Description of Work: They established a containment barrier and then removed all asbestos insulation from the attic. They then removed all of the remaining blown-in attic insulation. They arranged for air monitoring and final testing to ensure the area was safe and then removed all containment materials. | |They were responsive to my calls and questions, very knowledgeable and informative on the work that was to be done, efficient in their work execution, and highly professional in all interactions. Their work exceeded my expectations in all areas. I felt their pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend this company and would absolutely use them again.

Description of Work: I called them for a free estimate. They recommended I get it test it before hiring them. They were very responsive on time and delivered their proposal over the email with their licenses before they said they would. I'd recommend their services.

Description of Work: Peter Young and his staff were friendly, professional and very responsive. Their quote was also the lowest one we received (though to be fair only one other company gave us a quote). They were honest about the fact that we had one of the easiest forms of asbestos to remove (instead of trying to take advantage of the situation). They were able to do the job quickly and test the air without any complications. I would highly recommend using this company.

Description of Work: Young Environmental came and cleaned out some asbestos flooring and glue in our dining room. They then performed air testing. They were punctual, very friendly and explained everything well. they left the house spotless. Overall, it was a good transaction, and I would use them again.

Description of Work: The company removed asbestos vinyl tile that was in our basement. They were responsive and reasonable with their price. Given that there are not a lot of companies that do this work. Young Environmental was very affordable. The owner was really professional and easy to work with. I definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: Young could not do our job in Maryland, due to licensing; but was nice and professional enough to give me a contact that eventually led to us getting the service we needed. Nice guy.

Description of Work: Peter and his team helped us assess the best approach to remove asbestos paper on HVAC duct work and some adjacent wood. Peter was exceptionally well informed and proposed a variety of approaches [remove asbestos paper/remove ducts "insulated" with the paper and install new more optimally located duct runs. Once decisions were made they were able to do the work the next day. His team was pleasant, quick, thorough and minimally disruptive of home contents. Clearly experienced with seamlessly removing contaminated ducts, not damaging register openings and totally containing the asbestos dust from beginning to end. I'm very impressed with the price, speed, competence of this company. Peter made himself available by phone for any questions or plan shifts/tweaks-we always were enabled to make fully informed decisions.

Description of Work: We had a really heavy rain in September and my tenant explained that he smelled some mold. My tenant’s father has been renovating the house and he was able to remove the siding. He then saw that there was no mold on the siding. I still contacted Young Environmental services and they told us to use Dry-Lok masonry waterproofer to prevent mold in the future.

Description of Work: Young Environmental arrived on time (actually they were ten minutes early). Peter Young arrived with his crew, restated what was going to happen, and gave us an approximate time when the work would be completed (by l:00 p.m. that afternoon). Then his crew went to work. They worked very hard, non-stop, for half a day. They sealed up the kitchen from the rest of the house, then sealed the kitchen cabinets and the stove and the kitchen vent over the stove, and removed two layers of linoleum from the floor, one of which contained asbestos. They did an excellent job of removing all the layers of linoleum and its accompanying glue, and covered the kitchen floor with plastic so that we could continue to use the kitchen until our new flooring arrives. Augustine, the foreman, was most courteous and efficient. The crew did everything that Peter Young said they would do and completely cleaned up after themselves. They did the work thoroughly and very well, and finished on time. They were meticulously conscious of safety. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend this company to anyone who needs asbestos material removal.
