Description of Work: James Eastham created a beautiful sunroom on a deck that formerly housed a hot tub. Because the deck had been engineered to carry a heavy load, the builder was able to use that foundation to house a 13 x 18 room that faces southeast, and provides a tree-house like environment to our home. James was able to come-up with options that, in my opinion, make our room a one-of-a-kind experience. Most of the exterior of our home is vinyl, but James came up with an exterior that resembles stucco, but without the expense and fuss. Instead of being an albatross, the exterior blends perfectly with the entire house, and it is NOT vinyl. The interior contains one massive window (half cloverlead), and the remaining area is filled with light from 6 other large windows. The ceiling is knotty-pine, stained with clear poly. The floor is adobe colored ceramic tile, which adds to the rusticity of the room, but still lends itself to a house that is largely traditional. Although not currently furnished, our plan is to use some wicker/rattan, but also utilize some antique pieces. It is an overall delight and we look forward to many pleasant mornings and evenings in the trees!
