The serviceman called me to tell me that he was running behind. This is professionalism. It doesn't matter to me when someone is late but if you are late and don't call that is irresponsible. This young man was responsible and does great work. I will definitely refer this company again. I have no negative comments.

They did a fine job. They came very quickly when we called to look at the damage and they gave an estimate. They were able to actually schedule the work for the same week. The man came out promptly and replaced the entire thing within a short period of time considering it was only one person. They took the damaged door and everything away with them. The bill was exactly what the estimate was. The price was reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

I love them. They did what they said they were going to do for me. They did it at the right cost. It was a good cost. They charged me the same amount that they quoted me. They were reliable and knowledgeable. The doors are holding up well. They are still on it. I would surely recommend them to the others. I will use their services again in the future.

I called at 10 AM to see if I could get same day service, had a technician to my home at 12:15 PM, and service was completed by 12:45 PM. WOW! Very responsive! The technician was friendly and professional. I thought the labor fee was a little high for just 30 minutes worth of work, but it could just be a flat rate labor fee based on the service rendered and was worth it to have complete resolution within two hours and forty-five minutes. I will definitely recommend their services to others.

The personnel were great from the sales person, the coordinator back at the office, to the installers. No surprises at all. I gave a B rating in price only because I was seeking the very best door I could find and knew that put me into the higher end price-wise. I did NOT price shop them, as price was not really the issue, quality was. I tend to order the steak over the hamburger when eating out too... Hopefully the 'added value' of the higher end installation will pay off in years of reliable service. All is well almost a year in! Somebody e-mail me a reminder next decade, and I just might bump that price rating up to 'A'.

David came out and did the initial estimate. He was nice, answered all my questions and wrote up a proposal. I decided to go ahead and get the job done. When they came out to install the garage door, the installers were courteous and had the job finished in just a few hours from what I remember. One of the installers also took some time to explain everything to me about how the garage door opener worked, how to keep the garage spring oiled, and about the safety features of the garage door. For example, how it will stop closing if anything crosses a light "beam" at the bottom of the garage door. Everything went very smoothly. The only minor glitch was that I wanted a garage door with windows, but the windows were not on the truck. So they said they could come out a few days later and put the windows in. But after I saw the garage door installed, I decided I liked it and to keep it without windows - so they refunded the extra cost of the windows and sent me a check within a week as a refund for that extra cost. So overall, I am very happy with the whole experience and I would recommend Amelia Overhead Doors to anyone needing a new garage door.

I like this Mennonite run and operated business. It gives me a good feeling to use a company that I can trust and that I can count on. The work they do is very meticulously done. That is for sure. They are knowledgeable and extremely respectful. They charge very fair prices and I get the feeling they care about the quality of work they are doing as well.

As expected. Servicemen showed up on time (on a Saturday at no extra charge). Completed the job in 45 minutes (including doing a complete maintenance checkup on all other door parts (tracks, rollers, etc). I've used the company before so I knew what to expect, but the servicemen don't wear uniforms, but their work truck has the name of the company on it.

The service men were very nice and cleaned up all their mess and hauled away the old door and hardware.

They did a really good job. When they came to install the garage door, they called first and asked if the time we set up would still work. They showed up immediately and began working. They were very respectful and time efficient. I haven't had any problems with my doors.

I was very impressed with their sales people, service and the installation. They were very accommodating to what we wanted and they had a nice show room so you could pick out the exact door you wanted. Plus, they'll put the window wherever you want them to.

Amelia Overhead Garage Door finished the job in a lot shorter time frame than I thought they would. They were cautious from start to finish. They didn't take a break at all during the time they were here. We really liked the price as well as the job that they did.

Amelia Overhead Garage Door was very respectful, prompt and honest. First, they brought the wrong door so they had to go back and get the right one. They did apologize a lot for doing that, that I could still hear them apologizing today. They felt so bad, but they did so great.

I loved my garage door openers and the price wasn't bad either. They did a good job explaining how they worked and answered all of my questions. They cleaned up as they worked. I was comfortable with them around my home. It took them two days to complete the work.
