Timur repaired a large hole in my kitchen ceiling due to water damage from an upstairs bathroom leak. The work was top notch. You cannot tell any repair was done. The work was done promptly and without a long wait. I highly recommend Timur. I will use him again for future repair.

I wish I had not hired Timur for the job. He did the lousiest job on my ceiling and messed it up real bad. I hired Timur to smooth out the bulging drywall joints on the first floor ceiling of my home. When we met for the estimate, he told me that it won?t be "100percent" but he could make it "95%". There were visible bulging drywall joints on the original ceiling. However, most of the other areas of the ceiling (drywall) surface were level and even. Timur?s resurfacing/leveling work did not get rid of the bulging drywall joints; instead it made it much wider and unsightly. Resurfacing was supposed to produce a smooth, level ceiling surface. Now the ceiling is not at all level or smooth; it is full of wavy lines and trowel marks everywhere. Timur left my first floor ceiling in awful and unrepairable condition. He did not offer to fix the problems. Although his proposal (reproduced below) included new drywall installation and several other steps to make the ceiling 95%, he did perform any of these steps including the new drywall installation. All he did was applying an uneven layer of drywall compound that made ceiling much worse than the original condition. Timur spent very little time doing the actual resurfacing/leveling/skim coating work. His proposal specified the duration project as 5-6 visits. I thought it was 5-6 days; I was wrong. What he really meant was visits, not days. I started noting down the duration of his visits after the 5 hour visit on the second day. He actually spent 24 hours to resurface about 1400 square feet of celling. Here are the durations of his visit for each day doing the resurfacing: 6.5 hours; 5:25 hours; 3.75 hours; 4.25 hours; 3.00 hours; 2 hours. The time spent on the job was totally inadequate to produce good results on this complex project. He sanded almost 900 square feet ceiling area in about two hours. End result was that he left lot areas of without any sanding. He had a helper working at my place doing odd chores and some painting for the duration of the project. The helper spent couple of hours more than Timur each day. He painted and cleaned up during last two visits. Durations of those visits were 6 and 7 hours. Timur and his helper painted a major part of the ceiling before the primer was completely dry. They just painted over the wet primer. The ceiling is full of roller marks and does not have an even coat of paint. White drywall compound flakes and powder keep on falling from the ceiling. He charged 2100 dollars for painting job without the paint. I tried to work out the issues by contacting Timur in person, over phone and through emails. Initially he tried to convince me that his work was the absolute best. When that did now work, he wanted me to get a second opinion from an A-rated plastering/drywall expert from Angie's list. The expert estimated that it would cost me 8000 dollars for reworking a part of the ceiling. Timur was supposed to bring in his own A-rated expert from Angie's List which never happened. Timur also sent one of his ?subcontractors? to inspect the ceiling and give me an estimate for rework with a discount. The subcontractor said the ceiling could not be reworked with good results and he could replace the drywall for a discounted price of 11,000 dollars. He wanted me to buy insurance for 100, 000 dollars for him to do the job. Timur offered $1450, I held back towards reworking the existing ceiling or replacing the drywall. I have to spend a lot more than his 1450 dollars to fix the screw up. In addition to the badly messed up ceiling, he left numerous gouges/scratches on my hardwood floor, kitchen cabinets and dining room china cabinet. Additional damages include paint splashes on walls and on my new sectional sofa, and panted over recessed light fixtures. I would not recommend him to anyone for projects requiring high level of skills. From the Angie?s List ratings, it looks like he does a good job on small patching up jobs. In retrospect, I should have looked someone with good reviews on projects similar to mine. Relatively better rating for ?responsiveness? is due to returning my phone calls in a reasonable time. We found Timur Construction on Angie's List and we were impressed with all the positive reviews that came from previous clients. We hired them first to repair, replace, and repaint a water damaged ceiling in the bathroom of the basement apartment in our house. They did such a beautiful and timely job that we hired them to do a significant amount of plaster repair and repainting upstairs in our Brownstone townhouse. They had to deal with very high ceilings, crown moldings, cracked plaster, steep staircases, etc. and bottom line, we were very pleased with their work and we plan to hire them again in the future.

Timur provided a competitive estimate and came to complete the work at the end of December. He worked all day on New Years day to get the work done for me. Following the painting he put my shelves back up better than they were before. I would use Timur again for this type of work.

He was rushing. They were professional, courteous and hardworking. They showed up on time and did what was asked. They have reasonable price. He was very responsive. He contacted me by email. We set up a time. He came out and did what needed to be done. He sent me an estimate that day. He was back the next day and finished the work. The work was done within two days.

He saw the basement before the water proofing company did the work. There have been some changes since then so I suggested that he should come for another estimate. He's coming this Friday. He gave me several possibilities and he told me that I could go with either one so there were several options. I was extremely impressed with Timur. I think he is extremely honest and professional. It was a pleasure dealing with him and I look forward to continuing with him as well as my relationship with him.

Timur and his team were very professional, arrived punctually every day and the completed work looks excellent. Timur is very responsive and easy to communicate with. He made sure to keep us updated on the progress of the project and everything was completed within the estimated budget/time.

Timur is very honest, polite and highly professional. He never demands money ahead of time unlike some greedy companies demanding half the price ahead of time.He is so reliable and extremely punctual. He will address any issues promptly and always explains what is next. He always meets the time line he gives you before starting the project and even he finished ahead of time. I can not say enough about Timur. I highly recommend him.

We live in Florida. Work was on a rental house in Lake Ridge VA. Promptly responded is to initial phone call. Coordinated in a courteous and professional manner with renters on dates and times to accomplish the work. Visited property and provided an estimate within two days based on renters availability. Started worked promptly and provided pictures via text of work in progress. Completed work in two days at same cost as estimate. I would definitely use Timur Construction again and would recommend them.

