DENNIS MOTE CONSTRUCTION

Will give Dennis Mote a call anytime I need a contractor/handyman. He's friendly, trustworthy, and his prices are great. I had him make a few repairs in a new house, and the work was perfectly done. He is willing to come to the city.

The job list: --remove and return 8ft. cabinet and mirror --remove and replace toilet --remove and replace marble shower --remove and replace ceramic floor tiles --repair aprox. 3sq. feet of flooring at corner of shower --repair/replace baseboard/foot molding --replace 3 faucets, shower head and contract out the shower door replacement --minimal painting as needed Everything went very well. Dennis, and his assistant Cliff, were very professional and at the same time very personable. They arrived when they said they would and were considerate of our schedule. The job involved the timing of selection and delivery of the shower, floor tiles, toilet, faucets, etc. Dennis stayed right on top of things and kept in touch during "wait time". During their work, they were careful about keeping their path(door to bathroom) clean and about leaving the work area tidy and open as possible. They were very good with communication(answering questions, etc.) about everything. Eight weeks after completion of the job, we are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Dennis Mote Construction.

This man is wonderful. Dennis can do almost anything, but he prefers carpentry and roof work. He is honest to a fault. I've known him for 20 years. He at most has two helpers on our jobs, but often worked by himself. He gives suggestions as to how to save money and where to buy materials. His father is a crackerjack cabinetmaker in Ohio, which is how he learned his trade. The biggest problem we have with him is we usually have to wait for him to come. But he's worth it. We wouldn't want to hire anyone else. He comes when he says he will, or calls with a good excuse if he's held up on another job. We usually hire him once a year for a day or two to do all sorts of things around the house.
