one window that had a large gap from the window team providing a smaller window by mistake. I also had an electrician friend do a few extra things outside the contract and they were accommodating to that as well. We are very happy with the end result and the place has transformed into a completely different place. It is unrecognizable from what was there before and gets many compliments. I think anyone would be happy with All Renovations - make sure you spell out everything you want in the contract and the team will deliver as promised. I look forward to working with them anytime.

My basement was gutted by the mold remediation and sump pump installation process. Omar was thorough in his assessment of the rebuild, provided a couple of options I had not considered, and turned around an estimate quickly. He was able to fit me into the schedule quickly, though there was a delay of a few days due to a job running longer than expected. Nonetheless, when Adrian and his team did arrive they were professional, thorough, and courteous. There were some unexpected complications, but Adrian was always ready with a couple of recommended solutions and the entire job was completed as scheduled. When I had a couple of minor adjustments that I wanted made after completion, Adrian fit me into his schedule and took care of them. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done.

I contracted with All Renovations to remodel the basement of a 1920's home that had suffered from bad remodeling efforts and questionable fixes perpetrated by various "handymen" over the years. All Renovations outbid the other offers by 33%, solved all the problems we uncovered (and there were many of them) intelligently and efficiently, and save us a significant amount of money with their advice on layout and materials. Please, they are just plain good people to work with. The crew, led by Adrian, always showed up and left on time, kept the work area clean, and did not disrupt the household at all. We heartily recommend All Renovations for this kind of work.

We contracted with AJ to remodel the basement of a 1920 house in NW DC. This basement had suffered from years of neglect and questionable fixes perpetrated by various "handymen," so I knew we would uncover additional problems as the work progressed. And we did. Nonetheless, Adrian, the crew foreman from AJ, solved most of the problems we found quickly and intelligently, and his recommendations for both layout and materials saved us a considerable amount of money. More importantly, the crews showed up on time, honored all the deadlines, and were just plain good people to work with. Plus, their estimate was 40% less than the other providers I contacted. I highly recommend this company. They are effective, efficient, and economical, and I enjoyed working with them on this project. While I don't want to get into another major renovation anytime soon, AJ would certainly be my provider of choice.

The entire process was very smooth with All Renovations. For the first step, Omar came out to our home and did the estimate for us (sidenote: at completion, the project came in exactly at the estimated price). While he was here, he took detailed notes and asked many valid questions. I really valued the time Omar took to get all the information as accurately as possible. Also, while he was here, he allowed me to walk through some other ideas we have for the house (in the future). He was very upfront and honest about what projects were possible and/or worth our time & money. I really appreciated that about Omar - he is easy to talk to and a straight-shooter. Next, we received the contract within a day or two after Omar's visit. We paid a portion of the total as a deposit and he put us in touch with the foreman for the job, Jose. Jose came out to our place on a Saturday morning to take a look at the space. We went over more specifics with him and he gave us very detailed directions about what types of materials to order for the bathroom, which we really appreciated. It took a few weeks for us to find the right tile for the bathroom. We hit a few bumps in the road on the tile hunt and while we were debating tile choices, Omar did a nice job of keeping us on track. He would check in occasionally to see how we were doing with our decisions and when we had issues he was helpful in giving us advice. Eventually, we got in all the materials (vanity, medicine cabinet, tiles, grout, shower head, fixtures, lighting for the bathroom) and we were ready for the work to begin. Once Jose and his crew began work on the bathroom, they worked long days and completed the entire job in approximately 5 days. In all, they: picked up the tile for us from the tile distributer, ripped out an overhang of drywall in the bathroom (to let more natural light in), took down old tile, put up new tile on 3/4 of the bathroom walls, painted the rest of the walls & trim, replaced the sink, vanity, light fixture and medicine cabinet, installed a shower light, installed a wall cabinet and purchased really nice looking fixtures that we had forgotten (toilet paper holder etc...). They also took all the waste and mess away with them at the end of each day. Jose and his crew worked long hours and completed the job in short order. We love the finished bathroom! It has made a huge difference in our day-to-day lives. We appreciate the level of organization at All Renovations - it made working with them very easy. We plan on using them again to build a second bathroom and perhaps to build some storage options. All Renovations was not the only company we met with when beginning to think about this project, but a colleague had recommended All Renovations, so they were on our list of companies to contact. After we met with Omar we were certain they were the only company we wanted to work with for this project and on more in the future. Their pricing was the best and the work is high-quality, plus everyone we dealt with was professional and kind.
Description of Work: We had All Renovations come out to renovate our only bathroom in the house. It's small and was very out-of-date, so we needed a company that could work with limited space but still create the bathroom we envisioned.