Timor responded immediately to my voicemail requesting drywall repair and painting to water damaged areas. We communicated through texts and email. He arrived within about 1.5 hours of my initial contact and completed the work in about 2.5 hrs. He repaired multiple areas of peeling paint, touch up painting to window ledges, and repainting of water damaged areas. He was very nice and professional. I would definitely refer him to my friends and use him again. The painting was done perfectly in that you are unable to tell the difference between his work and the rest of the wall.

I contacted several Angie's List recommended companies and he was the only one to respond. He communicated with me primarily by text message, which was amazing--this is how all transactions should work in my opinion because everything is concise and written down. A primary concern of mine was getting the job done quickly. He arrived within 1.5 days of contact and completed the whole patch and paint job within about 2 hours. It was an incredible pace, and it looks great. He also protected my bathroom appropriately with drop cloths and cleaned up after himself. Timur is a man of few words in person because he is all about getting the job done, but he is very communicative in setting up the appointment. In conclusion, I recommend him without hesitation and thank him for his good work and timeliness. I will certainly call him again.

Excellent work. No complaints. Easy to deal with. The space is even better than it was before the water damage.

Timur was very responsive to emails and phonecalls. He was very polite and did a great job of containing dust and mess with plastic sheeting. Timur completed all work a few days ahead of my deadline and did not try to add any extra costs. All work was preformed for the agreed upon price and best of all the ceilings look perfect!

Start to finish again, right to business. Took 2 hours and did a amazing job. You want these guys to help you fix your drywall issues. I'm going to hire them back for more work on my townhouse

Timur was very responsive. He responded quickly to the request for an estimate on Angie's List and was the only one of the 3 providers I contacted that was willing to do a free estimate for a small job like this in a reasonable time. He itemized the estimate so that we could decide about the three areas, as well as whether we wanted them painted. Timur and a helper showed up on time, worked hard, covered furniture, floors, etc. so they wouldn't get messed up, and cleaned up after themselves. The work itself is very neatly done--a real professional job. We are very pleased with the result, and in the future, if we have more drywall that needs fixing, we'll definitely call Timur.

I am extremely pleased with how things went from start to finish. Timur was available to come out the day after I initially called to talk about what I needed in order to provide a quote. I obtained three quotes in all and Timur's was reasonable -- coming in as the middle offer. Based on the time he spent looking at the work to be done and the detail of the quote -- I was confident in his price. Timur and Andre arrived at the time promised each day of the project. Timur offered a lot of flexibility in his schedule which allowed me to balance being at work with being at home for the project. They finished the project on schedule and within the price quoted. The drywall work and paint are beautiful. It was a pleasure working with them and I would happily hire Timur Construction for my next project.

Everything went great. Timur came out the day I called to give a free estimate, which was fair. Scheduled the job over email. Timur and his helper were on time and finished the job very quickly (day and a half), with excellent results. Repaired ceiling is very smooth and flat, like new. Very efficient, polite, and professional.

Overall experience with Timur Construction was exceptional. Timur was very punctual.. Even weathered the storm (Literally, there was a big snow storm) to commit to the previously scheduled appointment. We had a recent pipe leak in our kitchen which leaked into the basement causing the ceiling to collapse and damage throughout our fitness room. Other contractors had provided estimates ranging over $10,000 for the repairs. Timur didn't try to sell us other services that weren't required and we found his price to be very fair. Timur was great! Really nice work, very professional, and the room looks fantastic. They worked incredibly long hours, cleaned up after each day, and managed to drywall over ugly paneling and install new mouldings in a huge attic bedroom in a few days. I couldn't be more pleased. I would use him again without question and have already recommended him to a neighbor. The house was built in the early 60s and this room was "finished" by the first owners in a very haphazard manner, leaving several problem areas to address. Timur came up with some excellent solutions. What a find!

Job #1 listed above, on a library ceiling, was complicated by the presence of 100-year-old damaged lathe+plaster behind 25-year-old damaged drywall. A metal chimney passed through the area and I had very specific demands about the relationship of the ceiling drywall to an exposed brick wall--and how to treat the joint between the drywall and the metal chimney. Timur and colleague accommodated these fussy requirements--in a difficult working space--beautifully. Jobs #2 and #3 required straightening and replacement of previous bad modern framing, accommodating specific requests I had for the upper edges of the drywall within the skylight liner box. Excellent work. Job #4 was perhaps the most straightforward, but required substantial repairs above newly renovated bathroom fixtures, cabinets, and marble tilework. Done impeccably without marring any of the new fixtures below. Job #5 was a cosmetic task repairing damage caused by other parties; Timur patiently added it to my job list at the last minute. Because of my working circumstances, I needed to ask Timur to come by for the estimate on a Sunday afternoon, and to accomplish the work on the two following weekends. No week-day work was possible. He was superb and uncomplaining about this. Timur and colleague cleaned up the inevitable mess from drywall finishing very well, amidst a lot of new furniture and a library of books. I really couldn't ask for better work. I've waited 2 months to submit the review solely to ensure that no surprise cracks or defects appeared--as sometimes happens with drywall finishing. No problems have appeared. Timur and team are skilled drywall experts, and personable, polite professionals. I recommend them.

Showed up on time, worked 1 1/2 hours. Right to business and fixed the drywall and rehung the towel bar. I'll repaint the area, but looks solid. Sometimes you just have to in the experts. I have attached before and after photos. Recommend to my fellow Angie's list members
