The Pipe Doctor Plumbing Service

This was an emergent repair supporting a new dishwasher installation and I was fortunate that the Pipe Doctor could conduct the repair within an hour of the call. The team was very prompt and professional. They completed the repair perfectly and billing extremely quickly. They provided great advice on the best remedy to the issue. Also made some recommendations for future repairs without being pushy at all. I would definitely have them back.

Wayne and Jimmy (his helper) did a total toilet rebuild and replaced the valve to the toilet with a quarter-turn style valve. I was impressed with Wayne's and Jimmy's knowledge about my broken toilet. They were confident and skillful in their work, as well as finishing the job in a very reasonable amount of time. Wayne made it easy for me to understand what he was doing to fix my toilet so that no new problems would pop up in the future. I 'm glad that I found The Pipe Doctor through Angie's List and plan to use them exclusively for any other plumbing problems.

I sent in two Angie’s List requests on consecutive days to see if the company would be able to come out and do an estimate for repairs to my water line leak. After not receiving a response I followed up by phone later on the second day and left a voice message which was also not responded to. Not sure why there was no response, perhaps there was something going on with the company preventing response, but with water running down the street and a muddy yard I had to go with another company to do the repair.

Service provider arrived on time as scheduled. They Greeted me and we walked to the faucet area outside the house. They tested the faucet then informed me that the internal stem inside the faucet may be damaged. After removing the faucet cap and pulling out the stem, the stem was damaged and needed to be replaced. I was told to order the part and when the part arrives contact their office to complete the repairs. Repairs have been completed.

Service was great. A bit more expensive than the other estimates.

Luis, of "The Pipe Doctor" arrived and immediately found the problem. He replaced the valve and did everything possible to clear the line of debris that had broken off of the old valve. In the evening, the pipe debris blew loose and it perfect now. Luis, who did the work was excellent. I have used/tried a number of plumbers in the past, and they have been just "ok," However, because of Luis and his work and professionalism and friendliness, has convinced me that I never, ever have to look any further. I have found the company that I plan on using forever. Thank you Luis and for your excellent work and personality.

It went very well. The new kitchen faucet was done as ordered. The recommended valve replacement was needed as the installer recommended. I have confidence this additional service was a smart add on to the faucet and I was not being oversold. i would hire him again.

I called and the owner answered the phone. They could come the next day. All went well and price seemed reasonable.

Company was very professional and had the best price of the three estimates I recieved. They were very responsive and showed up on time to perform the work.

We had another contractor install a sump pump less than two years ago, only to find it was incorrectly installed when our basement flooded in the recent rains. Wayne from the Pipe Doctor was quick to respond and knowledgeable in all aspects of my problems, explaining the issues with our current setup. He installed a new system, tested it correctly, and then also took care of two leaking toilets and a leaking sink while he was there, all in a short amount of time. Very professional, guaranteed his work, and I intend to use him again.

The team was awesome! Firstly the owner called me first thing Monday morning to see if I still needed the service( I called and sent an on Sunday). We had to shut off the entire water supply for the house to stop the issue. He said that one of his people would come today. He sent Shawn who accessed the job and chose the most cost effective solution for me. He also made suggestions going forward.....he was not trying to hard sell me but wanted me to take some steps to make things work better for me.... I will be hiring the team for those suggestions.

Did a great job - all work was done in a timely and professional manner and they performed additional fixes while they were here at our request. The response time to our original request was very fast and thorough.

We called this company because we had gas leaks. First off they came in with no shoe covers and since the work was in 2 floors, they left shoe marks which we then had to get carpet washed. We understand some jobs may not allow covers, but it’s not professional to not have any drop cloths or wear shoe covers and leave the customer’s carpets in a mess. Second, if you are a worker who sweats a lot, bring your own towels to wipe your face!! They used 3 of the wash cloths we had in our laundry room, and had thrown them on the floor which we ended up throwing away. We shouldn’t be losing items from our own house due to your work! It’s just unprofessional! As for the work, a pressure test needed to be done to detect leaks, they cut a pipe over the gas meter to attach their gage, which I am sure cost us more because it was extra work, but when the gas company came out to turn on the gas, we learned they didn’t have to cut the pipe. We were quoted $650.00 for the pressure test, which I gave the go for that with no questions, however, after the test was done and we were told there are leaks on the HVAC pipes, I asked if I could have our trusted HVAC guy do the repairs and then have the Pipe Doctor verify the work, I got a disrespectful answer with a chuckle that “heh, you think I’m gonna verify the work someone else does?!”. I get it, if it can’t be done, just tell me no ma’am we can’t do that. No need to make fun of my question and no need to disrespect me. Overall we were not happy with the amount, professionalism and attitude.

Had to make a call back because apprentice plumber missed a seal. But everything is good now.

Wayne showed up on time, evaluated the situation, and recommended options to resolve it. Quality work was completed fairly quickly. I have used The Pipe Doctor previously and will use again.

Went well. Stewart was excellent. He called to set up the appointment on Angies' List referral. He came right when he said he would (and they texted both from him and from the company before). When he came, he got in, assessed it, gave me an estimate, knocked the work out. I actually called for two plumbing issues (the other was a slow draining sink) and he didn't upcharge me-- he said "let me save you money" and did a quick fix such that I could deal with it myself. Very honest, very knowledgable. I'll use them again.

Great! Emailed them yesterday and they called me to schedule a visit. They were early and finished quickly. Shawn and Brandon even had to go to a plumbing supply place to get a part they didn't have. Great service.

These guys were amazing. Showed up on time, completed the work in about 1/2 hour, and the price was great. We had the pipe that goes into the wall break off on one of our shower heads. Figured they would have to cut into the wall, but one of the plumbers had a special tool where he was able to go down inside and pull off the old gasket. What a relief that was. The other plumber found the leak in the toilet and replaced a few parts and it was good as new again. Can't thank these guys enough. Would definitely recommend and will use again if the need arises.

Representative from Pipe Doctor took a look and advised that everything was in order and that I simply needed to put some water through the drain from time to time to push air thru. Charge a small amount for his time and consultation.

Went very smoothly. Owner responded immediately and was able to get out to the home quickly. Repair was quick and easy. Given all that, I was ok with paying maybe $160 for the work, given the fast turnaround and it wasn't something we could have done easily ourselves (replacing a cartridge), but paying $227 AFTER discounts was a bit steep. Would probably call again for a bigger problem that requires a immediate work, but not for small plumbing needs.

The plumbers called promptly on Monday and scheduled an appointment quickly. The owner scheduled me for the first call, which worked out great. The plumbers came quickly early in the morning, 10 min later snaked the rag out.

Wayne from the Pipe Doctor was excellent! He replaced our kitchen sink basket strainer after a continuous leak and the whole process went smoothly. First, I purchased an Angie's List deal for the Pipe Doctor and they reached out to me to schedule the service so I didn't have to add that to my already long to-do list. On the say of service, I received a text message first thing to notify me of the technician's ETA, which I appreciated. Wayne arrived on time during the window I was provided. Upon inspecting our sink, he got right to work and thoroughly explained the issue and what he was doing to resolve it. He also provided their price to perform the job before he started. After doing some research on my own, the price I was given fell below the average cost in my area for this type of repair, so I was extremely pleased about that. Wayne was very thorough and he clearly knew his job very well. I would highly recommend the Pipe Doctor--every step of the service I received was very professional, meticulous and the cost was worth the services I received. We will undoubtedly be using them for future needs!
